Splatoon Music Catalogue Number 7: ω-3

So, before we begin I want you all to know it was not easy to get my hands on this music, I had to do several Salmon Run shifts just to find an alive salmonid, much less one with an ω-3 album, plus interacting with one is *very* illegal, so I risked life and limb for this, okay little tangent over, actual catalogue time.

The band is comprised of 3 members that play music during Salmon Run shifts, and are idolized for being “fatty”(apparently salmonids being tasty is important in salmonid culture)

During the Big Run at Wahoo World, they debuted their new song, or rather a remix of C-Side’s Clickbait(I don’t know if they had permission to or not, it is a good remix, though)

The Valiant Green Flame Born in Jigokunidai on timpani(who doesn’t care for others)

The Faithful Servant of the True Salmon Emperor Hizunamasu who is the trio’s dj(the youngest of the trio, they have a rough temper and disrespectful additude towards pretty much anything)

And The Firstborn Child of Alkyne, the Hidden Blade of Yakiharas on cello(the oldest of the trio, they’re very stubborn and doesn’t listen to anyone. They do have a delicate side, however)

My favorite song from ω-3 would have to be Fishing Frenzy, so much in fact it’s in my Turf War playlist.

DOES in fact mean that we’ll be getting a new king salmonid, not for the cool variety and possible new mode to go along with it. but purely so my boy, the faithful servant of the true salmon emperor hizunamasu, from hit splatband ω-3, can finally be relevant

any crumbs of salmonid lore are a meal to me but i want them to elaborate on this vaguely implied power struggle so so bad
