TFTGS Roleswap AU Thoughts:

Jack <—> Spencer

Jack in Spencer’s role isn’t nearly as evil as Spencer is. I imagine it’s more like his usual apathy is cranked up to a hundred. He tends to just find it extremely hard to care, and he has a dislike for the gas station due to how awful it was to work there (yes he used to work there in this AU). I like to think the reason he sticks around and works with gods is because he’s trying to find help for Sabine. In this AU he kinda loses his moral compass and never moves on from her.

Spencer however, is still a psychopath. Literally. He’s been getting the help he needs, and his morals are still VERY dodgy, but he’s improved. He works at the gas station because the weird shit interests him and it’s recommended by his therapist. also since there’s usual nobody ever around and it’s so much forest, it’s an easy way to let off steam. I want to mirror Spencer’s obsession with Jack in this and give Jack an obsession with Spencer but I can’t think of a good reason…

And y’all are probably wondering his a scrawny guy who can’t use a gun can beat Spencer in scenarios: he can’t. Jack cannot beat Spencer most the time. He knows it too. Whoever he’s working for tends to lend him assistance, but most of the time he’s just… weirdly lucky. Lucky and careful. The best way I can describe it is that scene in volume 3 where he made bear-trap Hell to trap mimics and set them on fire. He’s basically like that if he needs to actually cause damage

TFTGS MLP AU Thoughts:

Jack is an earth pony to show that he’s really just a dude. He was a blank flank for most his life until he started writing the blog posts and journaling. He still can’t sleep and goes through all the awful shit because of it. Gods love and hate him.

Jerry is a stereotypically beautiful unicorn like every Mathmetist, but he’s more stocky and scruffy than most. Yes, most of the time he uses his magic it’s to smoke. His cutie mark probably had something to do with money, but when he ran away to join the cult he got it magically branded. Not just any brand, it’s completely permanent and he could not be happier.

O’Brien is a unicorn as well, stockier and bigger than most. She got her cutie mark when she was younger, and joined the police because of it. Yes she still has guns. Whenever anybody asks about her cutiemark she always says it’s about her job, but she knows it’s about protecting those she loves. She won’t ever say that though.

Rosa is a Pegasus she has the energy and her wings to puff up whenever she’s mad (usually when she’s tearing into Jack). I most likely will change her cutie mark to something eye related… it’s a cutie mark that changes— whenever she is awake and normal it is a closed eye in a heart, but whenever she is doing the sleep-floating thing it is open and a spiral.

Spencer is a griffin. He is the only griffin in town and he is BIG. Not sure about Tony yet. Kieffer was a kirin, the Man/Colt in the Trenchcoat is a deer, the Fox Lady/Mare is a kelpie, and Rita the Raccoon is the exact same. Howard is probably a nightmare. Mimics and Changelings are completely different.

The Collector is imprisoned in an alicorn form. His wings have been clipped and his horn has been broken to symbolize him being trapped and mostly powerless. He covers his wings so people will just assume hes got bad history, but his cutie mark is a hand reaching out with the arm extending down his leg.
