Whelp, I think I'm about Convention-ed out! Its....a bit heartbreaking to see, because I was waiting for a sort of punchline at the end or him saying "I'm kidding" afterwards, but it didn't happen this time. -The previous twt link anon

Re RSJ, it's at 33:53 mark on his panel that Gayled_it uploded to YouTube. He himself admits it's unprofessional to say that and says it anyway. I guess you could say he was joking but given his recent actions (the podcast writer), I'm putting him in the 'leeches Jared needs to shake off' category. At best he's pandering to the Jared hating side in hopes they'll support him, knowing Jared fans will be told off even if they (rightfully) get mad at him like last time, which is still shitty.

Sorry, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but what con is this from? For the recent Vegas one I only see the panel with him and Rob and that's not it. It doesn't seem to be the most previous Dallas 2022 either, so I'm lost.  (Edit: Thanks @youmightbeanidiotif !  I don’t know why I couldn’t get the timestamp correct on the video earlier but it was clearly user error.  My opinion is the same after watching it, there’s not enough there there for me personally to see it as a genuine dig given the overall context.)

It's your prerogative to feel that way, anon. However, barring more definitive malignancy or a repeated pattern of behavior? I'm personally inclined to put it in the kicking cardboard category. These guys actually personally know each other and joke around all the time, including fake putdowns. The fact that some fans will take it as serious - like minions crying about Jared kicking down a Cas standee - should not be a primary consideration for anybody. The actors are not (and should not be, yikes) involved in fandom to the extent we are to know the details of every dumb imprecation and crazy meltdown. Even if they did, to walk on eggshells every time they mention each other because someone somewhere on the internet might freak out would be absurd and exhausting.

All of these guys have a certain number of stans who have become obsessed with seeking out the faintest hint of possible negative implications to be offended about and ~*protect*~ their fave from by writing off the source as evil. As if they know better than the actor themselves who they should associate with, despite not knowing any of these people - every one a potential enemy, just waiting for their chance to step out of line! Like a lot of other types of fandom overreaction, it can be kind of contagious. Because we're all over-invested, I think it gets easy to lose sight of where the line between 'I personally don't like this' and 'this is objectively terrible and I know better than my fave what should be done about it' lies.

When Jared himself has repeatedly joked about his tendency to goof off on set and prank directors he's friends with? When everybody, including Jared, keeps working with these shitty "fans" in official positions? Without more substance, assuming malice here just falls too far into bad faith for me personally.

I have seen most of the panels now !!! Btw joined J2 in 2019... So my ask was... regarding the last weekend's Jensen's solo panel. Did he mention the prequel one (as mentioned/tweeted by someone ?

Because the solo panel Gayled_it uploaded doesn't have that clip. Is that meet and greet something other than the solo panels which were uploaded?

I get confused many a times, because I have read such scenarios when something is mentioned in the speak the truth archive and that part is not anywhere on YouTube.

I wish I could have started loving these two earlier so that I would have not missed so many things.🤭

Hi! Sure! I love questions! I believe that Jensen spoke about the prequel at a meet and greet. As info was coming in Anon (from what I’ve seen) I would salt heavily. There is no video evidence.

Thanks for the video Gayled_it! My teenager doesn't know how I watch SPNCON videos and thinks they're stupid. I told her I was thinking the same thing about her Minecraft, Roblox, and outrageous challenge videos she watches on YouTube. I can understand the challenges a little, but seriously, isn't it enough that she plays the games? Why would you want to watch other people play it? I don't think so! I watch SPNCON videos (this is the first panel one I've seen) because it's the next best thing to being there.
