Heart-Thieving Side Characters

I didn't know what else to title this. I'm also aware that I rarely post on tumblr, anymore.

Anyway, have you ever had a side/supporting character that you really liked/loved by the 2nd episode of a show (or hey, the character can be from a movie or a book, too), and their backstory just shatters your heart?

That's me, right now.

I finally decided to check out the Japanese drama, "Teppachi", last night...usually, army/military-themed shows, movies, or books don't really interest me because they tend to smash my heart into bits and then I'm sobbing for the next five minutes...and one of the side/supporting characters, Watanabe, has not only already stolen my heart...but has now also shattered it with his backstory in the 2nd episode that I'm currently watching.

Thank you, so much, Sir! I didn't need my heart, anyway T-T </3!

I mean, I haven't cried, yet...but my heartstrings have been yanked a couple times, now. Now, I just wanna hug Watanabe. He's an adorable bean.

Currently Reading: circling back to you by julie tieu, since my friend wanted to go see her at a library event, so we spontaneously drove an hour and a half away to see her (masked event don't worry). it's fairly cute but i think i prefer light from uncommon stars.
