Oh I never had to get into it, I was into fanfiction even before understanding the concept of fanfiction. It always made sense for me to do something (art stories...) from the things I loved. Like when I was a kid, I loved writing and stories, and I also loved this children's book series the famous five, so of course, when I was around 9, I decided to write my own story with the characters (I had no internet at the time, so I had no clue it was actually a thing). I never finished that story but I had like one or two chapters written. Then I got into code lyoko and thought about creating my own fanzine with some of my own stories (still had no idea it was a thing as well). I spent a lot of my middle school doing some rp with my best friend for diverse fandoms by sending each other SMS (and it was at the time you had to pay for each individual SMS). But I got introduced to the actual concept when I got into the Doctor Who fandom and I read a lot, thought of writing some (I had so much ideas) but I never actually managed to write more than a few lines. Then we started actually writing a story together with a friend, based on a game we had played (still on the doctor who fandom). It might still be somewhere online btw but I'm not sure I'll even be able to find it. And then I got a bit away from fandom, but two years ago I went back to it with the le visiteur du futur fandom, and my friend was talking about their ideas for fanfiction, so I went back to reading some, got some ideas myself and started writing once more.

Oh no, this won't work. This is where my ability to follow rules stops. I can't recommend one author or fic, it doesn't work like that you know. It depends on so many things and without even looking at my bookmarks I have three coming on top of my head. So I'll recommend some, but not only one. (I'll do that in another post though to keep my recs at the same place)
❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?
I have plenty of ideas for fics (and I'm not going to share them right now to not lose my motivation too much) but when it is my ideas, I often think I'm the best person to write it, because I know exactly what I want in it.
Though if I had to chose one that I don't want to write, I'd like a neurodivergent equivalent to the queer guardian angel Aziraphale /demon Crowley one, but I don't know who I'd see as the best writer for it (if anyone wants to give it a try though...)

All of them, I love comments ! But once again, if I have to chose, I'd say those who discuss specific parts of the stories or the small details I decided to put, or the ones that makes theories about what is to come next.

My AO3 one is Eweryan and it comes from my friend's universe and the language they created. It means nocturnal and I took it because I'm a night owl and I love the night. For my tumblr one, it comes from my reddit one, which is similar except for the last part. The last part was about chemistry, and I changed it because this is no longer something that I am sure is a big part of who I am. I put chaos instead, because, well, my mind is chaotic and so is this blog. The time travelling part comes from doctor who.

i have a couple questions about the newly announced but not yet implemented change where blogs with the default theme will have their URLs changed from [username] dot Tumblr dot com to Tumblr dot com / [username], basically making them dashboard only unless the owner of the blog toggles it off. (Might be important to note I use Tumblr primarily through Firefox on Android, so I normally have a desktop view instead of a mobile view.)
1. Will this effect the archive function in any way? (I.e. will I still be able to go to [username] dot Tumblr dot com / archive, if I click on a post within the archive will it take me to dashboard view or the original view, etc.)
2. When this change is implemented, will there be an option to not be redirected to dashboard view for blogs I do not own? This could also have an "always view is dashboard mode" toggle as well, which some people might like
The first question is very important for me because I go through a lot of very inactive blogs via their archives to find old fanart and fanfiction, and not being able to view the posts on blog and instead being forced to view it in the dashboard, because the blog owner doesn't use the blog or possibly even Tumblr anymore and therefore won't toggle the change off, would make my "blog crawling" very very infuriating.

To answer your first question: no, archives will continue to work as they currently do. Even if a blog has the “Enable custom theme” toggle flipped off, there are a couple of places where we won’t redirect the {blogname}.tumblr.com traffic, and the blog’s archive page is one of them. The submission page is another since there’s no way to submit posts from within Tumblr’s web app (yet).
It’s a different story if the blog has the “Hide {blogname}” toggle flipped on, but this is a separate privacy setting that is always off by default. Blog archives have been unavailable for these blogs for many years, though we hope to fix this soon!
As for your second question: also no, we’re afraid. If a blog has “Enable custom theme” disabled, you cannot choose to view it with a theme. I would hope that this isn’t too controversial, given that you already couldn’t choose to view a blog with a different theme than it has installed – for example, as much as I would love to see the Staff blog using Vision, I’m not in charge of choosing which theme the Staff blog uses, so I can only imagine it.
