Healing:
Bex is a skilled healer. Should you need medical attention, not only is he a very good doctor but he also doesn’t charge for his services. He is familiar with both aetherical and traditional medicine, including having a vast knowledge of alchemy. He has a clinic in the Lavender Beds, located within the Drunken Moogle pub and is happy to see anyone, even without an appointment.
Family:
Bex’s family, the Nelhahs, are fairly well-known in the alchemy trade business. Bexa, Bex’li’s mum, is a successful alchemist selling everything from cosmetics, hairdyes, and aphrodesiacs, to medicines and potions. While not the leader of this company, Nelhah Brand Alchemy, he is known to work with his mother and almost rival her in his alchemical skills.
Conjurer’s Guild:
Though a red mage now, Bex’li’s initial training was with the conjurer’s guild and he still has strong connections there, often taking on students and interns from the guild to work in his clinic.
Sociable Guy!:
Bex’li is an outspoken, kind guy. He is absolutely happy to talk to anyone about anything. Always looking to meet new people and make new friends, if you can’t figure out a hook that works for you, Bex’li can always just come up and start chatting. He enjoys going to pubs, restaurants, clubs, and shops and travels often with his job as a healer and alchemist. He can be nearly anywhere! Just let me know and we’ll work something out.
What I’m looking for  ––– –
Anything! Interaction! Friends, enemies, rivals, romance, mystery, intrigue, colleagues, pre-established relationships. Anything! I RP all types of genre, including mature themes, casual scenes, erotic, funny, violent, lighthearted, long term development, one-offs, fighting. Pretty much anything as long as it comes organically. I am happy to go RP one on one, but I also adore going to RP events in the community, especially club nights and themed social events.
OOC  ––– –
Hello! I’m Bex. I live in the UK, and am co-owner and co-founder of the Drunken Moogle FC. Bex’li here is my baby. My first character in ARR that I made in 2013. He’s been around forever and it’s possible you might’ve seen me idling somewhere (I do that a lot). I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment (especially with the plague going on) and I’d really like Bex’li to get some new friends. I’m available to RP nearly any time at the moment and though my timezone is GMT, I do regularly stay up to attend RP during north american times.  I am WELL over 18 and expect my RP partners to also be over 18.  I don’t mind server hopping, though I’m located on Balmung.

Additional Information –––-
SMOKING HABIT: never / sometimes / frequently / to excess DRUGS: never / sometimes / frequently / to excess ALCOHOL: never / sometimes / frequently / to excess

Possible Hooks –––-
Highly Skilled Gegenji Smith - Member of the Gegenji family, which has some fame around Yanxia, Chachanji is extremely skilled at his craft. While he focuses mainly on crafting armor to protect others, he is also able to craft tools, perform all sorts of repairs and maintenance and - should he be properly swayed and convinced to do so - craft very powerful weaponry.
(It should be noted that due to his pacifistic nature, getting him to make or improve weaponry will require a high degree of trust with the individual.)
Seneschal of House Dentra - Through a strange rite of initiation, Chachanji is now the current head of a minor Ul’dahn noble house. House Dentra is most notable for also being the owner of a Smelting Guild, owning various facilities and mines scattered across Eorzea. They also help staff the satellite facility “Three Ingot Outlet” (named after the aforementioned initiation) that opens during the Sultana’s Breath Shopping Arcade.
Mr. Eorzea/”Champion” Chachan - Chachanji has been crowned the victor in two competitions - the Mr. Eorzea competition and the Grindstone. While he has only won each once, these victories somehow remain decently well known - likely due to how much it flusters him - with the latter in no small part due to the sweetwater and fruit juice drink named after him at the Quicksand. Despite this he still tends to pop by the Grindstone itself now and then as either a spectator or a participant for training purposes.
Free Paladin of Ul’dah - While he doesn’t directly work with the Sultansworn, Chachanji has been ordained a proper Free Paladin of Ul’dah by one Coatleque Crofte. He does often take up various levequests to help people under that title, and - more commonly - serves as a regular resource for the Sultansworn to have their regalia repaired and refitted. He also assists the Flames in a similar capacity, so anyone with connections with either group might have seen or heard of the little smith.
Source or First - Chachan is currently on the Source but I do have plans in mind for Chachan to end up stuck on the First thanks to the antics of a Pixie named Gria Gai - and possibly need of help and/or a way back home! When it happens is still up in the air (and probably can be shifted around if needed), but it does mean Chachan could potentially encountered in either Shard. And even if Chachan is still on the Source, he has a Reflection on the First that is still plenty available to be interacted with.
What I’m Looking for ––––
Friends - Chachan is always one to make new friends, even if they seem the sort that most might not give a fair shake to. From Garleans to half-voidsent, if you seem like a decent enough person, he’ll probably be willing to at least try!
Customers - As a skilled smith, it’s nice to actually have Chachan doing his job via RP rather than just saying he does. This extends from armorcraft to repair to possibly even serving a potential source of work at one of House Dentra’s facilities or mines.
Helping People - Chachan likes trying to help people out, so whether for one-shots or in longer arcs, getting to have the little guy help out someone in need would be pretty neat. Just lemme know what the general idea is and we can see if the floofy-haired dork can help out in it!
RP in General - Slice of life, RP events, arcs. Basically I’m just looking to interact more with the various interesting people, places, and occurrences that take place in the world of FFXIV! It’s part of my goal in Shadowbringers to really get Chachan out there a lot more.
Tumblr media
OOCly, I am ––––
A contract programmer who is free most evenings, and frequently looking for someone to RP with, just hang out, or even go flail around in Overwatch. Most of my evenings and weekends tend to be open, so I’m looking to fill them with SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.
I will warn up front that I’m the sort that doesn’t like to idle around too much, however. So, if I don’t have anything planned for the day, I’ll often try to entertain myself doing something - whether it be leveling Jobs or Trusts or what-have-you. The thing to keep in mind is that these are usually just my way to waste time, and I would often prefer to do something like RP instead! So please feel free to poke me via /tells or Discord or whatever, even if it looks like I’m busy. I will definitely let you know if I am, but more likely I’ll totally drop whatever I’m doing for something far more fun - like RPing with you!
As for the RP itself... I’m open to try most things within reason. Overly dark or violent themes will likely need to be okayed first (I’m not against them but Chachan’s a cheerful, friendly, gentle sort and that can clash with very gritty stories sometimes!), but I’m willing to give a lot of more lore-bendy ideas and plots a shot if you can sell me on it! I am also open for RP/chatting both in-game proper as well as over Discord (Hamelin#0069).
Tumblr media
Additional Plot Hook: Gojirafell ––––
Chachanji - due to a sort of monkey’s paw situation involving a strange snake oil salesman and a modified Gobbielixir potion - has gained the ability to pull an Apache Chief or Ultraman and become quite large. How large is dependent on how much aether he intakes - and thus something he has to watch out for. Overhealing, anything with ether-like properties, and even the aether that Primals use when they seek to temper (which oddly enough makes him immune to that effect) will cause this to happen whether he likes it or not. As such, he tries to avoid situations where the very large cat might be let out of the bag.
This is kept under a Read More mostly because it is a Plot Hook that could fall outside people’s comfort zones where it comes to lore-bending and personal head-canons. As such, it’s something that only will be a Thing in situations where it is clearly identified that it is being used and, more importantly, that everyone involved is okay with it. Otherwise, it will rarely - if ever - be directly alluded to or even referenced. After all, it’s something Chachan would be trying to keep secret about in either case!
As for how someone might come across this odd trait, the events of his trip to Kugane - the rescue of the sinking ship specifically - resulted in a drunken captain and crew spouting tales of a sea giant that rescued them. These were overheard by a Kugane writer and have become the basis of a series of Doman stories and picture books. Not to mention the events of the recently completed Kyodai Hero arc could provide further ways!
Or we could probably manage to manufacture a scene where the secret slips - either just slip of the tongue or witnessing the Gojirafell himself! Especially for any First RP as the Pixie that abducted him is well aware of his ability and gets an absolute kick out of messing with him with it. Both to embarrass him and to glamour his outfit to show off her burgeoning fashion sense on such a sizable canvas (Yes, she takes some cues from Tomoyo from Cardcaptor Sakura)!

OC Asks 3. How did you choose their name?
Also asked by @captainderyn
Tumblr media
Hahahahaha… okay, the short answer?: I’m an idiot. I didn’t realize I was going to love this game or this character as much as I did.
The long answer, well, I’ve alluded to it once or twice in the past, but I guess I should actually delve into it for real. But under a cut, because it’s probably going to get long.
I’m not sure if this should come with any kind of warning, but it’s kind of long and does delve into some personal stuff. So hopefully that doesn’t bother anyone!
Okay, so, when I first heard about this game in 2011, I had been out of fandom for several years, and had played a few MMOs here and there, but never really got into them for very long, mostly because I got bored very quickly with how repetitive they were. And then I read about this supposedly story and character-driven MMO, and I was intrigued. I was talking to my sister-in-law at the time about it, and ultimately realized I’d never be able to play because I didn’t have a PC capable of running it, and I was heavily into debt because of medical issues, to the point where I was having a difficult time affording my car payment, mortgage, and groceries.
So then Christmas rolls around, and my family has just about finished all of the presents when my brother and his wife go and bring in a special gift they’d been working on for several months: a frankensteined gaming PC that had one game installed on it, with several months of a subscription pre-paid: Star Wars the Old Republic
Needless to say, I was kind of bawling because no one had ever done something that nice to me before. And like? It’s kind of hard to describe what that previous year had been like without having a long, long side story but… it was difficult. It kind of sounds melodramatic to say it was hellish, but looking back on it? It kind of was. I was barely doing anything besides surviving, much less having fun. And here my sister-in-law had actually listened to a one-off conversation about how I was interested in this game but probably would never be able to play it, and like… took it upon herself to make that happen.
