My rotation of the Dreamer household ends with Dirk getting rejected by Lilith for THE THIRD TIME. At this point I think it's safe to say these two might not be destined for one another in this save. It's unfortunate, but truth be told I think Dirk can do a little better. Lilith is great and all, but I fear she'd only drag him down in the future. He's just too Good of a Sim... Lilith needs someone with a bit more edge.

Lillith: “Uh...what? We’re just having a little fun. It’s what we’re supposed to be up to at this age. What else did you have in mind??”

Dirk: “Oh, you know. Academics. College.”

Lillith: “Wait, wait, wait -- you think hanging out with me is a detriment to you going to school?”

Dirk: “That’s not what I meant -- but, I guess it came out that way.”

Lillith: “Look, Dirk...I don’t think I can do this anymore. You’ve never prioritized me or seen me as an equal. You constantly look down on me. I think you’re just with me so you can feel better about yourself.”

Dirk: “Lillith! Woah! Where is this coming from? That’s crazy talk.”

Lillith: “Crazy talk? Don’t gaslight me. You are always judging me. You want me to fit some mold. That just isn’t gonna happen. Fuck off to college, Dirk. And burn out. But don’t bring me with you.”

Dirk: “Lillith...”

Mortimer is so sweet. He stopped by a few times in the Dreamer round to give Darren's dog a treat 🤗 And, as usual, Darren and Brandi have their nightly dinners together, but go to their respective homes.

Coral, I'm so sorry. I feel as if most of your time spent in my game was not well utilized. Since we knew the end was nigh, Coral asked Angela to take the dog. He'll have a good life at the lake house and on the beach!

Mary Sue and Christopher said their goodbyes to Coral. I know you weren't ready to go. You'll be missed by your children and grandchildren!

"Residents of this delightfully kitschy neighborhood take pride in their billboards and lawn gnomes. And who wouldn't love getting to say hello to Barry the Brontosaurus every morning?"

Living in a van at Sandtrap Flat trying to make it as a comedian after being disowned by the Landgraabs, Johnny Zest.

Brandy Broke wanted a change of scenery after the drama and trauma of Pleasantview, so the Broke family moved to a mobile home at Pebble Burrow right after unborn baby broke, named Skip Jr. after his father, was born. Dustin Broke has already got himself involved in crime and mischief, while Brandy attempts to raise Beau Broke in what she hopes to be a happier environment.

Still having big trouble getting that artist dream off the ground, Darren Dreamer has fallen into debt and had to sell the house in Pleasantview. buying the smallest mobile home in the neighborhood at Agave Abode. Out of shame he sleeps in the storage room and gave the only bedroom to his soon-to-be young adult son, Dirk Dreamer who dreams of a much different life from his father.

Ousted from the FutureSim Labs Institute for his radical dislike for aliens and advocating for a stronger focus on rocket science and servos, mad scientist Dr. F has set up a rival lab a short distance away at Slipshod Mesquite, just close enough to spy with a not-so-subtle scanner or three. While most scientists stayed with FutureSim, Dr. F managed to recruit ambitious robot scientist Alexa Lexington, as well as a janitor/astronaut/maintenance guy called Vic Vector to his cause. The lab also has two servos, Dr. F's first prototype, a slightly paranoid tree-loving one who is called Proto-Makoto, as well as the second prototype, a hot-headed chef-bot called T.O.B.O.R.

The Caliente-Dreamers are perhaps the happiest, least dramatic family in Pleasantview. Darren paints, Nina dances, the girls run wild… it’s the happy family life that Darren’s been hoping for for so long.

Darren Dreamer

A hopeless romantic at heart, Darren's pain and loss after his late wife Darlene's death was great. His new chance at love and partnership with Nina was a dream come true.

Nina Caliente

Deeply connected to her Mediterranean roots, Nina likes exercise and bread pudding. She loves her family with Darren dearly and is glad to have finally found the financial security that none of her previous lovers afforded her.

Pea Caliente

A chance encounter with a random tourist left Nina with Pea, her firstborn, but Pea doesn't let her vague past slow her down. Like her mother, she enjoys dancing and having a good time.

Viva Caliente

Wild and excitable, there's nothing that Viva loves more than racing around the park with her big sister, Pea.

It's been officially longer than a year since I last posted gameplay pics...

For the most part of 2022, I couldn't play The Sims because I shared a computer and we couldn't agree on it. Then I played it for like, 2 months (in 2023!) on my bf's computer, but I couldn't take any screenshots 😭 And now, since October of 2023, I've been in England working as a volunteer, with no access to a personal computer. My friend was kind enough to lend me his laptop a few weeks ago so that I could finally play a bit, but it's not ideal because, well, it's his, and he needs it for work outside of the volunteering. I might be able to get my hands on a new laptop soon though (!!!!!!), and I'm really excited about finally being able to remove the "hiatus" from my bio! Or at least replace it with "semi hiatus", you know lol

I obviously won't be able to even remember what's gone on in my households, but at least I'll be back to playing once every few weeks and documenting my stuff. If everything works out, I should be here in one or two weeks, posting unedited screenshots of my game, like I used to, and getting 2 to 5 likes on each post <3 Just how I like it!

The Dreamer Household

Spring, Year 1

Under the tranquil canopy of the Three Lakes wilderness, the Dreamer family sets up camp for the night. Darren kindles a crackling fire, and they gather around, sharing stories under the starry sky. A friendly park ranger joins them, adding his own tales to the mix.

As the night wears on, Orion and his grandpa Darren retire to their tent, leaving Lilith and Dirk alone by the flickering firelight. Nestled close to one another, they find solace and warmth in the wilderness and each other's embrace, creating a beautiful memory under the dazzling stars. 🏕️🌌❤️

Darren is leader of the local Arts & Crafts Club, where he is joined by Mary-Sue Pleasant and Brandi Broke. They meet up at an art center to paint some pictures and murals. Brandi and Darren seem to get along well, so perhaps there might be a future in store for the two of them together? Would be terribly awkward if Dirk ends up with Lilith and Dustin ends up with Angela, though.

Hermia talks about her continued failure at securing an engagement with the townie, Christa Midlock. Also, with the 3 babies and a lack of rooms (in a mansion, yes), Hermia and Kent are forced to move out. They're headed for an apartment in Belladonna Cove.

Capp Manor is baby central now. Dirk continues to play the mediator in Juliette and Cordelia's fighting. Neither ladies have said why they're on the outs with each other.
