The Original Ocean's Eleven
Watch this one instead of the 2001 reboot. This one is cool. If you're into 1960's aesthetic and 1960's cool, then this one is for you. The original has the Rat Pack, with Dean Martin singing Kick in the Head.

The night The Rat Pack humiliated Eddie Fischer
I found a 1961 Photoplay Magazine article about the unfortunate, HUGE episode, of the Rat Pack interrupting Eddie Fisher's performance at Cocoanut Grove in 1961. On this occasion there was also a very brief reunion of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis witnessed as you know from a video. I'm just sharing some screeshots and the link to the full article which is quite long.
The highlights in my opinion are:
The Rat Pack entering making silence around them. They were powerful and they knew it.
Sinatra referred to as "The Leader", Dean Martin "The Admiral" and the other three ONLY "LOYAL FOLLOWERS". In practice whoever wrote the article the Rat Pack consisted only of Sinatra and Martin.
NO ONE but Jerry and George Jessel defend Eddie Fisher. Not even Milton Berle has the courage to say anything. EVERYONE WAS AFRAID OF SINATRA AND DEAN MARTIN. Everyone EXCEPT Jerry who most of all should have kept quiet. Instead he actually stands up, AND NOTICE HE WAS SITTING BEHIND DEAN SO CLOSE TO HIM, and tries to defend Eddie while also getting the approving applause from the audience.
OUTSIDER. Either he was totally crazy to challenge Sinatra (who loved Jerry but we all know how cruel he could get when he felt humiliated in some way and Sinatra could represent together with Sammy one of the points of contact with Dean) or there is something very strange.. . He was one of the very few WHO DIDN'T FEAR THE RAT PACK WHICH WAS VERY POWERFUL AT THAT TIME, more powerful than Jerry himself (who was alone).