So of course the first thing I do is hook up my brand FrankenPC, load up the only game on it, and create a character! But it’s a MMO – and even though it’s billed on being story and character-based, I kind of don’t really believe it? Or at least don’t think my character is going to matter. So I do what I did with every other MMO, I used my online nickname to make a character (Greyias) so my friends can recognize me if they’re in-game, create a character that vaguely looks like me, and get to adventuring!
The last name came when they rolled out legacies, and hey, I used “Highwind” for my short-lived Pirates of the Caribbean MMO toon. It’s also the last name for one of the main characters in my abandoned steampunk novel series, but that’s another story for another time.
(And then after about three days of learning the mechancis, re-roll said character on a different server, because OOPS! That wasn’t the server my brother and sister-in-law had started their guild on. She looked a little less like me this time. Probably should have changed the name, but I just wanted to see how the story turned out and eventually quest with my fam)
I realized my mistake around Coruscant when Kira joined up as a companion and I went “…uh oh.”
Because I’ve started to recognize I get a certain feeling when I like something, really like something to the point when I get… ideas. Story ideas. Character conversations and wondering “what if”. Of course, this is still in the open beta period, the game hasn’t even launched yet, there’s still long queues to log in and the grind is real, and I just want to see where this story is going and what Darth Angral is going to do, and why is this character so damn sincere and genuine and I don’t like characters that are the literal embodiment of sunshine, I like snarky snarksters and–oh. No I actually do like the Sunshine Jedi. A lot.
Now, a few of you may be like “I really don’t see what the problem is” – this is kind of an old school thing, and something that seems to have thankfully gotten a lot of pushback in the time since I had left fandom and the time since I rejoined it, and that is: The Dreaded Mary Sue
From about the time I had started writing fic when I was in my early teens and onwards it had been drilled into my head that Mary Sues were a bad thing. And self-inserts were worse. Especially if they were *gasp* FEMALE CHARACTERS. (We can’t have those girls having characters they identify with now, can we?) And like, those very relevant discussions aside, I was kind of… ashamed? That I had made a self-insert without realizing it? Despite the fact that like, the character that resulted from my playthrough was very much not me. Like, a significantly different person.
But I was starting to get story ideas and snatches of character bits, and like, I hadn’t written in so long, I hadn’t been inspired in so long. And honestly I just loved this little do-gooder goober, in all of her naive, happy-go-lucky glory. As well as her red-headed sidekick and this amazing dynamic that I had only really seen depicted between male characters previously. And so I promised myself if I got a story idea, I’d write it out and… just change Grey’s name to something else. So no one would know my secret crime, and I would be free, freeeee to scribble in the margins of canon.
It was a great plan, except, I had been playing with subtitles for the game on, so every time Grey would speak, her name would appear above it. And wouldn’t you know? I associated that name with that face, and well, I didn’t get that story idea yet, so it was. Fine I tell you. FINE.
Tumblr media
I kept playing the game. In fact, I played the game a lot in the middle part of 2012, because wouldn’t you know? I had another round of medical issues that put me on short term disability and I actually had to retrain my body to sit in a chair for long periods of time (look, it’s a really long story, and this post is long enough as it is). So let’s just say… I got really attached to my little Sunshine Jedi who could go out and save the galaxy when I could barely walk a hundred feet.
And continued to play it off and on over the following years, until finally, finally the devs removed the grind wall in preparation for KotFE, and I was able to finish the Jedi Knight storyline and see where her story ended up. Then I played the next expansion on Makeb. Which was fun. Then I made the mistake that we all know I was eventually going to make: I played Shadow of Revan.
And met Theron fucking Shan. And my perfect little Jedi suddenly fell in love and oh crap. I’m escaping out of cutscenes to rewatch them. Like rewatching them an absurd amount of times. And as I’m going to sleep I’m like, getting entire bits of narration and brand new scenes and fic ideas in my head, and oh god. It finally happened. I try and resist the pull, but I play up through KotFE and I have no more story to stall any more. And the snippets just keep lulling me to sleep every night and… okay.
I probably need to rename this character now. Like, there’s an actual ability to do that in-game so I should get to it. Chop chop.
Nothing works. Nothing at all works. This should not be that hard, she can have any name, no one will know. Why can’t I think of a different name? I go to every single name site known to man, and none of them are her. Besides the fact, that’s her name, and I’m starting to feel kind of guilty for taking it away from her. Poor girl has been through so much in canon and now I’m taking away her name? What kind of monster am I? Okay, fine. I roll up a different Knight during the Dark vs Light event, gave that one an actual name that was not my online writer name just to see if I could trick my brain into writing about them.
Nope.
Maybe I’ll change my online name? “Let her keep the name Grey and I can just have a different name and…” – at this point I’m starting to realize I might be getting slightly neurotic over this whole thing.
Completely annoyed with myself for spending nearly a year trying to come up with a new name I’m starting to get desperate, thinking up ways to maybe just… write around it and not let people know her name until they maybe fall in love with her and hopefully just forget how it’s weird. That can work right? Okay, whatever at least I’m writing and it’s shutting these two up, and it’s all going good for several stories in and then suddenly I get to a scene that has more than one female character and I’m like “Shit… the jig is up.”
Meanwhile, I’ve started up a Dragon Age Origins playthrough, and like a dumbass, DO THE EXACT SAME THING with a female Cousland, and start whining to poor @for-the-flail on Twitter, on my fainting couch about how I can never write this character’s name because I named her after myself, and, bless her heart, she’s just like: “…um. Why?”
And I’m like “Because… we share a name… and that’s weird for people…?”
She goes “It’s not that weird. Why don’t you just write your stories? People will like them or not.”
And sheepishly, I realized she was right, and stopped being so diligent about hiding poor Grey’s name, and eventually, because you are all such lovely and encouraging people, eventually embraced it. (Come to think of it, I never did wind up writing about poor Cousland!Grey. Oops.)
So! That’s the long and ramble story of how she got her name and why it never changed despite my best efforts.
In summary: I’m an idiot 🤷‍♀️ but I think you guys love me anyway?

22- One amazing experience you had because of roleplaying?
Oh boy, well there’s a few experience that has happened because of roleplaying; actually many experiences that have happened because of roleplaying. There’s been experiences that had an immediate joy and excitement, there’s been ones that I was not aware of until later, and ones that took years to really understand the benefit of what was going on, and all because of roleplaying.
The first one that pops into my head was meeting my favorite (and who I deemed my best) friend @divergent-lines, but there’s no story too that one. No grit. No aw-inspiring event. It was, actually, a product of a roleplay during the slow moments where not much was going on; recruitment was strong, and from it, I meet @divergent-lines which blossomed into my second longest friend relationship I’ve had in my life.
Thinking further, a little deeper, sorting all these amazing events and writing them out on paper, the one that was most amazing was a server wide war that I participated in.
Yes. I’ve never seen anything like it before, and it was impromptu; it wasn’t planned, no guilds came together and talked about it. It was literally one guy really didn’t like the big guild on the server, made his own guild (and I ended up joining that one), and we started attacking their members ICly, with no consent, and everyone had a great time.
(Disclaimer) Before moving forward, I would like to state that the rules for this server were much different than the rules on WRA. The community was tighter-knit, this server was not a giant community as WRA was/is, so those who did god-modded, and those that weren’t willing to cooperate when things dropped to ooc, were easily passed around to all the major guilds and rpers.
There was one giant guild, a bunch of smaller guilds, and most of the RP wasn’t in guild but outside of the guilds- all the guilds interacted with each other, drama still occurred, but everyone saw it, nothing was hidden, and that was helped by smaller guilds who spied on the community and reported on an IC (mostly) and occasional OOC when things were getting out of hand. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked well enough that something like an impromptu server wide war occurred and lasted for 3 months of real life time and everyone departed no worse for wear and in fact kept the story going on a smaller scale.
I love telling this story honestly (and its my birthday so excuse me for being even more excited of getting to tell this story), so sit down and
I had just started playing WoW on an RP Terms.
All my PvE and PvP guilds/friends had left the game and I was left to decide if I should continue or quit; at the time, the game wasn’t necessarily interesting to me. So I decided, why not try RP in a game? I had about five years, or less, experience in forum RP, so what was different? (so much)
I ended up choosing Wrymrest Accord- Horde and Ravenholdt- Alliance. I decided that whichever character I got RP on first, would be the server I played on and the race. I was always Horde. I never played Alliance. So I started out on Horde. After a time, I ended up trying the Alliance race out, within an hour I had joined a guild. Amborisal Vanguard.
Nothing happened at first, naturally, the guild master was elusive, but he had set up a guild website with requirements which were all PvP required; at that time, and as mentioned before, I was a PvPer and did occasional PvE, so these requirements weren’t much of an issue. So, as I waited for RP to occur, I gave horde another chance to woo me. It never got the chance.
Within a month, the guild master returned. Like a good-storyteller he was (but not necessarily a good person), he didn’t tell people what his goals or plans were. He treated us like storybook characters with our own desires and wants and responded to them accordingly. I played a rogue character, as my social anxiety decided that would be the best class to pick in order to watch and have little reason to interact if I choose too. So, wanting to know who this guild master is, how RP guilds worked, so on and so forth, I had a habit of ….spying. Little did I know this was perfectly a-okey in RP and I was doing it all right (at least for this server, because this server was okay with no consent, in fact, if you asked for consent your story was derailed and ruined. You could use any trick in the game to find people as long as you had a good IC reason on how you found them using the /who function. But that was the easy part. I tell you. If you’ve never tried to find someone in the blasteds land, you haven’t yet learned how to be rogue. That place has soooo many hide-holes that the map doesn’t show you, that sometimes its impossible to find someone even if you know where they located. Anyways tangent.)