Hopefully, this information puts your fears to rest. We’ve been very careful about implementing this change, thinking about little things like this and trying not to break anything. The change is out to everyone now, so if you find anything that we missed, please send a support ticket to let us know ASAP!

The Themes of Ringo Ishikawa
It was only a few years ago, during a Nintendo Indie Game Showcase, that I learned of the existence of a game called The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa. It looked interesting and I was still going through a bit of a high with my foray into the Yakuza series. A Story about Japanese Delinquents set in what appears to be the late 1980s-early 1990s, a story about a group of delinquents and what the world might have in store for them. It was part Beat 'em up, part Sandbox, with a little bit of Life Sim thrown in.
Your Secrets
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa, at its core, is a story about growing up and being at a crossroads when certain chapters of life are coming to a close. Whether it's the prospect of Graduating High School or perhaps maybe something else entirely, we've all experienced this feeling of uncertainty, feeling that the winds of change are blowing in the air. Ringo's story is no different.
A year ago, delinquent Ringo Ishikawa and his friends Ken Nakamura, Masaru Takahashi, Shiro Abe and Goro Yamaguchi, took a train ride into enemy territory and fought off a gang from Northern High, headed by another delinquent named Nakazawa. Ringo's gang seemed pretty happy in the aftermath, optimistic that they'd be leaving their marks on history and legacies for their high school in hopes that future delinquents would look up to them. In the present day, circumstances appear to have changed as the gang face the last year of their high school careers, with one last autumn to enjoy before it's time to call it quits. After a meeting with the guidance counselor, Machida, Ringo is left with the task of trying to figure out what exactly he wants in life moving forward.
Now, gameplay-wise, it's up to the Player in what Ringo will do - whether it's improving his grades and trying to be a straight A student, or perhaps skipping a few days to go work a part time job at a local video store. Maybe even hit up the book store and the school library and get some books to read.
Or quite simply, just gather up the gang and go for a romp around town, playing games and picking fights with rival delinquents until the day's over.
Narratively speaking, The story plays out over the span of a month and a lot happens within that time frame and at specific areas. People change, interests change, and many events unfold. I won't spoil the entire plot, as I feel it's best to experience the game by one's self.
Mr. Monster Man
In a matter of themes and how the game carries them, there's certainly a few of them and ways to look at them, even how they might be embodied. Whether it's Idealism and Cynicism, Existentialism, or even say the theme of Change.
Now before we get into the ways they're embodied, it's worth giving some explanation as to what Idealism, Cynicism and Existentialism all mean. The world of Philosophy has had many brilliant men and women enter it, and generally a lot of those bright thinkers have also changed the world of Philosophy by introducing new concepts and ways of thinking. Ways of seeing the world and trying to seek out unknown answers to questions of the world.
Admittedly, I cannot give more in depth explanations for Idealism and Cynicism, but I can provide for Existentialism.
Idealism is given two specific definitions:
1. The practice of forming or pursuing ideals, especially unrealistically.
2. Any various systems of thought in which the objects of knowledge are held to be in some way dependent on the activity of mind.
Cynicism is defined as the following:
An inclination to question whether something will happen or whether it is worthwhile. It is also an inclination to believe that people are motivated purely by self-interest.
For Existentialism, As I was taught in an ethics course I took:
Existentialism is effectively an approach to life that roots itself in the idea that you control your life, nobody else can control it for you.
Life is a process of becoming yourself. From the moment you're born to the day you die, you are both the artist and the canvas that you paint upon. The choices you make in life are the materials you use to paint your picture - In other words, you are able to decide what you want to do today, do tomorrow, and then you act on those decisions and thus reflect on the decisions made yesterday, made today and possibly reflect on the ones made tomorrow.
Philosophers who have ties to Existentialism are Soren Kierkegaard (1813 - 1855), Friedrich Nietzche (1844 - 1900), Jean Paul Sartre (1905 - 1980), and Martin Buber (1878 - 1986).
North Country
With the philosophies of Idealism, Cynicism and Existentialism elaborated upon, it's now time to talk about how each theme is embodied.
Change - As mentioned prior, The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa is at its core a story about growing up and being at a crossroads. Change is merely either a symptom of them, or they're a symptom of it. To "grow up," is to Change certain things. If we're at a crossroads like the titular Ringo, we find ourselves struggling to Change or even struggling with Change. As the game's plot progresses, it becomes increasingly apparent just how much Ringo struggles with the idea that times are changing and that he might be struggling with the idea that even his friends are changing for better or in some cases, for worse.
