Even though she can’t be more than a month old, probably not even, the resemblance to her father – to Hob’s friend – is already uncanny. She looks imperious, a little disapproving, like she’ll nap in his arms if she has to since she doesn’t want to be rude, but privately she thinks the conditions aren’t quite befitting an infant of her station.

I am going to do my best by making it a little funny.#Xue yang really committed fully to this new life of his! Don't threated him by trying to ruin it!#I love how he takes the blame here too. Yes he purposefully set up events to cause a divide between them #Yes he attacked SL because it would hurt XXC the most #but hey: that only hurt because he loved SL so much (in whatever form they have)#and SL hurt XXC in turn by sending him away #Xue Yang set it up but Song Lan dealt a blow on his own #XY is still the *most* at fault here but contrasting this with how strongly he justifies his actions to XXC later is very interesting to me #also he did NOT have to villain monologue about all the stuff he made xxc do. He could have just shut up about it #but nah he needs to cause hurt because HE'S so hurt and can't make other people understand him in any other way.

I got sidetracked with those stones in the BG lol #Rock textures are still very fun ahh I can't help myself #The whole thing is extra! The web-cloth needed to contrast against her skin so I needed the directional lighting so I needed the background #Every step needed the next! Congrats to everyone at @re-dracula on such a masterpiece of an episode. It was emotionally harrowing in the best way possible. Special shout out to everyone involved in the ending song for making such a lovely sounding song with lyrics that made me want to crawl out of my skin in visceral discomfort

#re: dracula #there were so many double meanings and each of them made more more uncomfortable than the last #i understand why some people thought it was funny. the contrast between the genre and the lyrical content is absurd #but holy fuck it felt like someone was speaking in my ear about how they want to assault me and that was just Awful #in a way that good art can make you feel awful #none of that was an insult to the people making the song i'm genuinely impressed