As the guild grew, so too did I grow as an RPer, learning the tricks of the trade and so forth.
Then one fateful day, the guild master had an IC meeting and we were all told what was to come. We were going to bring down the biggest guild on the server.
And so, my first real mission begin. The first part of this amazing experience.
If I hadn’t told you two-hundred times yet, I was still new to RP. I had only been playing for about 3 months I believe. I was a baby. And yet, I was the only rogue. So, I was given the assignment to capture the guild master. Yes, a bold move. The first declaration of war we were going to do was too capture the guild master. And I had no clue how that was going to work.
So the plan was this:
Step 1: The guild master was going to take his officers too meet with the enemy officers in a declaration of peace treaty or the like.
Step 2: Me, and a small group of three, were to attack the IC Meeting of the enemy guild and kidnap the guild master, while this other meeting was taking place.
I was there, I scouted out, the plan was I would give the word when it was good to come and cause a little chaos.
Apparently the enemy officers decided ahead of time that they weren’t going to accept the proposal and as soon as the meeting started it ended. Just as I was getting prepared to attack, a mage summoned all the officers back.
I called it off, my underling-lings decided otherwise and charged head first. (little did I know at the time, but the guild master had told one of my underlings that if I was to chicken out, that they were to charge in and continue the plan).
I was on clean up crew now. All the smaller characters, and this server did have civilian rpers and this enemy guild was known for having them, were immediately teleport-ed away on an IC Level. The enemy officers, well, they were all max out level rogues, and they were ruthless.
I decided that in this chaos, I had a chance to go after the guild master. I did manage it, I did communicate on an OOC Level (my social anxiety kicked in), and they reassured me that it was perfectly okay as long as I was okay with any consequences. So this low lvl rogue, who had no experience in rping, the guild master allowed me to attack her, allowed a hit, but I was immediately welcomed by two rogues. It was my first RP combat, and there were no such things as rolls. Everyone free-emoted on this server, and I got my ass whooped, but not without impressing a few individuals.
I’ll give a quick summary. We were on a tower, the ground was a good twenty-thirty feet down. I managed to stay up for a solid minute, backpedaling crazy good moves, and then suddenly I got struck on the head. My character fell down. He tried to get up. He was kicked. Then as my character rolled, he got back up and as he tried to dodge, forgot were he was. My character fell off the lowest point of the tower, struck the wall, and landed unconscious on the ground; that was all me, that was no rolls telling me I lost, nobody whispering me that I should go unconscious, etc, etc.
Naturally the officers were impressed on an OOC level that they decided not to kill me (because this server will kill your character on an IC Level, and it was acceptable, and everyone was okay with it; i was okay with it.) I figured i would be killed. Little did I know, that wouldn’t make any sense. After-all, we couldn’t see guild name tags could we, and I wore no tabard. So how were they suppose to know who there enemy was? They captured me, waited for my character to wake up and interrogated me. The normal questions: “who sent you” speech.
I refused to answer.
I was actually trapped for about a week in real life. I couldn’t do much on an IC level. I couldn’t tell my guild master I was trapped, we didn’t have communication or mental communication, nothing of the like. So a week passes by and my guild master finally whispers me on an ooc level and goes “where are you at, why haven’t attended any meetings?”
I told him ooc what had happened.
His response was “oh shit,” and rallied a rescue team at that point.
the story goes on actually, there’s betrayal, love, blood, growth, and one last battle before this all ends.
And this is why I consider this roleplay experience to be my most amazing.
If you, or anyone else, wants to know the whole story though, feel free to ask me another question, I’ll give it a write up. Trust me, I love telling this story.
Thanks for the question

My time here is done.
Most anyone reading this that just stumbled upon it don’t know who I am, but those that do know me that got this link know me very well.
Hi, I’m known on Moon Guard as Neo Starstrider, Void Elf Hunter (High Elf Paladin in a previous life) though in the past I have gone by ‘The Doctor’ Andalian Morrison, Human Chronomancer and Illusionist best known for his time in Pyrebird Sodality. As well as Cillvia ‘The Fox’ Morrison, Human Rogue who climbed the ranks of the Melrony Crime Family to become its Underboss before stabbing Selvetore Melrony in the back (both IC and OOC, get to that in a bit.) and leaving to form her own company, Morrison Shipping and Trade, aka The Morrisons. But before that, I was simply Neo, a Human Paladin from Sargeras that raided and posted penis macros in trade chat.
Why am I writing all of this? Well, I’ve come to a turning point in my life where I have to start doing things a bit differently. And the thing I need to do different is cancel my WoW Subscription.
This is going to be a long story. So if you wish to keep reading, go ahead. If you wanna skip it and go straight to my reasoning for leaving, just go until you get to the break.
I was first introduced to WoW when I was in High School. I was having a get together at my house with some friends when one of them found my computer and began to download the game onto it. I asked him what that was and he said “This is World of Warcraft.” He let me create an Undead Warrior to play with for a bit. I enjoyed it quite a bit. But it wasn’t until that summer that I really got hooked onto that game.
Another friend of mine got me to play with him. This time I played a Night Elf Druid and boy oh boy was that a fun experience leveling. I only got him to level 12 before I stopped for a few months but it was still tons of fun! After a short break, I came back and made a Human Paladin on Sargeras known as Neotar. That same friend that was playing with me before made a Night Elf Hunter named Adremmalech and we both decided that we were going to get to max level with these characters no matter what.
We leveled and leveled and we both hit level 40 the day Burning Crusade was released. To celebrate our accomplishment, we ran our level 40 mounts all the way to the Exodar from Stormwind to check out the new Alliance city. Needless to say, it was super dope! But we weren’t done. We continued the Vanilla grind to level 60, stepped through the Dark Portal for the first time and were in absolute awe. What an experience it was to see that giant pit lord standing at the bottom of the stairs. The musical score blasting in our headphones. So much fun and great memories.
We blasted up to level 70 and soon got our first taste of gearing up to raid. I had some shortcomings being a Paladin as I didn’t want to only be a healer. Luckily, Prot was developing into something fun and challenging so I took it! Our entire time in BC was spent mostly in Karazahn, Gruul’s Lair, Mag’s Lair, and Zul’Aman. He went on to raid with a group that got into Hyjal and Black Temple on a regular basis while I stayed behind (mostly due to time restraints due to school.) But it was one of the most fun times I had playing this game.
When Wrath came out, we transferred servers to Drak’theron and met a guy that to this day is one of the nicest and kindest person I’ve ever met and am proud to call my friend (he also DM’s my weekly D&D games). We became members of his guild and went all the way to ICC 11/12 Heroic with him. A lot of accomplishments made with that guy and it was a lot of fun.
But that was the peak of my raiding experience as I stopped raiding when Cataclysm came out. I still wanted to play the game but didn’t know what else to do. So I gave RP a shot. I looked up an excellent guide on wowpedia, made a mage on Moon Guard, and went to town! I walked into the Cathedral district for the first time and was genuinely amazed by all the people there, acting out their characters.
I was hooked instantly.
I quickly leveled up this mage, known as Andalian Morrison, and joined a guild that I believe was called Kingdom of Arathor. I learned so much about Arathi Highland lore being in that guild (mostly research I had done) and decided to make my mage be from Arathi. Eventually I made him an entire family: 3 older brothers and 1 older sister. Cerious, Nethran, Cillvia, and Edrayne. I eventually made Cillvia into a rogue I had and transferred her to the server where I then was approached by Selvetore Melrony to join the Melrony Crime Family.
Crime RP was a new experience for me (much like all RP was) and I learned quick that RP Fighting was full of a lot of drama if you didn’t communicate effectively. But the stories told were fun and I had fun. Though like a lot of things, this RP came with a lot of OOC drama and for better or for worse, I let it get to me and run how my RP was. Rather than talk things out with Selvetore, I plotted with his other officers and we all left and made our own guild, The Morrisons.
I can’t say if I had just left on my own if things would be different but the whole experience taught me that talking things out with your guild mates might end in someone leaving but it’s better than essentially ruining someones day through shady means.
Running the Morrisons was challenging. We didn’t know exactly what we wanted to be. Half of us wanted to be crime RPers, the other half just wanted to be entertainers. Either way, we did our best. I ended up disbanding due to time restraints IRL but eventually I came back around on Andalian and joined up with the Pyrebird Sodality, the GM being Kenny.
Kenny was a lot of fun to be around and still is a very creative person. I learned a lot about RP from her as well (even though I had well over a couple years of experience at that point). She taught me a lot about running a guild as well. I stuck by that guild until time ran out for it and switched then to my paladin, Neo Starstrider, freshly transferred from Sargeras.
I used my raiding experience as his backstory and eventually landed on him being a devout Champion of the Argent Crusade, joining up with House Ravenshield in the process. I never let OOC dictate my actions with this character as IC was my only driving force.
Eventually Neo cut ties with the Crusade due to their inability to do anything about Sylvanas and her plague. He joined up with Elizabeth Embershield and the Embershield Protectorate and that’s pretty much where his story is concluding. He will be retiring from active service to take care of himself and his kids (if Telriah so wishes it.)
I will say this about Embershield: It is the best guild I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of.
Telriah is an amazing world builder and a great friend. I love him to death and I hope he continues to run this guild well after I leave. It’s been a pleasure to work with him in building the guild up and I loved every minute of it.
