Anyway I just think that if the Nords want the freedom to worship Talos, then they should be alright with the freedom of ALL religions in the elder scrolls franchise.
No more Vigilants of Stendarr, as many races worship the Daedra- Orcs and Dunmer being some who immediately come to mind. To deny Daedra worship is to deny the Orsimer and Dunmer of their cultural practices.
Speaking of the Dunmer- the Tribunal would have to be formally recognized as gods too, as even in life they were referred to as the 'living gods'.
Likewise one could make an argument that the Dwemer as a whole could have achieved godhood when they disappeared, and so that would have to be accepted if enough people chose to worship them.
And Mannimarco, King of worms- a Lich who ascended to godhood after an attempt to trick Molag Bal himself.
Ysgramor, who made modern Skyrim into what it is today by killing/driving out the elves in an epic battle as revenge for their attack on Sarthal.
Pelinal Whitestrake, who aided the Slave Queen Alessia in overthrowing their elven slavers and freeing an entire race of men.
I could very much continue.
In short, the Nords would have to accept all of these as potential gods that people can worship without persecution. Because freedom of religion is freedom of ALL religion, even those you don't agree with.

BONELAB Walkthrough and Puzzles

Welcome to our BONELAB Walkthrough and Puzzles guide. A review of the top five levels in Bonelab. We hope this helps! We will upload other parts soon. #BONELAB
BONELAB Walkthrough and Puzzles
A review of the top five levels in Bonelab. After level 01 and some puzzles, we realized that many people had a hard time figuring out what to do, and we decided to take a step. We hope this helps! We will upload other parts soon. BONELAB Walkthrough & Beginner Tips - Log in and play three of the six minigames available in BONELAB when you first spawn. - When you're done, go to the center of the area. There's a ladder there that leads to a generator and what looks like a map. 3.Insert the two batteries nearby in the generator. - Use the "Crane" to place the three "Core Keys" into their respective slots near you, you can tell which ones to grab by seeing the light rise up into the sky (like the mysterious light box for YouZombies- fans) 4a. A tip for using the crane, the button turns the magnet on and off, the left lever goes up and down and the right one is directional. 5.Go through the quarantine gate. - ??? - Take advantage. One more thing, for those of you who on earth can't figure out how to get the collectibles out of the ball, just grab it with both hands and pull it apart. How to Collect Items in Bonelab Simple Steps: - Explore - Find shiny blue balls in sneaky places - Grab with two hands - Spread hands - Enjoy dopamine hit This wasn’t explained well in the game, and with the lack of reclemation bins, I thought I just had to grab them to collect till about level 6. How to backflip in Bonelab Stretch your muscles before you jump to prevent injuries. After a quick 25-minute cardio warmup, stretch your arms, legs, chest, and back. You can do any stretches, as long as they target the right muscle groups. Here are some stretches for you try: Do a forward bend to stretch all of your muscles. Stand up straight with your feet together, then bend slowly down toward the floor. Reach out to touch the floor with your fingers. To stretch your arms, bring one arm up over your head, reaching toward the sky. Bend your arm at your elbow so it’s parallel to the back of your head. Then, use your other hand to pull your elbow gently toward your head. Repeat on the other side. Find a soft surface, such as a gymnastics mat or foam pit. A backflip is an advanced move, so it usually takes time to master it. You need to be on a soft surface to minimize your risk of injury. A gymnastics mat or foam pit is the best surface, but sand or grass may also work. As another option, you may prefer starting on flat ground, which provides some give and helps you build momentum. However, don’t try your flip on flat ground if you have trouble controlling the width of your jumps. If you’re new to backflips, don’t attempt to do one on a hard surface, especially concrete. If you’re having trouble getting enough height, start from a raised surface, such as a mat that isn’t too hard, and flip into a soft pit Use a spotter for maximum safety. Since a backflip is an advanced move, it can be dangerous to complete, especially at first. It’s important that you have someone there who can watch your jump and potentially help you. At the very least, make sure someone is with you to call for help if you get hurt. If you lose your balance and fall, it’s possible that you will not be able to get yourself help. It can also help to practice on a trampoline before you try a standing back tuck on the floor. This makes it easier to get the height you need so you can practice the proper form for the flip. fink why do you hate people using "queer" so much?
i??? don’t hate people using it???
u can use it if u want to just don’t use it for those who say they don’t want to be called that
like i kinda…i dunno..connect that word with someone who i can’t even mention by name without either panicking or saying i want to jam my thumbs in his eyes, so if someone uses it to describe me i will probably either politely correct them or if they do it repeatedly they will have to square up and meet me in the pit
however, if people wanna use it to describe themselves it’s fine by me. i have the word blacklisted for myself so yea h
literally idc if u use it just don’t force it onto other people

