Marik Ishtar Relationship Headcanons

Words of affirmations? Yes

Marik is really a sweet boi, deep inside, even though with everything that happened to him, might have clouded it at times. But I believe with his s/o they would see that side of him, much more than others would.

I see him as very loyal, especially to someone who catches his attention and shows him love as well.

With his past he would like a s/o that would understand and not judge him for what he probably has done. Even though Yami Marik was an alter ego of him, things that he has done, would also probably stick with Marik. Like with what happened to his father. He would probably still have seen that as himself.

Marik is an open listener and will be there for his s/o as long as they do the same for him.

Equality is something big in a relationship with Marik, as well as trust.

I can see him getting quite jealous, but because trust is a main factor for him. If you are in a long term relationship, he would trust his s/o and not make a big deal out of his jealousy. He probably would tell her later now, so they understand that he feels these emotions.

Communication is key in the relationship.

And he would treat them like royalty.

I also see him being self-conscious at times, so a reassuring s/o is good for him.

Hello There! I am ShiroKeiLei. A 25 Year old, Cis Woman, who decided to make a blog to express herself and her creativity.
