"Sansa was a lady at three, always courteous and eager to please. She loved nothing so we'll as tales of knightly valor. Men would say she had my look but she will grow into a woman far more beautiful than I ever was, you can see that." - Caitlyn Stark

So, Sansa's trending on Twitter because of a dumb ass post. But guess what the good news is? Most people there are rushing to defend her and call out the original poster's absolute stupidity and lack of media literacy.
Maybe society is finally evolving.

One of the funniest thing about Sophie Turner's divorce is that it is pretty much the first time in 4 years in which Game of Thrones fans bring up the show to talk about something OUTSIDE of how bad the finale is

I love how despite being called stupid, naive, evil and cunning, Sansa's narrative on honour, knighthood, duty and good rulership is still used in the ASOIAF universe. Her idealism is both ridiculed and applied to other characters to prop them up, and this is sometimes done together by the same people, it's wild.

I love Sansa but I think she’s going to go mad. She’ll get to Winterfell thinking she’s going to be Queen in the North but the Northerners will prefer Rickon and Arya to her and then the spirit of Theon the Hungry Wolf will possess her and she’ll poison everyone in the castle, put their heads on spikes and join the Others as their Queen. She’ll remember her love for her family when she sees Jon and then she’ll kill the Others before going out in a blaze of glory.

It’s a wonder to Sansa how drastically a mood can change within a castle in such a short amount of time. Three days ago, the Northerners had been serious and single-minded as they prepared for battle against the army of the dead. Even the very young and the very old, the sick and the broken, and the Queen of the North herself — all who gathered near the center of the castle in one of the chambers the dead were least likely to perforate — they were serious and single-minded too. They had held hands and prayed to their gods to save them, each refusing to succumb to fear. Two days ago, the mood in the castle gave way to grief. Thousands died during the battle, leaving thousands more to mourn them. They stood outside the gates of Winterfell, cold air swirling around their bodies, warm tears rolling down their cheeks as they lit the pyres one row at a time. Watching the flames, Sansa reminded herself she had less to mourn than most. Her family and her council members remained by her side. But she grieved for Theon Greyjoy and Beric Dondarrion who sacrificed their lives so others might live and for Alys Karstark and little Lyanna Mormont whose Houses ended with their deaths. Yesterday, grief lingered but was not quite so palpable as the day before. Announcements were made about the future of the North, some of them significant enough to sway the mood in the castle. “A vote will be held to determine the new lords or ladies of Karhold and Mormont Keep,” Sansa told her kingdom. “The Knights of the Vale will soon depart to return to their homes. The Free Folk will be allowed to settle in the region known as the Gift. The Wall and the Night’s Watch will be rebuilt with Cotter Pyke as their Lord Commander — “ And I will soon take a husband, my cousin Jon Snow. She made the last announcement after a long pause in which she let the truth wrap around her heart. It did not come as a surprise to those who listened. As her lady mother had always said, there are no secrets in a castle. And now today — tonight —  the Northerners’ seriousness and diluted grief is temporarily set aside. Because tonight they are meant to celebrate. They won the battle. They saved their kingdom and the rest of Westeros. That makes this an occasion to feast, and drink, and sing, and dance. And toast. “To Arya Stark, the hero of Winterfell!” Sansa cheers for her younger sister as loudly as anyone else in the great hall, though her attention is still partially on Jon. She’d been trying to persuade him to dance with her before the interruption. “Don’t you think you’ve had too much wine for that, Your Grace?” he teases. “Perhaps you ought to stay off your feet, keep from rolling one of those pretty little ankles of yours.” Sansa has had a bit too much wine, though not half as much as Jon. For the first time in ages — as long as she’s known him, really — he seems carefree, willing to indulge in some fun. And why shouldn’t he? The threat of the dead is finally behind him. “I know you hated dancing when we were children,” she says, pouting playfully, “but I hoped I’d be able to persuade you anyway.” “Because you’re my queen?” “Because I’m your betrothed.” Jon grins, then rests her forehead against Sansa’s. He moves his hand to her neck. Thinking he’s about to kiss her, her heart begins to race. He’s done it properly, on the lips, only once before. It happened under rather different circumstances, when a rather different mood captured the castle, but she’d liked it enough to eagerly anticipate the next time.  [Read the rest here.]