Linaly, Teanuu, Ainsling, Talen, Dubz, Keak, Garion, Nesara, Elbert, Kamarill, Trisana, Walorian and even you Moonsworn, I love you all so very much and I hope you continue to be the amazing people you are.
So if you read all of that, I congratulate you on getting this far. If you skipped to this part that’s cool too. But as I said before, my time in wow has come to an end.
My reasons for quitting are as follows:
1: WoW is just not fun for me anymore. Not even RP can keep me playing this game, sadly enough. I’ve played this game for over 13 years. I had so much fun raiding and jumping into RP. But the current iteration of this game is just not appealing to me anymore. I don’t like world quests, I don’t like the rep grinds, I don’t like the raiding or the PVP. I could go on and on with a lot of the things I don’t like (and to be honest they’re probably things you read or hear about on a daily basis) but it’s just plain and simple: Wow isn’t fun for me anymore.
2: I’m studying to become an Computer Tech and all of the things that follow that path. I am also wanting to start up my YouTube/Twitch project once more and don’t want WoW to be pulling me down.
3: In July 2017, I met the woman that I want to marry. At the time that I write this, we’ve been together for 15 months. She’s moved in with me, she’s decorated the apartment, we put up a Christmas Tree (the first one I’ve ever put up since living on my own). We have a cat, I buy her roses every chance I get, I love her family and she loves mine. It’s as simple as this: Every time I’ve had a choice between wow and spending time with her, I chose her.
Well, there’s that. I hope everyone reading this enjoyed my story and enjoyed the things I had to say. If you want to keep tabs on me, I’ll still be on Discord. My Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube Handles are SgtMajorCool. I believe they’re in my profile as well if you take a gander. But that’s that.

Anime Fall 2019 Final Impressions + Plans for Winter 2020 [FINAL]
Tumblr media
Before I start reviewing every anime I watched this season, I want to address this first: As the title suggest, this is gonna be my last post, but not my last post overall (as I’m still working on my 2019 review with a little bit of my history from the last 10 years to celebrate the end of 2010 and the start of 2020), this is the last post of the seasonal anime review series.
This may be a one-time thing since it’s the last post, but I’m gonna keep my opinions as short as possible because, here’s a story: right after I published my previous Summer 2019 anime review post, I started by sharing my post on a Discord server, someone pinged me about reading my post I just shared as well as my retirement post (finally, someone who reads my stuff), I later started talking about my issues with making these posts, such as inconsistent formatting, don’t really have much opinion on what I saw or looking forward to, and my least favorite: post-publish editing, about the part of not having much thought on the shows I watch or gonna watch next, this guy from the Karoshi Discord server who atually read my previous Summer anime review post responded with this:
Tumblr media
Well, I’ll gladly try not to write lengthy paragraphs when in reality I don’t really have much to comment, but at the same time, it’s going to be rather weird how there’s one entry with little to no comments and another with lengthy paragraphs whenever I actually feel like commenting. I’ve always been forcing myself to make lengthy paragraphs because I needed to make these posts look even as much as possible. (And I still ended up having a little bit of forced opinions, but at the same time, there are some small things that I needed to get it out of my heart, and there are other lengthy things for the same reason)
However, there are some things that I do really feel like making lengthy reviews, so I’ll point them out with a * representing “Lengthy review written by heart.”
The only things I ended up having no commentary at all were three anticipated anime in contrast to literally everything else which I still ended up making lengthy posts, though I guarantee some of these were from heart.
(Let me know if I should change my ShareX image quality settings to .png or .jpg because I’ve been using .jpg for a while and now I started to notice that the quality is absolute crap. I should have pasted it when I cropped it for sure, but I just wanted to formally upload this, so I can make this post look “formal”, even though there’s a little bit of informal writing, sometimes.)
(Also, check the end of the post for my birthday thanks)
Tumblr media
Ranking every anime I watched this season from best to worst
I should also address why I do these posts from top to bottom even though it should be the other way around, it’s because I like keeping track of what’s my highest and what’s my lowest, although now that I think about it, I should have made outlines of these lists and the moment I start making these posts, I could go from the lowest to the highest like many sites do, but whatever. Also, if that wasn’t enough, the thumbnails already spoil what’s my #1 AOTS.
Let’s get right to the rankings!
1.- Azur Lane: The Animation*: I’m super addicted to Azur Lane, I even play it a lot more than FGO, and when the anime was announced, I defintely was absolutely hyped for it! And now, it’s finally here and boy, it absolutely didn’t disappoint! So let’s get right to it! (Also, expect me to draw comparisons with Kancolle a lot. inb4 y’all gonna tell me “Try to bring Warship Girls for better comparison” and all that jazz and honestly, I don’t even care about lesser known shipfus properties as much as I do with Kancolle and Azur Lane)
For starters, the anime uses the “Azur Lane vs Red Axis” storyline which is a reference to the guild menu.
Tumblr media
(Screenshot from the Azur Lane Wiki with the old UI)
Tumblr media
(My screenshot of the guild menu with the new UI, for comparison)
As someone who always plays Azur Lane a lot, this is one thing I overlooked for the most part and I feel kinda stupid for it.
There’s just like a ton of easter eggs I understood, I could make posts after posts from each episode or just make like a compilation post about every single easter egg from the game in every episode, I was literally geeking out on all of them.
The animation wasn’t the greatest, sadly, and even Kancolle looked better than Azur Lane does, but I’m not really mad about it nor I care! Even so, there were still some interesting sakuga moments! However, for the last time about the visuals, Kancolle has a uniformal character designs (calling them same faces would be a stretch), but Azur Lane does a pretty good job on capturing the different art styles the characters have, at least from their facial structures. It’s still no Chain Chronicle-tier (nor there will be anything with the same animation and character designs as the Chain Chronicle OVAs EVER!), but I’m impressed!
Speaking of the animation, episodes 11 and 12 will be delayed UNTIL MARCH while the entire series will be rebroadcast in January so we could lead up to the finale episodes in March. Well that’s certainly going to be quite a while to wait but they’re doing this to deliver the best animated finale episodes as possible, so I’m totally down for it!
Perhaps my big problem with the story is that the subplot focused more on trying to befriend Ayanami and there wasn’t much of Z23, but I think it’s more like they’re pulling from the JP server’s starter ship roster with Javelin, Laffey and Ayanami while Z23 is an unlockable. But it doesn’t matter, we do not point out issues or think of what I didn’t like which I had no problems, it always leave me a sour taste in what I’ve always been hyped for, so forget what I said.
Not to mention there are a little bit of elements that are completely new in the series and I wish they added them in the game, like Kaga’s giant fox ship and Unicorn’s flying U-chan (I didn’t know U-chan lives, I thought it was a simple lifeless stuffed animal), Hornet and Laffey in swimsuits (Come on, Manjuu, give them these swimsuits), etc.
The anime is also making me like some characters more, I kinda like Sheffield more because she’s badass (and doesn’t wear panties), but I’m liking Belfast a lot more than I have before, her chemistry with Enterprise is just amazing, I really love seeing these two together.
To top it all off, the first volume of the Blu-Ray has a really awesome unlockable of a new Enterprise costume! Which I’ll probably never get of course because I don’t think I could ever buy the BD.
I also didn’t know I needed and find it strange to hear English dub in the anime when the game has 100% Japanese voices, and I really wonder how much of the VAs know about this game and if they play it themselves (I’m sure they might not). This is a common thing with mobage adaptations (and even Kancolle), and Azur Lane is no exception.
Azur Lane The Animation is truly a love letter to the people who play the game, especially me because boy, I couldn’t stop pointing out references galore! It’s sad that the series only has 12 episodes, but I really hope it gets second seasons and even a movie like Kancolle did... Alright, what I’m saying is that I want Azur Lane The Animation to straight-up copy Kancolle The Animation. (Speaking of which, season 2 of Kancolle The Animation is coming and it’s an absolute joke that it’s happening) I want more storylines, I want more ships, I want more Azur Lane anime to exist!
But if this is really gonna be a one-off series, I’ll be forever sad because I won’t get more animated Azur Lane related stuff, I want to see everything being brought to life. Since it’s a big franchise right now, I hope it could get the Fate/Grand Order treatment where there should be different anime by different studios, that’s what I’d love to see!
UPDATE - December 24th: It seems like my dream of more Azur Lane anime is finally becoming true, as they announced an adaptation of the 4koma series!
10/10 - 100% - Rank: S++, I don’t give a shit about what anyone might say about the series’ story or even the animation, I just loved it!
(I’m glad I don’t visit 4chan and I have seen nothing but praise towards Aur Lane The Animation (mostly from Japanese people to see negative comments everywhere so my mind becomes broken and giving me the idea that the general consensus being the series is absolutely terrible, inb4 I share this and tell me otherwise.)
2.- Girls’ Frontline Healing Chapter (JP)*: Yes, I know I already talked about it on my last post, but it’s the Japanese dub we’re talking about and it’s relatively solid. However, there are quite some big changes, starting with the first episode where there’s more sound effects to the battlefield scene where it made the CN version feel poor in comparison, future episodes were having slight changes to the camera as well. Although there are things in the Japanese dub’s acting and scripting that I’m not really satisfied with, but it was still good regardless. Also, forget about “English sub vs dub”, now it’s “Chinese dub vs Japanese dub” now. Though the last few episodes didn’t have much of big changes, other than Chinese text written to Japanese.
The most important thing I have to talk about are these weird post-credits scenes, I have no idea what do these scenes even mean, maybe they just made these scenes as fillers to fill the maximum 4-5 minute run on Japanese TV.
