People Who Ignore Text Messages from Friends

Now, I'm not some chick who obsesses over the amount of time it takes for people to respond to a text but no response at all irritates the shit out of me. If you text me in a week, I'll appreciate it as though you texted me in five minutes. People have shit to do and we forget. But you have to know something about me. When I text, I have a purpose. When I want to know how you are, I ask "How are you?" When I want to know what time and where to meet, I ask, "What time and where should we meet?" When I want to know where all the attitude is coming from, I ask, "What's wrong and who do we have to hate on?" My point is that I ALWAYS have a point. I am annoyingly independent and only ask questions that I can't answer myself. So when people start ignoring my texts for no fucking reason, I get irate. I won't say anything about it because what's the point in asking people what their problem is when they're basically telling you with their complete silence that they don't value you? That you are not important enough for a response, not even a small one? All in all, be kind to your friends and say something. Send a fucking emoji or gif. Hell, say "Busy right now" or "I don't know". Fuck, ANYTHING I can't wait for these people to have kids, grow old, and finally feel ignored. They obviously are so used to such a high level of attention that they don't think anyone is important enough for theirs

Texting Etiquette.

Some people just suck at texting. Like no joke. You might think, who am I to judge others texting skills but I am so damn better than those that text me. Like I'm not even trying to brag but I text with etiquette. I text in full words. And in common sense. I most of the time proofread. I might make mistakes when im in a rush or cold but thats about it.

Some people just text without etiquette. There aren't full words. Not full sentences. Some aren't even words nor abbreviations. Then I can't make sense of your text and have to waste the time to ask you what you meant, and you have to waste the time to type it again. And the worst part about this is, I know you have a full qwerty keyboard.

Then sometimes people just like send you one word texts and like damn, i sent you a paragraph and you give me a word; LOL. You must be playing me. Because you did not just give me a LOL when I sent you a paragraph.

Then there are the late reply-ers. You know who you are. Those that take hours to reply and don't give a reason why. Like if you were showering or napping its like whatever. But there are those people that know they are having a conversation with someone over text but just doesnt check their phone to reply.

And all this adds up to a WTF. Oh and disrespect. Texting is a type of communication so do it with etiquette. When you talk to someone in real life do you speak cut up phrases? do you speak in words that aren't words? Do you say, Let go to tat plce tht has th e chiken winmgs wit Bbq saue? No you don't, cus you wouldn't be able to pronounce that. And you you just laugh when your friend is ranting to you about something? No. Do you let your friend keep talking and talking until she's finish and you both sit there for hours until you open your mouth? No. Because all these things are awkward in real life. So why do it through text.
