Finished the p4 anime tonight and i loved it. It made me laugh so much and gives Yu a lot of character. And there's so much souyo propoganda like holy shit, yosuke saves yu THREE TIMES and yosuke's s link rank 10 REALLY set it up for if you replaced him saying "i want you to hit me" with "i love you" it would not feel unnatural with any of the prior dialogue. There's also smaller stuff (*cough* school festival *cough*) and it's all so funny. I think watching the anime was a rly good idea because it gave me more p4 content and it was generally a fun time.

It makes me sad that the anime messed up Teddie though. Idk if I've ever talked about this on here but i always talk to my friends about how he is not supposed to be making bear puns the second you meet him in the TV world, he's supposed to be a stupid timid little creature that doesnt know anything, and through you getting to know him and him getting to know you he becomes the silly little guy everyone knows him as now, but it feels like all adaptations of p4 just forget that. I think I've seen a few panels of the beginning of the p4 manga that also do the same thing of making him annoying right off the bat. He's one of my favorite characters and it makes me really upset to see adaptations completely butcher his character development.

That's really my one major complaint about the anime though. I wish it had more time to do stuff cuz it felt a liiittle bit rushed at the end BUT i think the pacing of everything is pretty well done. Overall i love the anime and im really glad i decided to watch it.
