I love them so much your honor. Look at the light colors and the bright surrounding and how they're both comfortable in light and under such a sot blanket and in such an informal place. This is a home. They're on a couch bed. There is nothing rich here, nothing about money and power and influence, just two men in love sharing popcorn and watching dramas and being together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just in love and happy and comfortable, together and knowing that they chose each other. That they built this family. No longer constantly seeking approval that will never come or attention that can only hurt but loving. Being loved. Staying loved.
Tumblr media
AND A KISS.
A tiny kiss!
Sweet and quick and full to the brim of love and silliness and freedom for them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They might have given up a lot of things, but they gained so much more than gave up. No matter what.
I love them so much. I'm so glad with the story we got for them and I just... I love them so much. I will miss them.

Great character building. Great relationship building. Convincing love story. Beautiful bed scene (even if it was one bed scene, it's still satisfying for me馃榿). Tragic young couple. Complex and ambiguous adult couple. Beautiful and talented girls couple. All couples being hot and bright.
Charn's hyper complex personality, combining childish and cynical features. Tinn's wholesome, healthy, decent personality, generous of warmth, kindness and trust. Both characters' charm, charisma, beauty and hotness. Their true feelings, their true love. Clingy Charn welcomed by Tinn. Always welcomed by him, always ready to accept what his bad lawyer gonna do next.
All of these is the reason why I love Laws of Attraction and consider it definitely the outstanding bl story.

They grew up together. They've been together long enough to have played with the gardener when they were young. Thee still thinks of a packed lunch as something he will never be able to repay him. Thee has obviously watched Tanthai be pushed to the place he is now, watched him go from someone who changed a fellow child's life with a packed lunch and played with the gardener to an abused, damaged and lashing out young man who is simply so hurt he feels empty.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thee cannot ever pay back a packed lunch but he also can't run with him. Because running with him risks losing him forever. If they run together and get caught, what happens? They lose. They lose everything, even this painful time together and even Tanthai's anger and drinking and pain. Thee would be gone and he'd be unable to be any kind of presence, to check on him, to look at him and be there to try to defend him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think the most painful part is that Tanthai desperately seeks out comfort from Thee that he can only ever half get, that Thee cannot give him the comfort he wants both because of the chains on them from his father and because Tanthai has been too hurt to accept what Thee feels he can offer. And the half-measures of comfort only hurt more in the end and so Tanthai hurts Thee to try to stop the pain, hurts everyone around him to try to stop his own pain.
(Tanthai would fall over if Thee just pulled him into a hug and didn't get go when he started to protest but Thee can't do that because he is the servant, he is the one below him, he has no power and Tanthai tries to wear his golden chains as power the best he can.)
Tanthai is as absolute asshole and constantly getting himself in trouble to prove the point his father is constantly making. If what he does doesn't matter than he might as well just do the worst things possible because at least it gets him something. And Thee is always there. Thee never leaves.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's why the preview for next week hurt so much. Because Tanthai believing that Thee would leave him if he wasn't being paid is the ultimate proof of how much he's been hurt. He's screaming out for any kind of reassurance and this time Thee has to give him something.
Tumblr media
Thee has never repaid that packed lunch. Thee has never forgotten them playing together. Thee has never left Tanthai's side. Thee is the last and frayed link Tanthai has to his humanity and Thee cannot let that link break. Or he will lose the person he loves the most, the person he owes the most.
Tumblr media
The history between them, that we know so little about, is the key to what really happened that night and Thee is the only one who can truly tell us what happened... and he will have to do it to protect Tanthai.

It's the way they look and don't touch and when they do touch it's nothing like what they want and it's the pain that bleeds off both of them, the pain of emptiness and the pain of love and the way they're trapped together, cages and chains, gold and iron, one wanting to escape through death and the other holding onto him too tight to keep them together knowing that anything less may set them apart forever.

Just two working class guys taking out an entire group of elite bodyguards for the chance to rescue their deeply traumatized, hurt and self-sacrificing lovers who need them in their lives to keep them safe and give them a chance at any light in the future.
That's all.
Not my heart on literal display as they fight for any chance at the future they so desperately want and love.