Also, I have to go back to the CN version because, at the time when the first episode of the JP dub aired, the CN dub premiered its final episode and my god, I’m really sad this is over. And now we’re moving on to the other series, Madness Chapter (which you’ll find out as you scroll down this). Man, I really want more of this, I love the art style, but I wish some characters had more screentime and let RO shine!
Goodbye Healing Chapter, it was nice knowing you! ;_;7
Supposedly ShouKin (one of the uploaders for the two Girls’ Frontline anime series, the other being Berizou) found that season 2 for Healing Chapter was confirmed. Sounds awesome but I think I’ll have to wait for more and reliable information about it. Not that ShouKin is not a reliable source, but I really hope we get to hear more of it.
10/10 - 100% - Rank: S++ (Even with the JP dub, you continue to be great)
3.- High Score Girl II*: Supposedly I’ve always been following Moetron’s news about its release and I thought the first 3 episodes were gonna come out on my birthday, it indeed happened in Japan but there has never been any torrent of them and I was seriously disappointed about it! It came out like late October and I was like “What took you so long for this to come out or something?”, there might have been stuff I may have missed that explain these weird releases.
Anyways, moving on talking about the series and all I can think of is that the series continues to give me a big smile, seriously, every time I watch High Score Girl, I always smile for 24 minutes, that’s how powerful this show must be. (Even though everything shown is from the 90s and I was born in 1999, so I’m a 2000s kid, so I probably won’t have any idea of its historical accuracies and references).
Seriously, out of everything JC Staff they made this year, including the absolute garbage that was One Punch Man season 2, High Score Girl is obviously the winner for their best looking anime of the year!
100/100 - 100% - Rank: S++
4.- Fate/Grand Order Babylonia: For the last time, Fate anime adaptations have become quite a hot sensitive topic for me since 2017′s Fate/Apocrypha and 2018′s Fate/Extra Last Encore (And I enjoyed them both), but with Fate/Grand Order Babylonia, I’m qutie impressed, especially with the animation. This is probably the only two-cour series consisting of 21 episodes, it’s a weird number but it’s decent enough, and it’s a very long chapter of the game.
The Type-Moon community seems pretty hateful on other Fate series adaptations, but they’re very chill with Ufotable’s Stay Night adaptations, and nobody really seems to complaint with the New Year’s content and I’m glad for it. (Which by the way, the New Year’s stuff continue to be great! I definitely want it to be a tradition forever.)
5.- Tokunana: This was a relatively fun cop drama with stellar performances, and perhaps it was definitely the most underrated show of the season. The art style reminds me of Shirow Miwa in a way as well.
8/10 - 84% - Rank: A
6.- Beastars: I don’t know much about the story, but my big focus is the animation. Orage continues to deliver great CG animation post-Houseki no Kuni but it suffers the same problems as Sanzigen with the hand-drawn background characters and that shit is seriously annoying.
8/10 - 82% - Rank: A-
Between Beastars and High Score Girl II, I wanted HSGII to be the better looking CG series without blatant hand drawn parts, but I guess it even includes hand drawn parts at times, so having to find which CG anime look better is a hard stretch, perhaps I’m asking too much on what kind of CG anime do I want. Also, I hate to admit, I have to give props to Studio Polygon because they definitely make everything 100% CG. (Or do they? Gah! I don’t know anymore!)
7.- My Hero Academia season 4: Well, I read the manga, it’s no surprising about what even happened with these arcs. (even though when I’m at the current chapters, I forget what happened the previous volumes).
7.5/10 - 75% - Rank: B+
8.- Psycho-Pass 3*: If Tokunana wasn’t enough of a cop drama, then here comes Psycho-Pass 3 which it’s the true definition of a cop drama with the 40 minute runtime.
As someone who wasn’t really offended on Psycho-Pass 2, I’ll have to assume that Psycho-Pass 3 is definitely a breath of fresh air for the series after the movies, perhaps even more.
I’m glad that most of the familiar faces have returned, although it was probably always expected, but there’s just something about Akane, Ginoza and Kogami’s returns from the first few episodes that made me fanboy a little bit, not gonna lie. It’s just that I was really stuck to the marketing and promotional images of the series.
If Psycho-Pass 3 is still somewhat received negatively like Psycho-Pass 2, I don’t know what do you really want from this franchise at this point. At this point you’re definitely thinking that Psycho-Pass should have been a one-off series, but no, most of the fans begged for a second season and so on, they delivered. Don’t try to mess with the creators’ efforts and stuff.
Though my only problem with this season is that I wish the original characters had some more screentime, and then episode 8 didn’t really feel conclusive but I guess that helped to lead up to the upcoming film--which turned out to be a compilation film which gives me a sour taste in my mouth. However, it does confirm that it will indeed conclude the story, for a “compilation film” I don’t know how that might work, but if it’s indeed gonna conclude the story, that’s the main thing I wanted to hear.
7.5/10 - 75% - Rank: B+
First there are anime with 40 minute premieres, movies are a different thing, but a full-fledged TV anime series with a 40 minute runtime? That sure kinda sounds revolutionary but at the same time it’s a total overkill for animators. Besides, I never have the energy to watch anything in 40 minutes, so let’s keep things the way they are with usually having to watch anime series in 20 minutes.
9.- Phantasy Star Online 2 Episode Oracle*: You think that a PSO2 anime that’s actually set in the game’s universe and it’s more serialized could be better than PSO2: The Animation? Well, part of it yeah. But for me, honestly, this was WAY WORSE than PSO2: The Animation for one major reason: This was absolutely rather dark and I wasn’t too comfortable with it.
The animation is kind of alright, it’s not very great but at least Gonzo has definitely improved since the maximum garbage that was 18if.
Is the actual game this dark? Even if I haven’t really seen any story mode (?) cutscenes, from what I’ve seen, I just don’t see it in that light. I haven’t played the JP version (I’d like to but I have difficulties with the download) but I am gonna try to play the English version next year (Can’t believe it’s finally happening).
I just read on MAL that it does adapt these episodes from the actual game but they have anime original content in the process, since I’m not a PSO2 player, I really can’t say for sure if it is indeed faithful but with the anime original stuff, but if it is, well shit.
Surprisingly I haven’t seen some friends I know who play PSO2 talk about Episode Oracle. They have talked about PSO2: The Animation when it came out and they certainly hate it but I can defintely tell they don’t watch Episode Oracle at all (I think it’s for the best).
Anyways, I want to forget this garbage and I want to go back to PSO2: The Animation, it wasn’t that offensively bad after all.
(As of the writing in November 11th, Firefox crashed and I wrote parts of this review a little differently, so I had to rewrite it and it might be different from what I remember, but it’s still decent)
5.5/10 - 53% - Rank: C-
10.- Girls’ Frontline Madness Chapter: Now that Healing Chapter is over, it was time to move on to Madness Chapter, and with the first episode alone... I wasn’t feeling it at all, I’m not super impressed.
Quick info drop, this series is an adaptation of Girls’ Frontline’s in-game 4koma which can be found in the Cafe, though I only play the English version and I assume that the Chinese and Korean servers must have the 4komas like on volume 10 or so.
With that being said about that Madness Chapter adapts the 4koma, there’s just something really off about the animation, it’s just that it’s way too quirky and over the top. It looks more like it’s the true definition of a Chinese anime or something, not for the dub, but for the talent.
Though I have to say, the last few episodes have been really growing on me, but my first impressions will probably remain.
Once Healing Chapter in Japanese ends, I’m definitely expecting Madness Chapter to have Japanese dub as well.
4.5/10 - 45% - Rank: C--
11.- Granblue Fantasy season 2*: A second season with an absolute stepback on animation and decent storyline, everything else is rather forgettable. The Vira episodes were interesting but I couldn’t get myself to care for everything else.
I seriously don't like the new animation at all. A-1 did a very good job on how it looks, but even so, people seem to hate the first season, so the animation in S2 is an absolute downgrade and won't do any favors for me. As for the story so far, I can't really tell if this is from the actual game's campaign (like I said, I stopped at Chapter 17), but I guess it's alright. The most absurd thing about this is that armored characters like the Empire solders and even Apollo are all CG and they look terrible. (Were they CG in the first season too? I can't remember already).
I'm not really one who should be like those "These people shouldn't make cashgrab adaptations doing the story from the very start and instead spend all their money on making OVAs or whatever on their most popular events, like What Makes the Sky Blue?" nazis and I don't give much of a crap about it, but I do really feel like GBF shouldn't really need to be adapted from zero and instead just do any of their popular events or something. I mean, just look at FGO where they only did about one adaptation of the prologue and later they're adapting Babylonia and Camelot, the most popular chapters.
On October 26th, I made a small TwitLonger post detailing my complicated history with GBF and why I’m feeling like I want to walk away from it. (It’s kind of dumb really. And yes, the first paragraphs of this where I gave my first impressions with GBF S2 were straight-up copied from the post).
The most heartbreaking thing that happened in this series is that they showed a Halloween special on November 8th WITH THE FIRST SEASON’S ANIMATION, my god, look how better it was before they went to this crap! This is One-Punch Man season 2 all over again! (But certainly doesn’t top it)
3/10 - 31% - Rank: D
Overall:

Honorable mentions
BLACKFOX*: I barely had time to watch it exactly on my birthday, but when I saw it the next day, it was a relatively solid and entertaining comic book-like narrated film. Although it may not be the greatest film like I wanted, but it may be for the best because at the time, my brain was absolutely burned from seeing Joker last night to even care for everything else, it’s a masterpiece.
One problem I do have is Melissa, at the end of the film, we see Rikka, Mia and... surprisingly Melissa with a costume and everything. What’s the origin behind it? What about her character development?
