It's survived over 225 years since its inception in 1789. Not even Hurricane Katrina could wash away the mark this cemetery has made over the centuries. Each grave has withstood the odds, some made it through in better shape as others lay nameless, scattered, & lost in time. The unique gothic marble & iron decay speaks to those who listen as the cool salted New Orleans breeze buzz throughout St. Luis 1's narrow walkways. With wanderlust, I lost myself through these towering shrines that give praise to those who have passed so long ago. They all speak the same message... "I existed & I was loved". I love this so much. No fake sounds or prerecorded voices. It is literally the only one I've found that is just a simple electronic voice recorder, and I love it!!! I haven't got a ghost talking yet, but I did pick up what sounded like heavy breathing or sighing. I really appreciate that you don't