Thee is running out of arguments. For all that he fears losing Tanthai by trying to run with him, by earning the wrath of his father, he sees that the man he loves is starting to break and he cannot let him give up. Thee has been trying to protect the little he feels they can have but is realizing that the threat is bigger than he thought.
And he is going to try to save Tanthai and he is going to lose what little they have trying to save him, isn't he? Because he is the only one who can rescue him but he cannot rescue him without also betraying his father.

It's about acknowledging that you're falling in love versus a desperate loyalty forged in abuse and chains.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's about the smiles and the joy versus the worry and anger, the happiness that is being discovered and the pain that has never ended.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's about the sincerety and the openness and the joy and the slow, sad, pained love that cannot be expressed.
It's red and yellow and warm versus blue and white and cold.
It's a bow tied by a man you love versus ropes on a shirt made by a stranger.
It's coming together because someone laid claim on your relationship versus the silence that cannot be broken without risking everything.
It's the parallel and the contrast and the colors and the lines.
(Charn and Tinn are in public, in a club, being serenaded and with Tinn just having claimed Charn and saving him from leaving with a stranger. Thee and Tanthai are in a car, alone, Tanthai drunk after finding out that a figure from their past was blamed to save him. Thee might have made sure he was taken out of the club but he cannot lay claim no matter how much Tanthai wants that.)
I love both these couples and the deeply fucked up nature of so much but I am absolute trash for the abused prince and his whipping boy bodyguard, for the way Tanthai is begging Thee to take him away from everything but Thee is so afraid of the risk that entails and that possibility of losing him forever that he cannot even try. Thee knows that if he does anything, if he acts on saving Tanthai, that he could very easily never see him again. But Tanthai knows his father is planning to end him to America. Where he very likely never will see Thee again.
The question of separation is not longer just a risk but a reality.
Charn and Tinn's issues are internal, their world view and moral values as opposition to each other despite the love and lust they feel for each other. Their fight is with their own growth and with their own lives and it is between them.
Thee and Tanthai's issues are external, the abuse and their status and the dangers inherent in a powerful father and a bodyguard with nothing to do but lose. Their fight is not so much a fight as a losing battle that neither of them has the power to change without risking everything... as little as that everything is.

It's all about the eyes. How Tanthai looks at Thee and walks to him and how Thee stares back the entire time. They are both bleeding out their with desperation but they are chained and caged and there is no escape for them together.
Thee, can you take me away from here? I don't want to stay here anymore.
Mr. Thatthep won't let you go anywhere.
You work for my dad. You're paid by him. Naturally, you should listen to him.
Thee, I thought you were on my side.
Tumblr media
Thee is doing his best to be on Tanthai's side but the only way to do that is to be at his side and the only way to be there is to keep obeying his father because if he disobeys, he can be taken away. He could leave Tanthai alone. And that... that is unimaginable.
Trapped in this cage of abuse and agony, Tanthai is seeking any escape but Thee is just trying to be sure they survive so they can be together as best they can be, however that might look.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tanthai is giving up the fight that has been his entire life but Thee is fighting to keep him at his side, to fight the emptiness that threatens his young master the best he can. He bleeds that love from his eyes that Tanthai cannot even begin to feel.

This entire scene is so masterful and so perfect for these two. For Tanthai who is constantly lashing out from fear and pain and rejection and Thee who is just trying to be at his side in a position where he could be fired at any moment and must both obey his boss and try to be there in the aftermath for the young master he loves.
Tanthai truly sees no way out of his chains and cage besides death. He is as prepared as anyone can be to simply die at the hands of his father. He wants to trust Thee and believe in an escape but Thee isn't giving him any hope of a way out and so he has given up.
This is especially powerful after his father told him to simply turn himself in, to go to jail, to trade the gilded chains and cage for a real one. Tanthai sees no way out of this. He has no escape. He has no choices. He can't walk out the door, there are too many guards who simply wouldn't let him. He can't change his path, he's stuck in a position that leaves him with nothing but jail or death.
And this is why I think he didn't actually do what he's being accused of and why I think the true person to blame from Tonkhao's death is his father. Which is why the stuffed dog is so important. There's some kind of evidence there.
But yes. I love them so much. Tanthai is viscous, a trapped and abused animal who will hurt anyone if it takes away just a bit of his fear and pain while Thee stands at his side and takes what he can but knows that taking too much will mean he is taken away entirely and he cannot protect Tanthai if he isn't there.