I really hope there’s more Blackfox because the teaser at the end seems too good to pass to make a full-fledged series of it.
(Mia best girl.)
8/10 - 85% - Rank: B+
Fire Force: My opinion on the animation, at least in non-action moments, probably remain, but I really like these arcs more, not that I didn’t like the beginning arcs but I’m really liking this direction.
(I don’t know how to define “better” anymore without using “I like X better just because. It tops, it exceeds, etc.”)

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection*: This one’s a little funny because it’s a movie that came out about months ago, but it came out in Mexican theaters on October 11th, since it’s October and it falls into the Fall category (”Falls to Fall” lmao), I’ll have to include it.
Anyways, having watched the compilation films as a road to get into the Code Geass series, Lelouch of the Re;surrection was good, but it did get me confused at times, I have a lot of questions about what was going on, but the post-credits scene got me the most confused, I don’t know if it was meant to be a teaser, but the way this scene happened is kind of ambiguous.
Even though watching the compilation films may or may not be the best method to get into Code Geass, I had to do it so I could have saved time, if I were to watch the series, it would have taken me forever. Besides, Lelouch of the Re;surrection is from the compilation films’ canon, so it’s something, I guess.
Moving on, the most baffling thing I have to talk about are the technical issues in my cinema. Like around the beginning of the film, the part where Lelouch blows up Shesthaal, the audio cuts off, they had to pause the run of the film a couple of minutes and rewinded some. People in my cinema, while thankfully not very loud with whistles and all, were definitely complaining about the issue, while my older sister and I were just laughing silently and smh’ing.
8.5/10 - 85% - Rank: A-
Lupin the 3rd Prison of the Past: I genuinely didn’t expect there would be another Lupin the 3rd OVA. It’s been months since I saw Goodbye Partner.
It’s probably unintentional but something tells me that releasing this OVA now is like a lead-up to the Lupin the 3rd CG movie in December in Japan.
There’s one thing I’m not happy about is that there wasn’t a memorial for Monkey Punch or anything (but does that “Monkey” branded chewing gum count? Sounds a little insulting), or this might have been made a while before Monkey Punch passed away, but they should have included something like that.
8/10 - 80% - Rank: A

Anticipated
This is the last anime season of the decade and now we’re gonna reach the first lineup of new anime in the new decade. I of course wouldn’t watch literally every single anime in existence, like I always do with every season, but here are some of the very first anime of the 2020 decade I want to watch!
(I’m surprised no one is hyping up how we’re getting our first anime of the 2020 decade)
I should also try to keep track on everything I want to watch because I think I may forget when they’re gonna come out.
Quintessential Quintuplets season 2 - January ???: A few months ago I binged the series and I seriously can’t believe I slept on this, it was hilarious and pure at times, so I can’t wait to watch more. Though I haven’t read the manga (but I’d like to some day) but it’s enough for me to go blind and enjoy the series.
Speaking of the manga, the series will end on its 14th volume next year and we’re so close on that happening because volume 13 will be released in January 17th 2020. I’ll be sad to see this series go but I’m interested to see what the creator will make next and if the anime keeps getting new seasons, we might actually see the series finale get adapted.
[UPDATE - January 4th 2020: As of now, there hasn’t been any news about Quintessential Quintuplets S2 lately, no promos or anything. I think at this point it’s probably delayed until Spring.]
Heya Camp - January 6th: It may not be season 2 of Yuru Camp (yet) but I’m glad there’s going to be more coziness with the short series lifted from the previews from the base series.
Isekai Quartet season 2 - January 14th: I’m definitely hype for more Isekai Quartet and that teaser with the new classmates at the end of the first season finale is not to be wasted, and those new classmates happened to be Naofumi, Raphtalia and Filo from Rising of Shield Hero. As of the writing this in December 1st, I’m planning to binge Shield Hero, I have pretty much watched every isekai series featured in Isekai Quartet, so I don’t want to be left out with Shield Hero. Regardless of what I heard about the series, I’m still gonna watch it anyways. (Finished watching on December 5th and... DAMN, I REALLY LIKED IT. FUCK THEM SJWs!)
Bang Dream season 3 - January 23rd: It would have been amazing if Sangizen were to do the Bubuki Buranki thing with the first season in Winter and the second season in Fall, but they deserve to take their time.
Madoka Magica Magia Record - January 4th: Fall 2019 was quite stuffed with anime based on gacha, Fate/Grand Order Babylonia, Azur Lane The Animation and Granblue Fantasy The Animation, but Madoka Magica Magia Record is the one show based on the mobile game that decided to not to join the party and it’s kinda funny.
Nekopara - January 9th: That’s right, there’s going to be a full fledged Nekopara TV series now. This is the most unnecessary anime to exist since there already was a plethora of OVAs, there’s no need to make a TV series of the VN now. I don’t have time to rush through the VN if I want to buy it (Most likely from Steam and buy the adult patch too) but I don’t have the money to do it, well, it may depend from my interest and time to try to play it because I’m a bit behind with Saya no Uta.
Speaking of adult content, I’m expecting a bit of fan service somewhere because they wouldn’t do the full blown hentai scenes. Pretty standard VN adapation rules.
Dorohedoro - January 12th.
Danmachi OVA - January 29th.
ID:Invaded - January 5th.
Ishizoku Reviewers - January 11th: I seriously haven’t watched any ecchi series in a long time, and reading the synopsis alone, I’m really intrigued in checking this one out.
There’s quite of anime to look forward to in 2020 but I haven’t been keeping track on what do I want to watch, though I know some that may come in that year, but I’m not gonna get into that since this is just for Winter 2020, I’ll address that in my “10 year journey” post.

The future of the seasonal anime review series
Since this is my last seasonal anime review post in Tumblr, I’ll probably continue making lists either by tweeting them out or will have to make a Discord channel in my private server, but it’s probably more about anticipated shows, for seasonal reviews, I’ll have to do Tier Maker images, probably for the best because I’ve been making a bit of a weird inconsistencies with ranking shows with scores and ranks, so I’ll probably have to stick to only ranks with Tier Maker from now on.
Although to be honest, I’m not sure if anyone would really care about what am I gonna watch, did I like a show or not, but at the same time, I forget people do really care as they’re quite the show-offs and ofcourse discussions galore. So I think I’ll keep doing what I’m doing but in a more simple way.
Tumblr media
And that’s it, we’re done here. This is the end of the seasonal anime review Tumblr post series, though nobody had really read these posts before, but I finally got my first audition with the Karoshi Discord server from the beginning of this post. I’ve had fun making these posts, even if lately I’ve been getting burnt out but I still enjoyed writing these.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, thank you for the birthday wishes, a day early and even on the very same day.
With a day early, particularly from my Japanese friends, especially you @hinosuna0720/@hinosuna3D21 (NSFW content, viewer discretion is advised) for giving me sweet images with my Custom Maid 3D2 OCs, and you even gifted me VA-11 HALL-A and I’m seriously grateful. I also want to congratulate @ryuuunnji for giving me a picture too.
And on the actual day, I want to thank for @SALthePAL95 making me drawings of my new OCs! And speaking of drawings, my older sister made me one too (but I won’t show it, sorry), it’s been a long time since she made me one... ;-;
And I, of course, want to thank everyone else who has given me birthday wishes!
This 20th birthday was definitely the best I’ve ever had in my life, I’ve had some really sweet surprises that I’ve always been looking for, and I wish my future birthdays continue to be this good, especially in the next decade.
(Not you @kirishima_ss. Thankfully it was a day after my birthday but, come on... (he blocked me)) 🖕🔪 (Although that did teach me a valuable lession: I’m not gonna promote my birthday literally every day ever again, because I was seriously getting pretentious)
Anyways, it’s time for making these Tumblr posts to stop, but alas, there’s one more Tumblr post to make, it’s a whole different topic but it’s extremely important, it’s super long but I hope you’ll understand. See you there. Also, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance.

Log 0020, 4:44am, 3/7/2019
Eh!
So, shaggy chose to be at my table. And I may have had his Pc incised by a gorgeous cyan tiefling woman into abandoned building alone, where he may have gotten jumped by 17 other tieflings. Note fun as hell. Honestly, it’s been really nice having him around. Like holy shit an active experienced player?!?!?! What the fuck is this gift? Like, I’m not as into him as I remember being. Like I’m not saying he isn’t attractive, cuss he blatantly is. Plus he’s a really cool dude. I think my heavy drinking early in year changed my memory, of how much I was in to him, gods that was a bad time. I’m not saying I don’t like him, I think he’s great!
So, Mondays the 24th’s session was mostly exploding the main city during a festival, dude gut bit by some zambos in the arena, made to roll for infection, got really bad infection, other player are like fuck him and take forever to get him to a temple. Same dude fallowed some nice tail to an abandoned building, get the shit beat out of him, though it left alive. Many drugs are obtained.
Two players go to the red-light districted; one gets a fade to black with an exotic dancer. The other had gone outside to buy more drugs, and falls a nether person down a back alley, note he’s a dumbass, 9 other dude jump form thynn building top, amazingly is in beat to an inch of his life a 3ed time in one night, came back in dance club sees friend being ushered into back. Then he’s noticed by a handsome stranger, whom first thinks his a chick then there off to handsome strangers place fade to black.
A nether player saw them headed to the red light districted, was like naw and when back toward the festival flouts which he wanted to fight. A lovely lady asked if he wanted to get on the flout he was all the beasts, something, something, and she was like new these robos, he like ah, and ten she helps him on one. One of the other peps on the flout taped are dude and glitter did cover are man, monuments later he asks for a confetti spell to be cast, and are player performs cool tricks with his explosive weapon and thynn confetti. Are last player had just returned to the guild hall to analyzed a gifted rose amulet, to see if it had ofer abilities then what was stated. It was a fun session.