Idealism - In the game's prologue, the entire group is idealistic... However, out of Ishikawa's group in the present, only a few of them embody the theme of Idealism. Those who do are Ringo, Shiro and Goro. Shiro and Goro's idealistic tendencies are geared toward their hobbies and relationships.
Ringo himself is arguably the biggest embodiment of Idealism, as he follows the first given definition to a near detrimental degree as the plot unfolds. He firmly believes in his friends and will even do anything to help them out, which again ties into his struggle with the idea that they're changing as people as well.
Cynicism - The remainder of the group, Ken and Masaru, are the ones who embody the theme of Cynicism. Masaru doesn't really see himself having a bright future and thinks he's better off becoming a Yakuza. Ken, meanwhile, is the most cynical of the lot and thus the most critical of everyone. His delinquency only further drives his cynicism. Ultimately, the game itself also seems to lean toward a more cynical outlook given the focus on Delinquents in Japan.
Existentialism - Change is only just one of the core themes that The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa embodies. Existentialism is another major theme of the game. As outlined prior, you are able to decide on what you want to do today, what you might do tomorrow, and what you did yesterday. The game gives you freedom to do just that, to simply live a day in the shoes of Ringo Ishikawa. In a way this reinforces that feeling of being at a crossroads as well, given the freedom to do just about anything.
Counting Colors - Finishing Thoughts
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa was a game that certainly resonated well with me. Well enough that I'm inclined to write this post about it. While I cannot say that I've lived a life similar to Ishikawa, I can say that I connected pretty well with the character. His friends in some ways also remind me of people I have personally known as well, in the ways they have conducted themselves and how some have behaved. The game's music is wonderful, they're all public domain songs as well, by various artists like ANITEK or Indian&Fox. In this post, I've linked a few of the tracks (Hence the titles like "Your Secrets" or "Mr. Monster Man").
I'd certainly recommend getting your hands on the game however possible, maybe you might find yourself enjoying it the way I did. While I won't go into specifics on how the game's ending unfolds, I will say it's up to interpretation on what happens afterward. Making this post has been on my mind a few days now, and I've always wanted to talk about the game in some capacity.

Character Profile: Amara

The Invisible Princess of the 66th Universe - Amara
In the infinite expanses of the multiverse, there lies that of Universe 66. A Universe where the Saiyans never had their home world blown up or their race scattered across the cosmos. for 20 years In this universe, they’ve effectively conquered many worlds and see to subjugating the masses with their might.
It didn’t matter who it was, they were little threat to the warrior race.
However eventually, It was on Planet Earth that Their reign would come to an end, at the hands of a woman with no memories of her past, a pair of genetically enhanced siblings, a rebellious princess and a few others.
There’s a lot more to that story, but this is not the place for it.
This here is the woman who once lost her memories, a woman who was once the true Princess of the Saiyans. Her name is Amara, though she went under the identity of Samara during the period in which she suffered from Amnesia, which in turn was caused by being the lone survivor of a long, bloody battle that saw a close friend of hers passing away in her arms.
The amnesia period lasted for six months and ended when her memories came flooding back in full force under similar circumstances.
She’s 25 years old, clocks in at a height of 6′11 (8′11 in LSS), and has a cup size of J.
Amara is described to be a stoic woman, notably very quiet and often coming off as disinterested or threatening due in part to her large frame, glowing emerald green eyes and imposing height. She doesn’t say much and her default expression seems neutral at best, frowning at worst.
The truth is, deep down, she’s a gentle soul and very kind to most. She’s troubled, but she means well and loves animals, even adopting two as pets.
She’s generally rather patient, but there are times when she shows signs of impatience, notably in regards to fights if the Opponent chooses to rant and monologue. It’s there she takes it as an opportunity to immediately start fighting.
The way Amara fights is primarily very grapple focused, preferring to get close and throw her opposition around, slam them and effectively toss them like ragdolls.

Song Recommendation: Tides of War by Blind Guardian
Undoubtedly there are many Metal songs that I could wholeheartedly recommend for a multitude of purposes. This one however, I'm just recommending for the sake of it being really good.
Tides of War is a bonus track off of their album "Nightfall in Middle Earth," which is based on that of the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. More specifically it is from the 2018 re-release of the album.

Favorite Character Archetypes: The Wanderer
In my last post about character archetypes, I talked about Stoic Characters and why I think they're cool. Or at the very least I just rambled on about my favorite characters that fit the type, lmao.