Barbara Gordon 🔥
Tbh I don't think any of my opinions on Babs are unpopular, at least not in the circles I run in. Maybe that I think that rewriting the way she was paralyzed in order to give her 'more agency' is like... a lot less interesting to me than her canon arc? Obviously the Killing Joke is a misogynistic mess, but Kim Yale and John Ostrander did a fantastic job of ripping it apart at the seams and acknowledging that in their creation of Oracle.
The POINT of Oracle was that it was a way to reclaim her agency after it was so violently taken from her. I get the urge to rewrite the way she was paralyzed to give her more agency in it, but it fundamentally changes her narrative in a way that I don't necessarily think is for the positive. Barbara was done with being a hero prior to The Killing Joke; if she'd been paralyzed in a way that gave her any agency at all in it, I'm not sure if she would've felt the need to become Oracle at all, honestly. You can definitely pull it off! But like... to me, at least, what makes Oracle so compelling is the deconstruction of misogynistic tropes, and the reclemation of agency as a disabled woman. By just sidestepping all that, you have made her narrative a lot less interesting to me. Oracle isn't Batgirl 2.0: Wheelchair Edition. It's a completely new thing born out of Barbara's desire to reclaim her life and agency. If you never take her agency away to begin with, you loose that narrative entirely, and with it, the point of Oracle.
So yeah. As unpleasant as it is, I do think that disabling Barbara in a way that gives her no choice in it, in a way that's entirely devoid of meaning, just makes her narrative better in the long run.

Thinking about making some eso chars who follow certain dadera/aedra. Sorvathis is going thru a madness/bastardization arc and gonna be into Sheo, Psydoe is a little bosmer gremlin so I'll have him become a werewolf at some point, Lurbuk has accidentally gone on a spiritual journey and now worships Azura, I might make Morianwe an Auri-El fan because the contrast of a necromancer being a beacon of light is COOL AS FUCK, definitely gonna make Ji an Akatosh stannie, a safe option but an option nonetheless, the second whore orc is gonna obvs love Mora when the DLC comes out,,,,what other gods would make for a cool follower playstyle?

Giving slush a PK for verbal translation a great idea! I might do something similar using a mock texting app with PC n other object friends -- the app makes it super easy to switch between 'users' :) I believe it's calling SelfTalking and is on app store and Google play; it's great for systems as well in my opinion! ~ build-a-buddy
oh wow i might look into this, thats great!! i doubt my current phone will be able to handle it though because its even missing tumblr from the app store but hopefully when i get a new phone i will be able to get this!!
i was really surprised to see how much... crisper? it was to visually read the things hes communicating. he also seems pretty happy with this, he's very excited to make internet friends with other sapient objects in the server LOL
the pluralkit set up was also a lot easier than i thought it would be (mostly just time consuming cuz i kept messing up) but im really happy i was finally able to use our collective name in something; the Fruits Basket! of course we're not a system so using my old system's name was obviously inappropriate (nor would i want to anyways.) Fruits Basket as homage to me being mentally ill (sort of a reclemation/positive type reference) and because i'm a strawberry pup and he's a banana pup. pretty fitting!

aaand i have to flex the description i made too because its cute and i like it LOL
also please say hello from us to PC!!

