One time Andrew caught Neil staring and said 'take a picture, it will last longer' so now any chance he gets, Neil takes pictures of Andrew, because he loved the photo wall but these are just for him. And they're definitely polaroids, he just carries a camera every where with him now. It would annoy Andrew at first but when he saw Neil sifting through all his pictures and smiling to himself he figured it wasn't so bad.

As Percy walks the halls of Whitestone castle, his hands are trembling.

Delilah Briarwood. The name echoes in his mind and haunts his footsteps. That woman was like an illness that kept returning, a reoccurring nightmare.

He's so fucking angry. The rage boils in his veins and burns through his blood, while fear hangs like a cold weight around his neck.

"Daddy?" a soft voice asks. He turns to see Gwendolyn sitting on a window seat near a window with a spectacular view of the city below.

He knows this is her favorite spot. He knows. So, why had he come here? He doesn't hide much from his children but keeps this cold, cruel side of himself locked up tight.

"Daddy?" she repeats, setting her book beside her. "Are you okay?"

"No, not quite," he answers honestly because he can't do anything else.

Her face crumples a little, and there's sadness in her eyes. "Do you want a hug?"

He nods. Gwendolyn comes forward and hugs his waist. She's so small, so alive...

And something breaks inside him.

He drops his cane and sinks to his knees, hugging her as tightly as possible. He cradles her head with one hand while his free arm wraps around her body. Her arms rise from his waist to his upper back, returning his embrace.

"It's okay, daddy. It's okay."
