Why should prisoners be released in order for innocent children to be set free? Why should a terrorist organization be permitted by the world to receive its demands? It should never be acceptable to hold children hostage — no matter the context.
Article written by Ofri Bibas Levy, Yarden Bibas' sister and Kfir and Ariel's aunt.

Hamas announced the death of the youngest hostage Kfir Bibas (10 months old). The mom, brother, and dad are dead too. Hamas has said they had no ability to track because it was so bloody and chaotic. Because they were high on Captagon and high on religion. It's worse, they kidnapped these people, tortured them, and then murdered them...AFTER the massacre. How people can support a group that has murdered and abducted civilian men, women, children, raped and tortured babies in cold blood is absolutely beyond human. While 9/11 was inconceivable in its scope, the Hamas attack on Israel is inconceivable in its depravity. Many people in 9/11 died an instantaneous death from a high-speed plane crash. there were others who suffered from burning in a fire, having no choice but to jump off the building. However, in the 10/7 attacks, many were tortured/mutilated/raped before being brutally killed.  All terrorist attacks are bad, innocent people die in all of them. whether it be 2 people killed, 10 people killed, 1200 people killed, or 3000+ killed.  However, there is a concerning number of people in the US, the UK, and Europe who condemn 9/11 only to praise the Hamas attack. Imagine the level of propaganda campaigns that will be run on TikTok the moment China attacks Taiwan. Will certain people then protest against a thriving democracy in favor of an aggressive regime like they do now? Hamas, China, and Russia have done a really good job with their propaganda campaign. Tiktok in particular has been a really good tool for influencing gullible useful idiots. Shame on you who subscribe to this murderous ideology. Hamas stole the Bibas family from their home. Hamas took them into captivity. And then they murdered them. Baby Kfir was just 10 months old Ariel was 4 years old And their mum Shiri The Bibas family was executed by Hamas. We will not forgive. We will not forget.

Any call for a ceasefire without the release of the hostages beforehand isn’t a call for a ceasefire.

Oh, how the cool kids love to shout and cry about "Israel committing 'genocide'". How they demonise a nation who are currently in the process of fighting the very terrorists whose entire raison d' être is the annihilation of the Israeli state and the Jewish people.
They cry out for a ceasefire, whilst simultaneously calling to "Globalise the Intifada". But not once do they call upon Hamas to surrender. Not once do they call for the release of the hostages.
I wonder if they've even heard of Kfir and Ariel Bibas, one and four year old Israeli children, who have been kidnapped along with both of their parents since October 7th, with not a single reassurance that they are even still alive.
IT COULD BE YOU. STOP SUPPORTING ISLAMIST TERRORISM AND START THINKING ABOUT THE WIDER CONSEQUENCES OF PEOPLE DRESSED AS ISLAMIST TERRORISTS CLIMBING YOUR WAR MEMORIALS AND OCCUPYING YOUR NATIONAL MUSEUMS WITH THEIR PALESTINIAN FLAGS.
Stop supporting the very people who would hand out sweets in the street in celebration if an attack like October 7th happened to you, in your country.

