Forgive the hastily assembled post I’m about to lose Internet and don’t have all my sources available BUT hear me out:

1. Occult Hunter J kind of looks like Denemon

2. Because Haru and Denemon share last names, they are related by Haru’s (unseen, absent/deceased) father

3. On her parenting blog, Mama Shinkai makes reference to the “Painful Beard Incident” which may have been a reference to Haru’s dad

4. Occult Hunter J also has a beard.

I don’t like where this is going…

If you don’t include a reunion scene where J and Gatchmon are both sweating bullets the first time they see each other again followed by an escalating conflict in which J tries to capture Gatchmon and Gatchmon tries to “Home Alone” J out of his own house (but both are only doing this when Haru isn’t looking), I’m going to be VERY disappointed

5 things I always wanted to do:

Have enough time and energy to pursue any and all artistic endeavors of my choosing: write/draw a doujinshi, write/draw a longer comic series, pursue traditional media, design a video game, and actually check things off the ever-growing list of random fanart and fanfic ideas that are swirling around in my head. Alas, time, energy (and discipline ergh) are in short supply in the evenings after work :P

Build robots and get better at programming (what was I just saying about time and discipline??)

Be in another musical. I was in the chorus for a high school production of 42nd Street and it was SO MUCH FUN. The short list of things I would bend over backwards to dance in are Singin’ In the Rain, The Producers, Music Man, Forum, and Book of Mormon, but really, anything that has at least one epic dance number and fun choreography!

Be a really cool aunt or grandma. I don’t think I want to be a parent, but maybe I could handle one of the other two?

Buy a house in the Rocky Mountains and name it “Summer Memory.”

The one week in May when the lilacs bloom.

Narratives that are so perfectly executed they make you cry.

Photography (but not being photographed, hahahaha)

Happy dogs

Delicious food

5 things on my to do list:

My biggest to-do list right now is for this upcoming Japan trip. Even though everything is mostly taken care of at this point, there are a few outstanding items:

Sort and print Odaiba references (you’d better believe it!)

Send the final itinerary to loved ones

Print boarding passes

Pack

Re-pack, but with smaller amounts of unnecessary stuff XD

I mean, I’m a pretty quiet/private person. I don’t end up sharing a lot of information about myself either IRL or over the Interwebs, which is why this entire post could probably be titled “things you might not know about me.” XD

I have an artblog and a FFN account (shameless plug!)

I’m a Ravenclaw.

I’m chaotic good.

I chose my standard Togemon icon long, long after I chose my screename... but now I’m quite happy to identify with the ol’ gal. Being a big punchy cactus is great. TOGEEEH!