So, here we are now, with another one. I'm going to start off by stating that these posts will now be titled "Favorite Character Archetypes: X Thing" since I feel it's more appropriate to do that than saying "One of my favorites." Now with that stated, let's talk about another one: The Wanderer.
Also known as The Drifter, The Explorer, The Adventurer.
In Some Cases, they're also The Fugitive.
What are some known traits about these characters?
Effectively they're the people who're most likely bouncing from one place to another, to another, to another. Their reasons tend to vary as to why exactly, but generally it's because they want to/have to, because they want to fulfill some purpose in their lives.
They can be seen as mysterious, sometimes even elusive. They're independent folk who keep to themselves and thus come off as anti-social at times, even if they do mean well.
Ultimately, by the end of their respective stories, the Wanderer will have generally settled down and they will have their goals completed.
Examples of a Wanderer are as follows:
Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star)
Ryu (Street Fighter)
Link (The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask)
Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Series)
The Doctor (Doctor Who)
Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk (Marvel Comics)
Each of these characters have their own general reasons for why they're always on the move, never stopping to settle down.
Kenshiro travels the wastelands to not only just search for his fiancée, but for a myriad of other reasons as well.
Ryu travels the world to seek out strong opponents and constantly improve himself until he feels confident in saying that he has truly become a master martial artist.
The Hero of Time initially set out on a quest that transcended time to do battle with evil, but then he left Hyrule to look for his closest friend and ended up becoming intertwined in a battle to save the land of Termina from destruction, visiting its four regions and aiding the inhabitants of those regions.
Sonic has quite humbly admitted that he's just a guy who loves adventure. Even if he's saved the day, he's already got a foot out the door and springing into the next adventure.
The Doctor, across numerous incarnations, has managed to amass goodness knows how many allies and has traveled through all kinds of worlds, dimensions, timelines and more. (Admittedly I also never watched Doctor Who, so this knowledge is just from what I've read about the series; Other than that, I'm not that interested in it, sorry...)
Bruce Banner is a fugitive, on the run from the Military (or other organizations) after being bombarded with Gamma Radiation and transforming into The Incredible Hulk. Though most appearances now have largely moved past this aspect or downplay it, it still formed the basis for a lot of storylines involving the character.
So Why do I like this archetype so much?
Truthfully, I think it's a pretty cool type of character, one that leads into all kinds of possibilities for storytelling. There's a sense of mystery to these characters, wondering why they're always moving from one place to the next. There's a sense of urgency in some cases.
Sometimes it's just pure fun to see what kind of scenarios they might get into next.
Some writers might use a wanderer as an excuse to tell the story of the world around them. Others might use them as a central character and paint them as this mysterious rebel who's drifted into town and will end up shaking the foundations of everything while just trying to get on by.
Simply put, they're incredibly versatile and I'd honestly encourage coming up with a character like this. See what you can do with 'em, ask yourself what their motivations are, picture how they might look, what they're capable of, that kinda stuff.

Thank you so much for the tag @iamanonniemouse! :D I actually never heard of this before so it'd be fun for me to give it a go!
Favorite color: As you can see from my username, green! And also pink. If you ever got inside my room you know you'll find a lot of stuff that's either green or pink.
Currently reading: The Nolan Variations: The Movies, Mysteries, and Marvels of Christopher Nolan written by Tom Shone. The book is about going deep down into Nolan's films, such as; discussing about his process on filmmaking, studying his signature themes, going thru' a little bit of his backstory, and so much much. Even though I'm not even halfway thru' the book yet, I've been enjoying it so far! I gotta be honest, I don't really read non-fiction or biography books—but this one got me hooked. I'm a big fan of Chris Nolan's work and after hearing about this book, I just gotta buy it and read it. And it was worth it.
Last song: Troye Sivan — Angel Baby. A few days ago my friend sent me this song. And ever since then, I couldn't stop listening to it. For me, this is the kind of song you can't help but to imagine fictional scenarios you know you won't experience :)
Last movie: Sooo I think I'm gonna put this in two categories!
Last newest movie: Dune (2021). My mom and I went to the theaters a few weeks ago to see this movie. And I think this is like the first movie I ever saw in theaters after being stuck in quarantine i didn't get to watch tenet in theaters which is really sad. Unfortunately, the place we went to wasn't really good... The screen was too dark and I was too distracted by that, I couldn't really focus and it sucks 'cuz the visuals of this movie is actually so damn good!