Daily update post:
If you remember the Bibas family, they were all kidnapped to Gaza on Oct 7, the father Yarden who left their house first, to protect his family, and then the mother Shiri, 4 years old Ariel, and the baby, 9 months old Kfir.
It is now confirmed that they were not kidnapped by Hamas, but rather by one of 26 terrorist organizations in Gaza, each one so small that they're usually referred to as terrorist factions, rather than terrorist organization. This one specifically has adopted a pattern of always cooperating with one of the bigger terrorist organizations (like Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad), so we can assume that's what they did on Oct 7 as well. The first 45 seconds or so from the following vid is what it looked like when Shiri, Ariel and Kfir were being kidnapped, you can see how terrified she is...
youtube
Below is new CCTV footage that the IDF has uncovered from a street in Khan Younis, so now we know which city in Gaza the three (Shiri, Ariel and Kfir) were kidnapped to. Shiri is seen barefoot, Ariel's head is sort of visible, Kfir isn't, but it's assumed he's under the blanket, and Shiri holding him close to her body. Because this footage is from Oct 2023, there's so much we still don't know. Are they still there? What's their current state? Nobody knows, but the IDF spokesman has confirmed that there is grave concern for their lives.
youtube
Yesterday, a Hezbollah attack drone crashed into Arbel, the mountain on which Tiberias (one of the 4 holy cities in Judaism) is built. For some reason, the siren didn't go off. The drone crashed not too far from a kindergarten, but thankfully no one was hurt. In response, Israel has struck Hezbollah's weapon warehouses in Lebanon. To the best of my knowledge, they're still checking why the siren warning failed, and which country was the drone launched from, Lebanon, Syria or Iraq.
Tumblr media
A French report says that the terror tunnels Hezbollah has been digging for years on Israel's northern border are more complex and dangerous than the system Hamas has dug under Gaza. That's what Israeli soldiers will have to tackle if the northern front goes to a full scale war. The terror tunnels Hamas has dug since 2007 under Gaza are so much more developed, extensive, complex and dangerous than Israel has realized, and the IDF has had to develop new ways of fighting in and around them, which we did not have when the war in Gaza started. Hamas' terror tunnels were estimated to be bigger than the London Tube (underground train system) back in Dec 2023, and there have been more tunnels located since. Just to put things in perspective, London's size is 1572 square kilometers (607 square miles), more than 4 times bigger than Gaza, at 363 square kilometers (140 square miles), and has a smaller underground tunnel system, according to what we knew about Gaza two months ago. But people want Israel to sit back, and let these threats to the lives of Israeli civilians continue to grow freely... Just a reminder, on Oct 7, the way the terrorists got to the border fence, to destroy the cameras there, without being spotted on the way was thanks to their terror tunnels, and those tunnels allow them to hold Israeli hostages captives, and it allows Hamas terrorists a place to hide and strike from, and it's where some Israeli hostages were murdered.

Today in our corner, "Suuuure, it's anti-Zionism, not antisemitism, but somehow it keeps targeting Jews and Jewish identity," we got two stories from the UK. One is of a Jewish family sending their baby girl's birth certificate to issue her a passport got the document back torn and defaced, with the word "Israel" under "father's place of birth" scribbled over.
Tumblr media
The second story is of how the Amy Winehouse statue, which has stood in Camden Market for essentially 10 years, has also been defaced, specifically the Star of David was covered with a Palestinian flag sticker.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Elyakim Libman.
Tumblr media
On Oct 7, he worked at the Nova music festival as a guard. Survivors of the massacre there say he helped save quite a few people. At a certain point, he went back to retrieve the body of a murdered young woman, so it wouldn't be taken hostage by the terrorists, and that's when he ended up being kidnapped himself. He's been in Gaza for over 4 months, including during his birthday. The other day, he became an uncle. He was supposed to be his nephew's godfather, but didn't get to. His family said explicitly they want no terrorists to be released in order to free him, and that if Elyakim could weigh in, he would say the same.

Who are the hostages still held by Hamas?
On October 7, 2023, 253 Israelis and foreign nationals were kidnapped to Gaza by Hamas and gazan civilians. Since then, 105 were released in a prisioner exchange deal, 4 were released by Hamas and 3 were rescued.
However, 134 remain in captivity (4 of those were kidnapped prior to 2023). A recent investigation has concluded that more than a fifth of the hostages are dead and the fate of some other hostages remains unknown. This video explains how doctors determine which hostages are dead, based on the nature of their injury and by analyising footage and the victims' last phone calls. Additionally, during the operation in Gaza, the IDF has recovered the bodies of a few victims and returned to their families for burial.
Since I couldn't find this all in one place, I've compiled a list of: 1) hostages who are presumed alive; 2) hostaged whose death has been reported/confirmed; 3) hostages who were released or rescued. In the group of hostages presumed to be alive who haven't been released, the youngest is 1-year-old Kfir Bibas and the oldest hostage is Iraqi-born 85-year old Shlomo Mansour.
As we learn more information, I'll continue to update this post.
They need to come back home. I'm hoping for more successful rescue operations soon. Keep them in your thoughts.