Do you think synths ever feel sad that they never had a childhood and never will have one? Or is it just a fact they don't care about? I know those with fake memories of one probably feel conflicted.
It depends on the individual. Some of my people never worry about the things they can’t control, because it brings them more comfort to focus on what they can do, rather than what they can’t. Some of them are curious about the differences between themselves and their human ‘doners’, but ultimately decide that whatever childhood they had is one they’re very glad to put behind them.Others however.. well it’s a spectrum, not a divide, but some of my people have struggled for years to accept themselves for who they are now. Their differences from how they remember being, and what it means to be a synth. I won’t name any names, but a few of my friends feel cheated out of the chance to discover what kinds of people they actually are, because all their early lives they were told to behave in ways the humans around them thought they should. The Institute treats us at best as useful copies, at worst as mere tools to complete tasks they’d rather not perform themselves. There’s no room for personal growth.Whenever I encounter someone who’s confused about their identity, I encourage them to think of themselves as children. They’re still learning, discovering who they are. They shouldn’t hold themselves to the same standards as a fully formed adult. Just because they have adult bodies, intelligence and cognisance equivalent to a fully developed mind, they’ve never had the chance to observe the world without a burden of responsibility on their shoulders. It doesn’t mean they should run wild and live completely according to their emotions, but everyone needs some time to develop, without judgement. If some of my people want to begin again, forgive themselves for mistakes while they find out how to interact with the world, then I’ll give them that opportunity. I try to guide them if I can, but sometimes all they need is freedom to choose. Every synth has that stripped from them early on. It’s a reclamation of sorts.

Wednesday 5th, Research proposal: First Draft
Title
Evil Kweens: A Queer Look At The History Of Villains And Monsters In Animation And Film
 Report type
Extended essay
 Proposed table of contents
 The Hays Code
 -       Guidelines are technically voluntary, in practice the major Hollywood audios used the Hays Code guidelines as convince the means of staving off pressure groups
 -       Directly influenced the content of almost every American film made between 1930 and 1966
Queer-coding and Queer-baiting with focus on Disney and modern media
 -       both are issues for the LGBTQIA+ community as they seek to capitalize on these marginalized groups
 -       Queer-baiting: portraying an obviously queer relationships with the use of cues and subtext without acknowledging it or perhaps even gas lighting it.
 -       Queer-coding: writing a character with queer stereotypes as a form of representation without explicitly acknowledging that the character is queer.
Queer-coding isn’t always bad. It’s all about the creators’ intentions.
Queer-baiting however is pretty much always harmful.
-       Disney villains
Lycanthropy and other monstrous subtext/ parallels. Allegory or myth?
-       talk about werewolf’s (Teen Wolf, Harry Potter, Buffy)
-       Frankenstein (Mary Shelly, Rocky Horror Picture Show,
 Question
Is representation of LGBT individuals in animation and other forms of entertaining media good for the community or just a way for corporate big wigs to swindle money from hopeful queer people who would pay to see at least one shred of a character who is like them?
 Limitations
-       it may be hard for me to stay objective given that I’m in the LGBT community myself
 -       risk of outdated sources and temporal context problems. A project of its time will certainly play a part but more importantly the LGBT community is quite fickle it changes a lot as new identities and constructs get introduced so it may be hard to find a viable source.
 Background
The Hays code was published in 1930 and was based on three general principles:
 -       no picture shall be produced that will lower the moral standards of those who see it. Hence the sympathy of the audience should never be thrown to the side of crime, wrongdoing, evil or sin.
 -       correct standards of life, subject only to the requirements of drama entertainment, shall be presented.
 -       Law, natural or human, shall not be included, nor shall sympathy be created for its violation.
These were developed in a series of rules grouped under the self-explanatory headings Crimes Against The Law, Sex, Vulgarity, Obscenity, Profanity, Costume Dances (I.e. suggestive movements), Religion, Locations (I.e. the bedroom) National Feelings, Titles and Repellent Subjects''  (extremely graphic violence)
Typical features of queer- coded characters
 -       high cheekbones
 -       thin bodies
 -       feminine beauty
 -       dramatic of voice and actions
 -       male characters may talk or sing in falsetto or have camp ness to their voice and a female character will most likely have a deeper voice (Maleficent, Evil Queen, Ursula- who is actually based on a drag queen)
 -       these characters may also drag out their words and walk about at though slinking (Scar, the Lion King)
 Examples or queer-baiting
-       Myka Bearing and H.G. Wells (Warehouse13, SYFY)
Warehouse13 took a hit in ratings after its fourth season, meaning its fifth only had 6 episodes. It seemed to queer fans in particular that Myka and HG had a blossoming romance. It was even confirmed in the last episode that HG is indeed Bisexual but also in the last episode, Myka ends up with series long partner who at many points has been akin to the brother she never had. Their relationship was definitely flirtatious and I'm not saying that closing out the electric romantic arc between them would have saved the show, it was cancelled anyway, but It would have been nice since the interactions that HG and Myka had were actually what pushed fans to secure the final season. However you can’t be too mad as the show does have probably one of the best portrayals of a gay character on tv.
 -       Sherlock and John Watson ( Sherlock, BBC)
 -       Captain America and Bucky Barnes (MCU)
 -       Spock and Kirk ( Star Trek, NBC)
 -       Emma and Regina (Ounce Upon A Time, ABC)
 -       Stiles and Derek ‘Sterek’ (Teen Wolf, MTV)
 -       Merlin and Arthur ‘Merthur’ (Merlin, BBC)
 -       Dean and Castiel (Supernatural, ABC)
 Lycanthropy
-       seems to be synonymous with the homosexuality- parallels between teen Wolf and Buffy the vampire slayer’s respective coming out scenes
 -       the Queer-ness of Professor Lupin from the Harry Potter Franchise- J.K Rowling has admitted that Lupin’s Lycanthropy is a metaphor for AIDS/ HIV but has further dismissed fans’ theories that Lupin is Queer.
 -       Homophobia and HIV- homophobia acts as a major barrier to ending the AIDS crisis and at the beginning of the AIDS epidemic, gay men were so my led out to receive abuse as many believed they were responsible for transmitting the disease.
 Overall aims
 -       explore the impact of queer-baiting on queer communities
 -       investigate true intentions behind the Hays Code
 -       Make people aware of what’s good representation and what’s bad representation.
 Research methods
I plan to use relevant books and articles. I will also be looking to Disney films from the Disney renaissance era and looking into monster stories such as the Wolfman and Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein's Monster, paying close attention to subtext and possible parallels as well as comparing them with more modern sources such as Harry Potter and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
These are appropriate methods of research because they will allow me to get others’ perspectives on the topic and allow me to analyze the villains and monsters in detail and give me visual material to talk about deeply.
 Potential outcomes
 -       The research will be helpful for me because it will allow me to increase my awareness on a subject that I am already passionate about and interested in.
 -       in a wider context this may help more people to understand the meaning and history behind the characteristics of their favorite villain and any possible subtext that may be lurking beneath them.
 -       educate those that are unaware or the issues queer-baiting and queer-coding pose.