Tuesday, I went to paint jam like the usual. Saw a nice older guy, high key a paint master, so shall he be labeled. Note not the paint teacher, whom to be known as the Paint Guy, though, the Paint Guy didn’t show up as he was stuck out of state, but that’s inconsequential to the point of this. So, Paint Master, came in and did some paining and we chatted like you do at paint jam. At some point we start talking about DnD as nerds do, he asks about the one shot I ran a while back, told him it went well and that I Dm On Mondays now. At some point I told him I was just running with the players hand book, cuss I didn’t have any of the others, and he offer to send me some PDFs of some of th DND books, and I was like that be cool. So now I have the DMs Guide and The Monster Manual, which is just fab.
It was great seeing Nymph, she complemented my new hair cut a bunch. Which was really nice, she’s all was complemented my hair. She’s so fucking sweet. It was wonderful seeing her. I just love her.
In Lash’s campaign only 4 of us could make it. Though, we killed that son of a bitch blade singer, the blacksmith I punched turned out to be a badass asamar, I got a cool new item that makes it where I can casted scorching ray twice per long rest I believe.  It’d pretty cool. Still need to get some new boot though, lol. I got a long bow as well, some ranged damage, like I’m not proficient with it, but I don’t care, it’s a bow, I go pew pew.
I’m running a one-off Thursday, the 4th. It’s going to be like underwater horror, Haunted sunken ship full of kuo-toa with a kraken outside, was what I was thinking. I’m prohibiting elf, humans, half elf, & derivatives of, cus i want some odd races in this one shot.
I did the volunteering with the rabbit rescue, it was awful, I was hot, choking on hair, spiders were everywhere, I had rabbit hair in my eyes, and you know what? I’m glad I did it. Do I want to do it again? Not really. Will I? Probability. But that was only half of it. I tried to do some grooming too. I feel I did poorly, but I’ll get better with time. I just hope I made a rabbits life a little better.
So…
Yesterday’s session, Monday the 1, was pretty fun too, though not as role play heavy. Are players whom got fade to blacks had to Rom For Stds, the one whom slept with a exotic dancer got crabs, the other narrowly expand syphilis. Some role play stuff, then to and airship run by goblins, a little while after they got in the air ship they fight some sky pirates, there leader the tall muscular man with sky blue Gandalf beard, wearing nothing but purple glittery booty shorts, saw that these dude be beating my shit fuck this and then just jumps ship. One of the player had set both ships on fire & both when down. Everyone survives. O like a dungeon no thinks, woops spick devils usher them in to the dungeon, and fight.
I keep thinking about Crush-kun, who shall be called Eyebrows from now forward, and I don’t like it, it frankly pisses me off, to no end. It’s not his fault, . I don’t know why my brain has to torture me like this. Honestly, I don’t know him super well, but here my head goes into fantasy conversations with him… I’m so fucking tired of think about him. Gods he’s just so nice, and attractive. I really hate thinking about him. No I don’t I love it, but I hate that I love it. It’s like dumping seawater in and massive gash.
Eyebrows hugged me twice Monday, idk why it was odd. I hugged Presh, and Eyebrows was like could I get a hug, not odd, and I’m borderline in love with this man no matter how much I hate that, so I was like yeah.  Then I walked over hugged him, then during he’s like let me put down my drink, I let go put his drink down and hugged me again did something a bit weird with his arms than let go, there was a joke about him not braking my ribs this time, cuss when I hugged him Thursday I made a joke about wanting a hug not broken ribs, note the hug was really soft especially in comparison to the last couple of times, I’ve hugged him. Note not helping with the adoring him thing… Then he said he was going to swing me around but didn’t because of the chair, the weird thing he did with his arm explained. Then I told him I thought his wolf necklace was cool, cuss it legitimately is, and said that he always had it, and I was like yeah I know I just hadn’t said anything, he said something along the lines of look at you noticing things, or something like that, I said something like I notice a lot of things like the irritating fact that you hair is 75 different colors all the time, he said something like sorry my hairs irritating but yours is so cute then he said what color his hair is, a few more thing were said I don’t remember well. Just fuck.
Gods, I hate that I adore this basterd. I know, I’m over thinking this, but I feel like he acts weird around me. I’d swear to all the gods to have ever existed that he’s fucking with me. This shit is really too fuckin much for me. These emotions are so strong foreign, it’d overwhelming. It’s killing me.
Wait that’s an idea! *runs to nearest knife* Freedom!!! *stabs self 27 times in the chest* *collapses*
So today I woke up depressed. Just fab right?
Then got dressed, packed my paint shit, and went to paint jam. Got to see Paint Master chatted & got to see the cool shit he’s working on. Got him to join discord, and in the shops server. Some good memes man, some good memes.
Now I’ve finished with most of what I have thought about.
Sighing Off…
Favorite song today: Almost Human by Voltaire, She will always hate me by James Blunt, & Catharsis by Motionless In White
Mood: Pretty good, till I woke up today

My Thoughts: “Quan Zhi Gao Shou” Episode 11 Summary and Review
Tumblr media
Have the “ships” set sail yet? If not, greetings to all you QZGS fans, I'll be your hostess for another edition of “My Thoughts.” This week's episode was a belly-full of laughs! I swear, every time I watched it (and I always watch a few times before writing my reviews), I laughed each time! I'm a bit more pleased with this episode (as nothing really major happens) so I don't have as many complaints as usual.
This week’s episode backtracks a little as we get bits and pieces from chapter 191 in the novel, all the way through to chapter 209. Spoilers ahead! Be prepared for more Shaotian screenshots!
Tumblr media
The episode begins from where we last left off: in the “haunted” well. Steamed Bun attacks with a well-timed Brick but before he can, Concealed Light stops him hastily, saying that he's here to help and that he knows all about Steamed Bun and Lord Grim. Steamed Bun, being the simple air-headed cutie that he is, strikes a cool pose, telling him that he's too busy at the moment to sign autographs. After accepting the friend request Concealed Light throws at him, Bun skillfully jumps out of the well, once again attracting the attention of his pursuers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the other hand, Concealed Light struggles to get out of the well himself, resulting in a not so charming faceplant in the dirt.
Tumblr media
As Steamed Bun attempts to run away from his pursuers, Concealed Light watches from above. His mathematical genius comes into play and, with his PMed instructions, Bun is able to shake off his enemies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Inside the building he's hiding in, Bun is surprised by Concealed Light again who has silently caught up to him. As the two of them hide inside, Concealed Light notices that Bun’s weapon was not an Orange weapon like he had predicted in his “Idiot” guides. (LOL is that the only thing you noticed, Light?) When asked, Bun cheerfully tells him that he's never used an Orange weapon before and Concealed Light looks shocked as he wonders how Lord Grim and Co. were able to set such quick dungeon records.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At this point, Bun gets a message from Ye Xiu, asking him if he's gotten away yet. He sheepishly replies that he hasn't. When asked how many are pursuing him, Bun tells him that he'll have to ask his “brother in the well.” Ye Xiu reacts with confusion to this statement but writes it off as Steamed Bun being Steamed Bun and tells him to meet up at Congee Forest. Bun turns back to Concealed Light, asking him if he wanted to join up with him or lead the others away. Light gives him a look (“Why should I have to lure them away when the one they're chasing is you??”) before giving a resigned sigh and telling Bun to follow him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back at the Internet cafe, Ye Xiu and Mucheng are talking with each other, with Mucheng telling him that the players chasing and attacking them are all level 33. Ye Xiu reacts to this: as the 10th server has only been released for a few weeks, the chances of one guild having so many high leveled characters is slim. His suspicions are confirmed elsewhere from Blue River’s (Xu Boyuan’s) perspective as he laughs over the title of the new chat group that was created by the various guilds who are after Lord Grim and Co. Within the chat, he finds out that the two rival guilds, Excellent Dynasty and Tyrannical Ambition, are working together, alongside guilds Samsara, Herb Garden, Hundred Blossoms, Misty Castle and Void Walk (all guilds backed by Clubs), with Blue Brook decidedly absent from this lineup. When asked to join, Blue River just laughs…
Tumblr media
In-game, Lord Grim shows off his skills while jumping from one tree to another in Congee Forest. His screen is suddenly bombarded by messages as Huang Shaotian logs in, asking for a duel. Ye Xiu tells him that he's busy and that he should try tomorrow. However, at exactly midnight, Shaotian messages him again, asking for a duel. With a sigh, Ye Xiu tells him to come to Congee Forest, as long as he doesn't find it too shameless to duel there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tricked by the promise of a duel, Shaotian as Flowing Tree arrives in Congee Forest, only to find out that his target is the group of players currently chasing after Lord Grim. Shaotian reacts with anger and indignation but later dissolves into laughter when he finds out the reason that they're chasing after him. (“Hahah! Serves you right, taking records from new players!”) The look on Ye Xiu’s face as he takes off his headphones while Shaotian continues to laugh at him is priceless.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As the players rush them, they notice Shaotian watching from the side. Recognizing him as one of the players who helped Lord Grim set his records, they begin to pursue him as well before they realize that Flowing Tree’s level (27) was too low to be of any threat to them: in other words, he was just trash! Incensed at being called “trash,” Shaotian chases after them like a maniac, hurling profanities and trash talk at them. Finally, two of them stop to take him on but he easily takes them out, amid a barrage of speech bubbles, even going so far as to take the Orange weapon one if them was holding. And, throughout it all, looking oh-so-cute, even when he's trash talking! (In the novel, he first takes out the player who called him “trash”; later, after taking some mana potions from Ye Xiu, he takes on the other player with the Orange sword.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Suddenly, from the corner of his eye, he notices movement and he blocks the attack Lord Grim throws at him. After a seemingly mock battle with him, Shaotian trips not-so-gracefully after running out of mana. Ye Xiu shamelessly mocks him as he hands out a mana potion before he notices more players approaching.