I saw the video of people chanting at Sydney. I saw Shani Louk. I saw Naama Levy. I saw Noa Argamani. I saw an Israeli boy being pushed around and taunted "Say Ima! Say Ima!". I saw the Bibas family. I saw photos of burned bodies and shot up cars. I saw people fleeing from the Nova festival and I saw the bodies of the 260 people that were shot there. I saw the interview with a girl whose grandmother was murdered and her murder recorded and published on social media by Hamas. I saw a kindergarten floor smeared in red. I saw terrorists throwing grenades into a bomb shelter where people were hiding. I saw a group of friends hiding in a public toilet on the beach, one video recorded from one of their phones, the other - from the soldier who found their bodies. I saw Twitter explode with celebrations. I saw people call it resistance. I saw victims being called hipsters. I saw student groups blame the victims instead of the people responsible. There is never, ever a justification for such atrocities and I never, ever tried to justify the bombings the way you people bent over backwards trying to justify Hamas.
So you can throw scary article headlines at me from newspapers that had shown bias before all you want. You can tell me how it's all AI, how "those darn jews are lying again". You can cite the UN, who still haven't kicked Russia out and who had Iran chair human rights, whose organization UNRWA has been keeping Palestinians as refugees, employing terrorists in their schools, programming children to become future sacrifices and weapons, and whose teacher had held a hostage captive. You can tell me that reports of rape come from "unreliable sources" even as UN hears testimonies about October 7th and after we had already seen videos, taken by Hamas themselves, on the day that it had happened. You can try to tell me how the slogans I say are antisemitic and that other jews say are antisemitic are not antisemitic (because jews apparently can't define antisemitism according to you). You can try to tell me that we're the problem when support of Hamas' actions exceeds 50% in Gaza and 70% in the West Bank (in no small part thanks to the decades of radicalization facilitated by UNRWA and Iran proxies). You can tell me all of that — truth is, I don't much care for your opinion if you say all these things because all of it is verifiably a load of nonsense. I'm not going to engage with you. I'm not going to believe you aren't acting in bad faith. I'm not going to give you a platform. I'm not going to gather up all the evidence that we all saw and that is still in public access, because I know you've most likely seen all of it already and decided not to believe it, to lie about it, to obfuscate. And I'm not heartless to broadcast suffering again and again just to debunk your lies.
I saw what happened the day it happened and I saw your immediate reaction to it. And that was more than enough.

I think about the Bibas family every single day. Every single night since October 7 when I settle my baby to sleep, I see Kfir and Ariel in her face. I look in the mirror and I see the fear and terror in Shiri's eyes reflected back at me.
I think about all of the hostages, every single day. I think about Naama Levy, I think about Noa Argamani; I think about their mothers, and what they are feeling and going through knowing their daughters are still being held hostage and tortured by the people who committed the October 7 atrocities. I think about every single man and woman in Hamas's captivity. I close my eyes and I see Shani Louk's broken body pinned down by Hamas boots in that truck. I've spent so many nights in furious tears at the sheer cruelty and injustice, the senseless loss of life that day, and what it has resulted in.
Will I go through the rest of my life thinking about October 7? Perhaps not consciously, perhaps not at the forefront of my mind, but I feel as though it will always be there, a permanent wound in my soul. October 7 changed me on some deep and fundamental level. If I, someone who isn't even Israeli, someone who did not lose any family or friends to October 7, can feel this pain, I cannot even begin to imagine what it must be like for our people in Israel.
Though I live half a world away and I've never even set foot in the land my mother was born in, I have always kept Israel in my heart. From the Diaspora to Israel - we share your pain. You are never alone in your grief for October 7 and your fear for the hostages. I love you all. And this too we shall survive.