Last re-watch: Ocean's Eleven (2001). I'm a sucker for this fandom. I always find myself re-watching Ocean's Trilogy and Inception (2010) nonstop to the point where my brother always call me out and couldn't handle it anymore.
Last series: I think it was Stranger Things! I'm late to this fandom, like really late. If it wasn't because of my cousin, I wouldn't have watched this series in the first place.
Currently craving: Some drinks. Weather it's a glass of milkshake, a boba, or just a simple cup of hot chocolate... I want 'em :/
Tea of coffee: Tea. To be honest, I don't mind drinking coffee. But if I had to choose, I prefer tea.

Woop-de-doo, it's Lord Scarlet stuff part 2
This was a post I planned on making WAY sooner, but I accidentally lost the original draft so I didn't even bother to try doing it gain until recently. And just now something happened that changed everything; and I mean what both DID and DIDN'T automatically give me the right to post this. I almost deleted my first post at that, and here's why:
In the first post, I mentioned that when I initially found out Vic was lying to me, I was quiet about it and just stopped talking to her out of fear, and then when I asked for help on what to do I was told to leave without a word. I don't think that was entirely the right thing to do in the long run, because it may have been the easiest way out but I'm better off with proper closure.
And the thoughts she left me scarred with never left my head. Time and time again, I'd find myself crying myself to sleep again at the thought of Brock forced to hide romantic feelings for Master Frown and not know who he was anymore while Frown was left unaware and in love with someone else, even if it wasn't Lord Scarlet.
And the pain sometimes came with a want to confront Vic one last time and open up to her about how I wasn't blind anymore, and how much she really hurt me. But I, again, wass scared she wouldn't care and would cut me off.
So when the pain got worse, I did what any coward would do: tell everyone else about my pain.
Now I DID tell friends of mine other than the Unikitty Amino staff about what happened, and they were all sympathetic and understanding about it. But then I told almost everyone, and then made my vent post on here (as well as Wattpad). As much as I wouldn't want to call them call out posts, they might as well have been. I didn't want people to harass Vic and make her mad...but at the same time I kinda did. I was too scared to face her that I was hoping that someone would do it for me. I even tagged accounts of Vic's. Not cool of me at all.
Now the Tumblr and Wattpad posts got me pretty much more of the same: sympathy, and acceptance that I had moved on. No one came after Vic but we could still agree that none of her actions were justified (I even got @careeningle's attention...sorry about the aneurysm)
Now comes the next important thing that happened, because I mentioned @friffinx kinda being responsible for me getting back to the Lord Scarlet Amino to write the message that I did. In it, I said that after I sent the message I did I would leave the Amino again & for good.
Well...I lied. I still checked in every day for the same reason I started venting: I kinda wanted Vic to see my message. Even if she'd ban me, I wanted to see if she'd ever notice my message. And that would've been the end of it if it wasn't for Brook.
I briefly mentioned Brook in the last post. She was another OC of Vic's, and was exactly to Brock what Lord Scarlet was to Master Frown; a carbon copy love interest. Except Lord Scarlet was far more developed and drawn & written about more. Brook didn't even really have a distinct personality, she was a girl Brock and that was it. But with reptilian overlord eyes. (To be fair, Vic drew Brock like that sometimes too)
(I didn't include Vic's art unless it was in chat bgs or whatever in the last post, but for the sake of referencing/proving a point, this is what Brook looks like)
No one really paid attention to her for the longest time. She was there in the fanfics because according to Vic, "Scarlet needed a friend." And like I said in the first post, Brook wasn't said to be canon so I never found a reason to really care for her. Plus I can only recall someone giving Vic fanart with her, and it was with Scarlet (@plastic-papercuts made it, go follow her she's gr8).
But then one day, for some reason, something in me clicked. I actually thought of a story idea for her. Somehow this bland cutout of a character had potential in my eyes, and I weirdly started liking her because of it. She suddenly felt...more real. I got pretty invested in my idea and newfound interpretation of Brook, and describing it would make this post way longer than it is so if anyone asks about it, I'll probably make a whole other post about it.
Anyway, I came up with a little plan: draw out this idea in the form of a comic and post it to the Lord Scarlet Amino. And see if Vic gets suspicious and checks out my profile and then maybe bans me. It felt a bit better than total silence and she'd probably see that someone gave a crap about Brook after all.