Hello agony.
Oh, Tanthai. This is the first real glimpse we've gotten of him that shows the past, that shows us the real pain and what he's trying to escape. Because he is scared and he is lashing out but he's doing all of it trying to escape himself but you can't escape yourself, you can't.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That is just the most painful smile ever. This is a young man who's been abused and been forced to take the blame and forced into a horrible spot and he's not kind but there's something there, there's so much there and he has nothing he can do, no power but his father's power sits on him like a weight.
Tumblr media
Thee is trying so hard to help Tanthai but the truth is that Tinn is right. The only thing that can help him now is the truth. That's all there is. The truth has to come out and that is all that can help him. He needs to get away from his father and the truth needs to come out and that, that will help him.
(Honestly, if Thee went with him, sending Tanthai to America wouldn't be the worst thing. He'd be farther from his father and in a place where he could at least by physically safe and that's a first step in protecting himself.)
Tumblr media
Thee is the only safe person that Tanthai can lash out at all, the only person who can't (and won't) throw anything back in his face. Thee's love has made this place for Tanthai, the one place he can express himself truly, but because of their class difference and because Thee is basically a whipping boy it means that he's safe but he's also paid and so Tanthai cannot trust that safety as much he wants to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The hollow eyes. The blank smile. The struggles to realize that he is part of this monstrous machine that hurts people and keeps people in poverty and kills children and he can't do a thing about it because his father's power is not his own. Who would Tanthai be if he wasn't trapped in this gilded cage of abuse and meaningless wealth?
Tumblr media
Thee knows who he would be. Thee sees that in him. And he will not give up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tanthai and Charn are competing to figure out which smile can hurt the most, dear lord.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The absolute misery and sarcasm are strong with him and I love him so much. All he needs is one crying breakdown in Thee's arms... I mean, honestly, he doesn't even need that. He's just absolutely glorious. Damaged and angry and hurt and struggling and hating that this takes him out of the spotlight and that he's hurting more and more people for something he didn't even do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No one talks about dying more than Tanthai. No one. This man is ready to die and be released from everything he's trapped in but Thee just won't let him go but also won't give him what he needs. Which is more. Which is a chance to escape. Which is the truth.
Tanthai is begging to be set free but the only freedom he can imagine at this point is death. He begged Thee to run away with him and got nothing and now there's no other way to escape this. There's nothing else. There's no other escape from his father.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Every time. Every single time, Tanthai is waiting for something from Thee. But Thee never gives it to him. Thee doesn't give him the comfort or the freedom he wants. Not death, not running away, not even reassurance. Thee simply is... there.
Thee may love Tanthai but he isn't able to give him that love. By virtue of his job, by virtue of his position, by virtue of his own chains, he always leaves Tanthai unable to escape and unable to be helped.
Thee is the only chance Tanthai has at escape and love and safety but they're both trapped here and Thee is more afraid of what escape might mean than the freedom it might grant.

Oh, they're so fucked up and I love them so much and I doubt we get a happy ending for them and I've accepted my anticipated pain but I love them so much. Thee is just filled to the brim with love for Tanthai and their entire past together but he's trapped by their positions and his own responsibilities and fears to never, ever say anything but to do his best to protect him regardless and just... oh, I love it. I love them. My beloveds.

I'm sorry, this man's eyes are some of the most expressive I've ever seen and I love him so much and I want to know his story on every level and I love every little tease we get of what was between them before all of this happened.
Tanthai is not as he seems and nothing is as it seems. There is nothing that happened the way it appears and what lurks beneath the surface is so much deeper and murkier and impossible to pin down.
(But also please I need more of them every single second of this show.)
