Lloyd: So, error one was trapping the cast in a time loop without even erasing their memories between episodes.
Mary: Right, I-I see that.
Lloyd: Error two was-
Mary: Can you not list our errors, please?
Lloyd: There's just so many.
Mary: Yes, I know, but-
Lloyd: Like, there's errors, and then... nothing else. It's just errors.

I don't know how much overlap there is between shaperaverse and magnus archives fandom but can you guys submit Mary and/or the AI for the Brackets of Fear Web poll
It doesn't really get more Web than 'Giant robot spider puppeteers people (one of them formerly named after a fly) around in a play'

Han mi's lament is truly just one of the greatest moments of musical storytelling out there imo. With how han mi's powers of altering the narratives have ben established, instead of seriously messing up mary's day as henry said, or singing about how heartbroken she is she just... stops the narrative. For six whole minutes we hear her crying over helen. An entire song, an entire six minutes just holting the narrative and crying. Its brutal, and it hurts, and it is so so powerful.

In the Ballad of Lost Hollow there are so many tragic romances and people separated from their loved ones. In the fake backstories Lupe sacrifices herself for Hank, Henry's boyfriend leaves him, Helen is separated from her mother and sister who join the carnival. Also the nature of the cabaret is that they're separated from everyone else. Shira and Helen are actually separated as well. Raven and Lloyd are separated, Mary lost her husband and children. And in this narrative that is so hostile to lovers (both the narrative narrative and the overall narrative of Lost Hollow) Helen and Han still fall in love. But it's so short lived. They fall victim to the same fate as all the over lovers. They never even got to have a relationship before Helen sacrificed herself

Name: Nathan Brindesi
Source: The Grand Cyberpunk Gala of Gabriella Gadfly
Category: Victim
Alignment: The Eye
Description: Nathan Brindesi was an author who usually kept to himself. He had crippling social anxiety and was borderline agoraphobic. He gained the attention after one of his books became popular: a teen detective novel – initially written as a birthday present for his friend’s daughter –  called Gabriella Gadfly and the Secret of the Cyber Eye. That book spawned a franchise consisting of the novels, video games, and a feature film. Despite all of his efforts to remain alone and secluded, the media didn’t listen. Paparazzi often broke into his home just to take pictures of him, even in extremely private situations. Having had enough of his privacy violated, he killed himself on a livestream.

Just a reminder
If any of you wanna talk about anything by Paul Shapera I am more than open to.
Just a random question to you all as well. How historically accurate would you like the costumes in each ___punk era?

OP literally hijacked a TV show after it’s creator committed suicide in order to become real after uploading her body into that of a spider robot after she survived being in hell for 20 years and then created a suspicious and bigoted cabaret and caused people to go insane but go off I guess

The fact that the AIs brought Lloyd in as a consultant for the Weird West Cabaret really puts things in a new perspective. For one thing, we can safely say that Henry's backstory wasn't homophobic since it was made up by Lloyd, a gay man (do you think Mary and the other AIs were creative enough for that? Please). Furthermore, Lloyd knew that Han Mi, not Helen, had the potential to be a posthuman, which is why Han Mi had to play a villain who was a racial stereotype as well as being an enemy of Hank, who she liked because of daddy issues. If the narrative gives you an enjoyable role, you don't question it. She needed to be unhappy with her part so she would ask questions like "who's controlling this? How can I take control?". This is more likely to lead her to flowering, by making her take control of the narrative. Lloyd being involved could also be a reason why Helen had that stuff about the Carnival in her fake backstory. Lloyd might have (?) known that Raven's Carnival was trapped in the collective unconscious, so he wanted the Cabaret gang to find it and help Raven escape. Them finding Raven could cause Han Mi to flower, which could cause Raven and the Carnival to be free, which may have made it easier for Han and Lloyd to find Raven later on.