So I started a new chat called "It's Brook" to share my progress with the other members of the Amino, which there weren't too many of but we had fun in it. It was basically me, @friffinx , @soapycocacola, @plastic-papercuts, and a few others who aren't on Tumblr (or at least don't think are) chatting about how awful Vic was and calling out her lazy art tactics like tracing and using assets/clips right from the show. And of course me sharing the comic progress I was making. Again, this doesn't make anything we did right but it felt good getting everything off our chests. We were like a secret rebellion against an absentee dictator. One time Vic came online as we were chatting and even viewed my profile, but nothing happened. And it stayed that way until I opened Amino up one morning. For those of you who don't have it, the menu shows all the communities you're in when you open the app, and all of mine were there except for the Lord Scarlet Amino. I assumed I must've been banned overnight. But I wasn't banned from Vic's other Amino so I commented on her wall on that one. For Vic's sake, I won't show how the conversation went (and I'll explain why at the end) but here's how it went:
Me: Did you ban me from the LS Amino?
Her: There was drama in one of the chat rooms and I'm not having it. I didn't want to do it and it's not a big deal It's just an amino and you're still on this one AM I RIGHT?
Me: Yes, but I assume you read my updated bio. As I hoped you would.
Her: Nope.
Me: Oh. But you know what? Ban me from here too for all I care, I feel like you deserve to know why I left and came back: *insert me finally telling her how I know she lied, that she hurt me, and what I did was wrong here*
Her: Lol ok be that person but keep in mind that I'm one of those people that doesn't gibe a fuck lol
And then she banned me from that Amino too before I could type and submit a fitting farewell reply.
At least I finally got all the built-up emotional pain out of me, but it did help me realize something important: we never really were friends. I wanted more of her content despite all her red flags as a person so I tried enduring them, thinking it'd be worth it, and she only kinda cared about me when I was being a yes man. She never kept any promises and didn't respect me the same way I did her. So I could at least feel confident knowing she most likely didn't care at all when I first left.
@friffinx and the others didn't get banned, though, and Friff even started another chat on the LS Amino called "It's Brook 2" where they talked more about Vic being a terrible person. And it didn't take long for her to shut that chat down too and ban everyone from it that time. Friff sent me screenshots of what happened next (which again, I'm not gonna show), where Vic basically had a meltdown. She changed her username to "Little Miss Guillotine", and made a post about her being "finished with the bushit". In it, she announced that she didn't even like Unikitty! anymore but was still gonna keep/use Lord Scarlet because she wanted to. The part that made my blood almost boil wasn't her views on the show, she's free to have her opinion and I couldn't care less about it. What DID was that she acknowledged that she lied the whole time because "she didn't care anymore" and said that it was "our faults for believing it in the first place" and that "we needed to grow up"/"stop brining it up"
Ooooh boy, victim blaming, my favortie...
Since then she changed the Lord Scarlet Amino's theme to make it about The Penguins of Madagacar (again, fine with me). Either way she was still a narcissist and I thought she'd, sadly, likely never change. And my friends and I all thought that was the end of it.
Until a few hours ago...
I was browsing the Unikitty Amino and saw a new member named BlueCat. Didn't think anything else of it until the user PMed me. And this is what happened:
I didn't know what to think other than "I thought this day would never come", I was that shaken. This was so left field-ish that what else could I do but believe her? It didn't even seem suspicious or like she was trying to be a suck up, that wasn't Vic at all.
But the one thing I knew I had to do was ban her because even if she meant well and did it for the right(?) reasons, but I still asked if I should in the staff chat. @girly-glorious (also amazing so pls check her out :D) told me that yes, it was ban evasion so since I'm a leader too now I could to it on my own. But I knew I had to message Vic first and Girly told me to be careful, so this is what I sent:
And then I banned her, the end (not really)
Now I don't understand how or why this sudden behavior change happened but I don't know if I should question it in case it's personal. But again, I at least want to believe that she's really being genuine and had a change of heart because never in a million years could I imagine her being this mature. Again, she didn't demand that I forgive me or probably even expect me to. But the message still does leave me feeling sorry for her.
Now I thought that was the real end of it until I see the Penguins of Madagascar/old Lord Scarlet Amino on my sideboard.
She unbanned me.
