I am growing increasingly frustrated with liking Daenerys = Nazi discourse, I am sick of it, it annoys me so much. It is one thing to dislike Daenerys, and another to call everyone who does a Nazi. It's annoying to hear how I'm a Nazi for seeing myself in a woman who was sold into bridal slavery, raped and abused, survived and is currently fighting to end slavery on a continent that has been slaving since before the Valyrian conquest of Old Ghis. 

Daenerys experiences reflect the experiences of many women of colour, especially female immigrants of colour. Daenerys reminds me of myself, of my cousins, of my sisters, fighting to survive the abuse our patriarchal family members put us through. She's exiled from her home through no fault of her own. She's trying to find a home and in the meantime, she's building bonds of love with her people. Daenerys is many things, but a Nazi isn't one of them. When she rains fire and blood on the slavers, I'll be right there cheering her on.
