Alia in the womb: Bro, stop being such a whinny little bitch and found your empire already. I need to start pre-ordering my regency wardrobe.

PD/Abom commission for Suri!
[ID: A digital painting of the Abomination and the Plague Doctor from the game Darkest Dungeon. The two are seated together in a relaxed manner, the Plague Doctor unmasked and leaning in as if going for a kiss. Both have content smiles on their faces. The background is a block of soft green with a gentle gradient of cooler and warmer hues. Parts are erased from the bottom edge and the characters themselves to make it appear the characters are sitting on vegetation, the negative space appearing like grass overlapping their legs. End ID]

lysander’s been made out to be such a big deal it would be so funny if the abomination just popped up and stabbed him to death like

About that sevro sleeper agent theory I’ve seen all over the place (mostly Reddit)
I’m not a fan, personally, because I think red god will be focused on fighting lysander and the society, and having sevro be brainwashed and working against everyone suddenly would take much needed page time away from that and feel like a weird side quest. Not to mention the fact that it would cheapen a lot of his excellent character development in lb. Also, just like…can we give victra a break for one gd second, please?
The biggest argument in favor of that theory seems to be “but why would the abomination just let him go without wiping his brain?!? It doesn’t make sense!!!” And I’m here to say that it makes perfect sense actually.
Because there’s one line in DA that everyone harping on this theory seems to forget:
Tumblr media
The abomination doesn’t know how to erase memories. Sure he’s smart, maybe he could figure it out with time, but maybe not. He is only ten, after all, and he’s had everything handed to him all his life. Also, I wouldn’t put it past Virginia to throw out “more than 24 steps” when there’s actually like 82, just to throw him off the trail.
So sure, you say, maybe he wouldn’t be able to erase the memories but why would he let him go? And for that, I point to another section of this same conversation:
Tumblr media
He’s obsessed with Virginia, everything in his life is built around her, the way adrius 1s life was built around his father.
Virginia talks about a “source” in lb that has helped her to expose traitors within her regime, and I do believe the evidence points to this source being the abomination. But last she saw him, she tried to kill him and he was threatening to ruin her friends. I highly doubt she was the one who reached out to form that partnership, and she’d never trust him without some gesture of goodwill.
So I think the abomination, in his obsession with her, couldn’t just let her go. He had to reach out, reestablish contact somehow. He’s seen her solve his puzzles and he wants a new game. So he reaches out, tells her he has info she’ll need. She’s not going to engage with him without some sign she can trust him. So he agrees to let sevro go if she lets him talk to her, foster this strange messed up relationship a little more.
Virginia agrees, because she needs information and because it’s the once chance sevro might have. So she makes this deal with the devil. And because the abomination is still a sinister little shit, he keeps his word to the letter. He said he’d let sevro go, he never said it would be back into the republics hands. Hence the auction, where Apollonius spots an opportunity to draw darrow out of hiding. And so begins the story as we know it.

So what if Mozart was composing symphonies at 6. Alia Atreides was orchestrating the downfall of a vast galactic empire from the comfort of her mother's womb.

I think we'll see Daredevil again in episode 9 of She-Hulk and here's why!
Tumblr media
This photo was taken by Jameela Jamil –who wasn't in episode 8 AND it was taken at Blonsky's retreat's set, which also wasn't in episode 8. We specifically see this model ship when Jen is trying to get signal with her phone. From the trailers, we know we'll see Abomination again at the retreat so I would bet that Matt Murdock shows up again. Why? I don't know, but why would Charlie Cox be on that set with Jameela Jamil if they weren't in an episode together ? The only answer is: episode 9

More drawings for how I'd design characters if I did an X-Men '97-inspired sequel series for the various Marvel cartoons (mostly Spider-Man: The Animated Series and The Incredible Hulk), as well as two characters I hope will appear on X-Men '97 itself -- along with another episode of "Anicomicgeek can't do a decent actor likeness if his life depended on it" since Arcade was supposed to be modeled on Malcolm McDowelll during his A Clockwork Orange days.

The Abomination (1986)
One of those movies that's likely known from a handful of over-the-top effects shots—like the ones I'm showing here—while the movie surrounding them is mediocre at best, clunky and confusing at worst. Worth a watch due to its cult status and some impressive visuals, but the rest of the movie can be a bit of a slog.
4/10