Now I don't know where we'll go from here, if anywhere. I'm not too sure if I can really let my guard down around someone who hurt me so badly just in case she does it again. So I may not talk to her again, but if she really asks something from me, I might try and build up courage to ask her more about how she came to apologizing to me. Plus she followed me on Wattpad too.
But this is why I didn't show our conversation right before my ban or her "f.u." posts. Because I don't want people seeing more of Vic's past behavior and possibly embarrassing her about it if she ever sees this. But that's kinda why I felt like it was 100% necessary to finally make a sequel post in the end; I'm hoping people at least acknowledge Vic has changed and don't keep thinking about based on what I shared out of attempts to gain sympathy like a crybaby.
So before I go: PLEASE, DON'T GO AFTER OR HARASS VIC. I KNOW YOU PROBABLY WON'T, BUT THIS IS SERIOUS. ALL THE PROBLEMATIC LORD SCARLET DRAMA IS STUFF OF THE PAST AND NEITHER OF US WANT TO KEEP LOOKING BACK ON IT.

Long Distance Relationships
So you want to know more about long distance relationships...
Well, for starters, they’re not easy. They take a lot of work, diligence, time commitments, compromising, and patience. They test you in many ways, and sometimes leave you feeling alone even though you have someone.
Long distance relationships are not for everyone, and they certainly are not something to toy with, because a partners feelings are on the line. Take me and Princess for example: Princess needs that one on one relationship, the closeness, the physical touch, the sexual release of being a submissive for a dom in person. However she is also willing to make a several hour drive to see her partner, no matter the circumstances.
Baby on the other hand, is willing to have a long distance relationship (or in her current situation a long distance queer-platonic relationship), and work with her dom in order to have that bond even though the distance does not always physical meetings.
How do I know a long distance relationship is right for me, then?
Answer me this:
Are you fully prepared to go months, or maybe even a year or more without physically being near your partner?
Can you handle when they are unavailable, that you can’t always talk to them?
Do you have the time, or are you willing to make time even if your day is absolutely overflowing with tasks, to talk to them and love them and encourage them?
Do you have the discipline to save money for gas, plane tickets, and hotel rooms just to see them for a few hours or if you’re lucky a few days?
Can you go long amounts of time and remain loyal to them emotionally, mentally, physically, and sexually?
Are you able to handle not being able to touch them, hold their hand, kiss their lips, play with their hair, and overall do what every other couple does?
I think I can do all those things... So what do I do?
You have a few options depending on your current situation. Maybe you’re talking to a potential dom, and you want to test the waters. Maybe you’re a single sub and you want to be actively searching. Maybe you want to be involved in the community and not worry about it. Regardless, here are a few tips for any circumstance you may be in.
1. I’m single, I like it, I just want to freely express my kinky side.
Wonderful! You know what you want and there’s a simple answer to this:
Munches. Play parties. Teaching opportunities.
Basically, there’s a website called Fetlife that has an “Events” page that shows any and all kinky events in your area. Looking for a rope class? They’ve got the link. Maybe you want to play? There’s the info on Fet. A casual pizza place munch? You bet!
By getting out into your local community, you can build up your knowledge and express yourself freely, without worrying about a commitment.
2. I want to be actively searching for a dom, but like, how??
Have no fear, Baby is here! I’ve used essentially the majority of platforms available to us kinksters to seek out true doms who want to have a great relationship with a sub. You name it, I’ve tried it: Tinder, Fet, Tumblr matchmaking blogs, straight up following doms and trying to court them (sorry GPD lolz).
Here are my tried and true reviews:
Tinder: Listen, you’re literally gonna get like 500+ fuckboys. That’s what Tinder is for. HOWEVER!! I have a hack to weed through them. Simply put a point of outside contact that isn’t your phone number (and a platform where you can block people). I use kik, so I simply put my kik username in my bio. If they’re really looking at each person individually, they’ll contact you. Most of the guys I get are total douchebags, yes, but don’t be afraid of that block button.
But, I did find Daddy through kik. He messaged me by chance when I wasn’t even looking for a dom, and we clicked, and a whole year later here we are still in a healthy cg/l dynamic with each other.
Fetlife: Basically Tinder for guys who want to be called “daddy”. You’re gonna get weirder dudes on here, but you have a bit higher of a chance to find a suitable dom. Princess found the dom she is in a dynamic with through Fet, then Tinder, then Bumble, and now they’re officially a thing.