Tumblr media
In the group chat, the players complain about Lord Grim and Flowing Tree as they are continually slaughtered by them. Shaotian keeps up with his machine-gun audio interference, choking and becoming dizzy from talking too much as Ye Xiu and Mucheng laugh at him in the background. (“To be able to talk until you get light-headed from lack of oxygen, you must be a genius!”)
Tumblr media
Things change when Shaotian notices that the players after them have changed strategies (in the novel, the players become more organized, forming groups of four while wandering around the forest). As the two Gods look from above, they notice one group comprised of mostly cloth and leather wearing opponents (in other words, players with less defence) and decide, with their limited mana, to take out this group first. They shoot forward as a heroic instrumental plays in the background. I love how they even animated Shaotian’s hair, that one antenna-like strand twitching along with his mood.
Tumblr media
At Excellent Era HQ, Chen Yehui, Guild Leader of Excellent Dynasty and the mastermind of this joint task force of guilds, is trying to organize all his troops in Congee Forest. Just as he's got Ye Xiu and Shaotian surrounded with the help of the other Guild Leaders, an explosion from behind knocks Samsara’s Guild Leader, Lonely Drink, to the ground.
Tumblr media
Mucheng and Yifan to the rescue! Looks like they've caught up! With Mucheng shooting at everyone, the tables have turned! At the same time, Tang Rou, Steamed Bun and Concealed Light also arrive to help out. From the side, Chen Yehui angrily messages his teams but is interrupted by Shaotian as he attacks (in the novel, the first one Shaotian attacks is Lonely Drink from Samsara, not Chen Yehui from Excellent Dynasty). As they fight, Shaotian fills the screen with speech bubbles, causing Ye Xiu to reprimand him.
Tumblr media
Suddenly, Shaotian hears mumbling from somewhere and he notices Concealed Light discussing tactics with himself behind a tree. As he continues his rant, his inattention to his surroundings causes him to slam into a tree, making Shaotian laugh his head off. Ye Xiu tells Steamed Bun to fall back and he does, only for him to walk straight into some friendly fire from the nervous Concealed Light. His mistake causes him to walk into a tree again, and Ye Xiu tells them to hurry and form a party to avoid such a mishap again. Noticing the name of the noob-like Summoner, Ye Xiu is surprised at his luck for finding the elusive writer of the Idiot Guides.
Tumblr media
However, Ye Xiu’s luck is about to run out as, outside of the game, he starts getting calls from customers in the Internet cafe who need his assistance. As he tries to deal with his in-game commanding and his Internet cafe customers, his conversations confuse not just his pursuers but his team members (we find out that Steam Bun/Bao Rongxing hasn't left the cafe yet and is playing beside Tang Rou).
Tumblr media
Guild Leaders Lonely Drink (Samsara) and Cold Night (Tyrannical Ambition) try to get away but are stopped by Lord Grim and Co. Shaotian, regarding the entire battle like some game, asks everyone how many players they've killed, the one who kills the least is the loser! Ye Xiu laughs, saying that Shaotian has already lost as he had already killed 11. Being the competitive guy that he is, Shaotian chatters out an angry battle cry while the Guild Leaders cry for an entirely different reason.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There were quite a few points that I liked in this episode and the main one was the interaction between the characters. I have to admit, the relationship between Concealed Light and Steamed Bun was not only ridiculously funny, it was turning into one hot mess. It's a huge difference when compared to the teamwork of Ye Xiu and Shaotian, or the teamwork of Ye Xiu with Mucheng. Granted, Light and Bun haven't known each other for very long while the other three have been competing alongside each other for years. Still, I'm not-so-secretly shipping Light and Bun together and, with their contrasting personalities, it's going to be a wild and highly amusing ride! I hope to see more interaction with them in the future! Now, what do we have coming up in the next episode?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Looks like the pros of Tyranny are finally coming out to play! I see some Zhang Xinjie and Han Wenqing action! And where is this taking place? Another arena or Line Canyon? The Striker that Han is playing with doesn't look like his Desert Dust, judging from posters previously seen in the series. And is that some cuddle-time for Ye Xiu and MuMu? Well, guess we'll find out in the next (and possibly last episode for this season?) episode! 再見!
Profile of the Week: Luo Ji’s Summoner, Concealed Light  (Look at those baggy pants!)

After dressing and taking a fast downpour in a simple black long-sleeved tee shirt and dark denims, I order my concealer and also get to function hiding the most up to date enhancement to my skin. One more main reason light shades will definitely work better for you is actually that they flaunt what little muscle-definition you have. Harvey's charitable organization streams, she pointed out, were actually mostly for enjoyable and also to borrow for triggers. If you do not flow on a daily basis, at times you perform really feel the distinction in the cash and also the earnings as well as the perspectives," she pointed out. But however, pleasant potatoes are high glycemic mark foods and must be restricted if you are actually dealing with overweight, at the very least up until your physical body weight stabilizes.
The one fascinating little bit of information the writer delivers is actually Second in importance, merely to the Mind, in our amazing body system is what is actually phoned the Gut. The first is that a great deal of brand-new jobs demand much higher skill-set degrees - specifically in the critical presuming use of math, empathy, scientific research, and also innovation - functionalities that are actually past devices (at the very least meanwhile). Say goodbye to waiting on mobile phone internet indicator or losing money data prepare for house make use of. The sort of physical body you will certainly achieve: It was actually all about the correct proportions right now, thus you will definitely operate towards attaining the tiniest as well as thinnest stomach you could have while emphasizing your seizure and your buttocks. . I have a Chromebook at work and this does not a few fundamental things I require when I am actually remote control (SSH into server, distant personal computer, and also Citrix for some other applications). All people as well as organisations which deal with little ones as well as young people, or are associated with offering services for all of them have an obligation to guard and also ensure their welfare. While you are actually certainly not encouraged to force this to take place, you are advised to become sharp, focus, and embeded practise every important thing you learn, regardless of where or even coming from that you knew this. The craft from work isn't really about finding on your own somewhere apart from where you are currently. Bangs work for lots of people but individually I have actually regularly thought they work much better on slim hair as they are actually a lot more tameable.

Pros and Cons of Stormrage:
have 7 of the names I would want, including the important one (Xella)
have two level 100s that fill class niches for characters that won’t be makng the transfer cut due to costs (a mage and a rogue)
very high population, so if I can ever physically tolerate raiding again (fuck you, camera) options for guilds to join without having to transfer again are good
auction house will basically have anything I need ever (and the liklihood of rare transmog and tcg mounts in my price range is much higher)
BUT it’s the second? highest population realm in the region which means that on patch day and in prime time near content days, there are RIDICULOUS queues
no friends there; I had some at one point but they’ve all transferred elsewhere by now.  I would basically be playing solo until I got back into raiding (or quit)
Pros and Cons of Proudmoore:
have five of the names I would want, including the important one
but none of the ones I would want for a mage or paladin (or a DH, but I’m not super attached to having a DH atm)
and while my shaman’s old name is available, I would have to race change her again to make it fit (and I both don’t want to do that and can’t afford it); a variation on her current name is available but I’m not sure how cool I am with that
no existing highish-level alts; all non-transferred classes would start from scratch (I could fudge priest but even then she’s only level 27)
it’s my original server from before the LJ guild decided to be formed on Bloodscalp
but that also means deleting my original launch characters to transfer over their replacements
it’s a relatively happy medium between Stormrage and... well, and Korgath’s population.  It’s higher pop than Korgath but not as high as Stormrage, so while there’s chances for queues, they aren’t as bad.  Raid opportunities will be good there for the foreseeable future
I have active friends that play and raid there and could utilize that to secure a raid slot marginally easier (or at least a chance at one)
but they don’t raid at the level I would like to raid at, so I would still not be in a position to complete all the content before the next set of it comes out, and leaving them for better progression would be very difficult
ICC is there and fuck those guys
I am actually informed that I’d be welcome as a guild friend in ICC that’s very strange information and I am now very confused
Pros and Cons of Grizzly Hills:
have six or seven names available, and possibly more if I wanted to hate myself and split my characters across both connected realms, including the important ones
have a 93 rogue already in place (and a 51 priest but I may start her over for name shenanigans, since I released Lina at some point and it’s now in use elsewhere)
significantly lower population than Stormrage, Proudmoore, and Korgath—very good for being casual
almost nothing by way of a raiding scene; one guild approximately tied with DS for progression and that’s pretty much it; if raiding was viable again I would have to transfer again, which means going through the “alt leveling song and dance” again too—not really something that appeals to me much anymore
connected to Lothar; CRs aren’t as bad as they used to be but it’s still annoying because blizzard still has put nothing in place in-game to indicate what servers are connected to you and which aren’t
it’s also VERY low pop as far as connections go, so if they ever decide to do more CRs, it’ll almost certainly get a third appendage (or be appended to some other existing cluster)
no active friends there (but at least the possibility is there, since it’s Mindless Followers town)
trade chat trolls are already known and the bad ones are significantly less bad than on any other server I’ve been on (someone who is or pretends to be a ditzy girl for attention, and a guy who says random but mostly inoffensive things)
basically it’s the best short-term option but I’m hesitant to do it because it’s definitely not the best long-term option
