Tina and Karl both went to the billboard yesterday!!!! There’s a picture of them together but it’s with a fan so I don’t want to repost it but half of salad gang was/is together in NYC! They look so good in their merch and their masks and I love love love Karl’s delicate pink and white nails.

I hope they enjoyed meeting and I know Karl has been getting some street food so hopefully they were able to spend sometime outside together safely. I don’t even know if that’s safe but if it is. Either way, I hope they both had fun, but especially Tina.

(I legit only said that because Tina and Jummy just broke up and I’m worried about her and so I hope she had a nice weekend to herself and with a friend in a new city. I hope she had fun but also got time to herself to cry or whatever she needs to do to process the breakup and be ready to stream when she comes back to LA later this week)

But that made me smile. I described Karl as sunshine and laughter in a frog hoodie today and I think it’s quite fitting.

Monday 22:07, Aalto Aapartments nº 25, Finish Street. Jean-Karl is packing some clean clothes and jummy food for the hospital stay, while Émilie is nervously wandering around the whole apartment. ÉMILIE: Mon cherie, please, be quick! It’s coming! JEAN-KARL: (from the bedroom) Come on, Éms. You’re just nervous. Chill out. ÉMILIE: I don’t! I can see the baby coming in any moment. And it’s gonna hurt! Jean-Karl goes from the bedroom to the living room and finds his pregnant wife nervously walking around the dining table. JEAN-KARL: Émilie, here. Sit down. ÉMILIE: But… JEAN-KARL: Sit down. Émilie eventually obeys and sits down in the couch. Jean-Karl sits by her side and grabs her hand. JEAN-KARL: I want you to take deep breaths with me. ÉMILIE: But… JEAN-KARL: Just do it. Jean-Karl takes a deep breath as an example and then Émilie repeats multiple times. After some repetitions, Émilie is calmer. JEAN-KARL: Better? Émilie nods with her head and Jean-Karl kisses her in the forehead. ÉMILIE: Let me help you finish packing. JEAN-KARL: No, it’s already done. Grab your coat, I’ll be here in a minute. When Jean-Karl and Émilie get up, Émilie feels something wet going down her pants. When she looks down she realises she just water broke. ÉMILIE: (frustrated) Oh no! Not in the new rug!

Bomb television producer Shonda Rhimes has another HIT on her hands. Netflix just announced plans for the upcoming 2nd season of the hit series about esteemed families of British high society and their romantic pursuits. The show is a TV adaptation of Julia Quinn’s popular books.

And what better way to deliver the news than via Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers gossip sheet.

"The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart to you: Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion,” Lady Whistledown wrote in the gossip sheet - just like in the series.

Production for Season 2 will begin this Spring in the UK!

"The incomparable cast of Bridgerton will return to production in the Spring of 2021. This author has been reliably informed that Lord Anthony Bridgerton intends to dominate the social season. I will have my pen ready to report on any and all of his romantic activities," she continued.

"However, gentle reader, before you set the comments section alight with requests for more sordid details, know that I am disinclined to report on the particulars at this time. Patience, after all, is a virtue."

It’s been speculated “Bridgerton” will end up receiving eight seasons and each season will chronicle each Bridgerton sibling’s journey to marriage. If true, Season 2 will chronicle the pursuit of a suitable marriage for the eldest Bridgerton sibling, Anthony (played by Jonathan Bailey).

Casting is underway for the new season since lots of new characters will be included in the upcoming series.

“We have a bunch of new characters we are going to be introducing,” creator Chris Van Dusen said announcing the renewal on “Today with Hoda & Jenna.” “Anthony is going to have a love interest next season, and I think it’s going to be as sweeping and moving and as beautiful as viewers of the first season have come to expect from the show.”

Season 1 centered around the eldest Bridgerton daughter, Daphne (played by Phoebe Dynevor), and her entanglement with the Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett (played by British hottie Regé-Jean Page). The first season was based on Quinn’s first book in the series, “The Duke and I.”

All together, the book series consists of eight novels. Each book chronicles the love life of one of the Bridgerton siblings.

News of a renewal wasn’t too much a surprise since the show became an instant success. Earlier this month, Netflix revealed over 63 million households watched the series in the first four weeks. It was released Christmas Day. With those numbers, “Bridgerton” became one of Netflix’s biggest original series launches…ever.

THIS! and I think brooke wanted to go see the billboard too but she knew people would start shit. because they’re all in a group chat the salad gang and they talked about it. it was planned. karl and tina both went. like they have to be careful bec people dont know what boundaries are. someone on twitter also said tina broke up with jummy because she’s into corpse or karl... and then deleted it after five minutes. yeah it’s hectic and I don’t like it. we love the brooke/corpse FRIENDSHIP and tina/karl. honestly all of their friendship. corpse deserves loving friends and it is so beyond sad his friends who are girls get attacked for it.

THIS! I’m sure Brooke wanted to go and meet Karl and Tina too but yeah, there’s definitely a history of people not knowing how to respect Brooke and Corpse’s friendship and it might be easier just to keep it online than take it offline quite yet. :/ 

Even Rae has to deal with it. I remember when she actually leaked their DMs and had to go and show that when he said he wanted something in response to her picture in just a t-shirt and fishnet it was that he wanted arm fishnets. It was clipped and reposted a lot and I think someone posted it with a thumbnail of Rae crying and it’s like... ugh. I hate the way some people act about Corpse and his friendships with girls. Like guys and girls can be just friends.

And it’s such a double standard. Corpse and Karl have late night calls, they talk to each other during mundane things like drive throughs, they play a lot together on and off stream.  You don’t see anyone thinking they’re a thing.  Which is good, because Corpse is straight but still. (Sykkuno is an exception to double standards obviously but there’s also a difference between shipping and actually thinking there’s romantic feelings IRL-not everyone is crazy). I just... Could go on a rant about all of this I think

But YES. Corpse deserves loving friendships and I hate that his female friends get attacked for simply getting close to him. That girls in general get attacked and accused for having feelings for getting close to guys. Like, it’s so unfair and sexist in my mind.
