hi! May I ask why you like Arcane? I've been thinking of watching it bc I like the art style and apparent character dynamics but I'm not a huge action fan (oof I sound so boring lmao) so I don't know if it'd really be for me. would you recommend it only to certain folks or just in general??

To be honest, I don't know how to truly put into words just how much I really love and adore Arcane!

I might be incredibly forward by saying this, but Arcane has got to be the most amazing, compelling, and emotional piece of media that I have truly enjoyed and become enamored with in a very long time!

One of the things that I really enjoyed about the series is of course the characters! Over the years I have watched, seen, read, and played so many things where I might like a character or a handful of characters, or I absolutely couldn't stand any of the characters so I would end up dropping out of the series/game/movies/ect. Arcane is one of the rare few pieces of media where I fell in love with practically all the characters, and something like that doesn't happen often for me. The characters from this series are so well-crafted, so beautifully complex that I found myself loving every one of them because they all had a very interesting story to tell based on their respective arc and narratives both individually, as well as with other characters in the mix.

Arcane, in my opinion, does well to avoid making the characters one-dimensional or basically making them out to be one big cliche/trope, which unfortunately a lot of things in media falls prey to one way or another, even the ones that I still found myself enjoying as well.

The dynamics between the characters were absolutely phenomenal as well because it showed the audience the dynamics and relationships between family, friends, lovers, and of course two sides opposing one another.

Also, the animation for the characters is so freaking amazing! They seem so human-like based on the way that they move, talk, and some of the characters are even shown to have little quirks in their behavior and mannerisms that are so specific to them respectively.

The overall narrative for this series is so incredible as well! Instead of going for a simple good vs evil model of story telling, this series is very much about looking in between the lines instead of just looking at everything at face value, and that not everything that goes on within the story is not simply black or white but very much grey.

The artistic style and music for this series is absolutely gorgeous as well! I found myself in a state of awe by the sheer beauty of the setting, the character designs, and the soundtrack in ways I honestly cannot describe!

You can really tell with this series that the creators have put in so much time, love, and care towards this project and it really shows!

So, even if you are not a huge fan of action, there are still so many other things that I'm sure that you'll enjoy about it in the long run, so I would still heavily recommend Arcane to you and any one else who might be the slightest bit interested in checking this series out~! 😊❤️