i completely understand if you don’t want to argue this further, so feel free to ignore if that’s the case: queer is a slur, and is still used as one. however, queer has been reclaimed by (most) of the lgbtq+ community, and many use it to describe their identity. radfems brought the idea that “queer is a slur and should never be used ever” to exclude those people
I hope you understand that that still sounds very weird, slur reclaiming is a personal thing and you are entirely allowed to PERSONALLY reclaim a slur for your identity, but the moment you move to try and make it an umbrella term when many LGBT people have shown to not be comfortable with being called a still prevelent slur is when you cross the line. This isn't "don't reclaim anything ever!!" Its "learn to understand what reclemation is and is not".
Many lesbians have reclaimed the word "Dyke" for themselves and has evolved it into an identity, but we still work in a space where we don't actively call others dykes without warrant. Its still a slur and if people don't wanna be called it you shouldn't call them it, doesn't matter what your PERSONAL identity related to it is.
LGBT people are allowed to be uncomfortable with being called a slur unprompted, and the community at whole has not come to a consensus on this because that's minimizing the expansiveness of the community outside and inside of the internet. Genuine people within the community have come together to say " if you wanna reclaim it, ok, but don't call us it without our permission."
And you know why? Because if "queer" is an identity to you, why would you call an expansive amount of people it? Dyke is an identity to me, but I'm not gonna assume the entire lesbian community also sees "dyke" as an identity and call them that without permission. If your concept of "queer" as an identity is just "gay", you can just say gay/LGB. An identity comes with it's own nuance and therefore shouldn't be used as an umbrella term for a community of different identities ( for instance, genderqueer is a good presentation of queer as an identity, because not everybody who is Not Cis can fall under that label; it's its own identity).
So yeah, queer is still a slur and reclamation of a slur doesn't mean it's no longer a slur and you can just destroy boundaries and call people it unwarranted, and that's my stance.

Llamalo y darle tranquilidad a tu corazón. Y recuerda sólo saber cómo está el... No le reclemes ni nada solo pregunta como están las cosas.