Tumblr Matchmaking Blogs: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE!! The only good thing that comes from these blogs is there’s a bunch of pedophiles in one place to automatically report and block. There might be one or two diamonds in the rough, but trust me it’s not worth it. It’s mostly underage children and creepy old dudes. Just report the blogs and move on.
Tumblr Dom Blogs: These can be good, if you’re able to identify the real ones from the fake ones. A ton of “dominants” run these, and very few are actually in the community with good intentions. I’ve been looking for 3 years and I’ve only found a handful of good blogs ( @mistersbeard / @lovemysub are my favorites because they’re educational and fun). So, I mean, you can talk to doms on Tumblr, sure, but be careful and know how to identify them first.
Most Importantly: DO. NOT. GO. LOOKING. FOR. A. DOM. IF. YOU’RE. A. NEW. SUB.
I cannot stress this enough, and if you’re like me you’ll be like “lolz, literally nothing will happen, I’m a smart cookie, I can handle-” No. Seriously, this spells trouble and it will leave you a hurt little subby in the end. Learn, grow, gain experience in a safe environment, don’t think the BDSM porn is accurate (it’s not), practice consent, use safewords, and above all don’t rush into anything. A d/s relationship takes time and energy, put in a ton of both before even calling anything a relationship.
3. I have someone I’m considering to be my dom, but I don’t know how to approach it.
Something I learned that has saved me a ton of grief, is to use the consideration phase to your advantage. Essentially, don’t commit, but play into the dynamic between the person you’re considering.
Let’s say you need some help drinking more water. Talk to the dom you’re interested in about introducing a rule to better yourself. Discuss every detail of it. How much water? How many times a day? What if you don’t meet the quota? What if you break the rule and have coffee? Etc. Etc. Etc. Establish a couple low level punishments if that’s your thing. Then when you’re both comfortable, add another rule, add some rewards, add some more dynamics.
When you both feel like you want to commit a couple months, or even years, later, go for it.
A consideration phase makes everything less stressful. There’s no full submission yet unless you choose it. It’s all in your control, which it always should be, and you can shut it all down with the snap of a finger if you don’t feel comfortable.
The most important unspoken rules of LDR’s:
1. Make time for one another. Don’t send just a couple quick texts a day, a goodnight video, and call it good. Actually make time, even if you’re walking the dog or making dinner, to share little tidbits and make it feel like you’re together.
2. Send everything! Pictures, videos, emojis, gifs, stickers. Send a letter, and email, video chat, plan a day trip (if the proximity allows). Send them things that remind you of them. Discuss big things, small things, and in-between things. Make each other feel like you’re right there, but also maintain the responsibility you have to maintain.
3. Things can be sexual, or not, it’s your control. Feeling pressured to send some tit pics? Stand your ground and refuse. Feeling frisky and want to play? Discuss it and see if you can both do so/are comfortable.
4. It’s hard. Like, really hard. You love this other being so much and you just want to be near them and give them the world and that’s not always possible. But cherish every little second you get to spend with them, in person or online.
5. Be patient, and appreciate everything you give and receive. What you have is special, and it should be treated as such. It’s not everyday that you build a unique bond with someone.
Finally, a word from Daddy A:
It strengthens the emotional and mental sides greatly, but the lack of contact does suck. Essentially, a sub can be with another dominant to fulfill that, if their main is alright with it, but it goes beyond sexual release, as some may assume when looking at any format of bdsm.
The LG/DD dynamic has a bigger focus on protection and comfort by and large. We wish for our submissives to be perfectly fine with us, and thus, give us their submission. In turn, we provide the support, the nurturing and protection they desire.
Sexuality isn't inherently a part of the dynamic, but once you've become so familiar with someone, it's hard to separate into something more casual. You don't want to be spanked, you want to be spanked by your dominant.
How I see it, the distance definitely makes the bond so much stronger, leading to when you finally meet in person being a grand thing. However, it does not mean it's for everyone. You gotta be ready for the stretches of time, the worry, the anxiety and personal issues. Patience is big and openness is necessary.
On top of that, when you do possibly meet, be ready for it to not be a scene right away. Sometimes it'll just be grabbing lunch, maybe something tame where you aren't always in the head space. But, sometimes that's enough; just that, whatever it is, is what you both need to reassure that it's real and can grow. It won't be a sexual release, but both can breathe easier.
Expectations have to be tempered. Maybe you don't have a private place, maybe someone is nervous.
Even without it being a scene, the two could be huge dorks and walk past each other at a theme park despite dying to be beside the other.
