Am I too, then, going to pass my life with idle words, like so many people in the world?

no srsly the whole Katai thing with the letter it's already so funny but you think about it from Gin's pov and it's like fucking insane
you're going about your day after work and a bunch of idiots start chasing you (guns included) bcs some dude you don't even know wants to confess
plus somehow 2 ada members (one being the catboy that has beef and whatever that is with your brother) and your direct superior (who’s also horny for your brother) are there

Bungō Seichi Junrei, Asagiri Kafka
On June 19, 2020 - Bungō Seichi Junrei (『文豪聖地巡礼』) was released.
• Bungō -> great writer
• Seichi Junrei -> pilgrimage
As you might know, in Bungō Stray Dogs the relationships between the characters are very different from the irl authors' relationships, while it stays accurate in Bungō to Alchemist.
I thought that it could be interesting to translate the correlation tables that were in Asagiri Kafka's book so here you go:
Chapter I « KŌRO JIDAI »’S GREAT WRITERS SEEN BY IZUMI KYŌKA
Chapter II NATSUME SŌSEKI AND THOSE GENES
Chapter III KAWABATA YASUNARI AND COMPANIONS OVERCOMING GENERATIONS
Chapter IV NAKAHARA CHŪYA AND « BURAI »’S GREAT WRITERS
Chapter V BIOGRAPHIES OF ECCENTRIC WRITERS
If you can read Japanese, please support Asagiri Kafka by buying his book! I might translate some more pages in the future but definitely not the whole book. Feel free to DM me or comment which chapter you would like to read, or about which author you would like to know more!
9/01/2023: updated the slide for chapter III -> @haganeproductio rightfully nitpicked about the "shinkan kakuha" which should be romanized shinkankakuha. (or shin kankaku-ha but this romanization is a lot less used)

A place where digital dreams go to die - a sort of organized chaos.
Katai lives in a dumpster-esque location safely hidden away from the public eye. Rather than relying on stealth to keep away trespassers, Tayama Katai relies on his incredible ability to live amongst piles of useless garbage and keep it just about disgusting enough to repel the locals.
‘It’s just like me,’ Katai will say sadly, hacking away at the barely functioning laptops.
Kunikida stares blankly at the mess (Katai included).

"He was sad, truly deeply sad. His sadness was not the sadness of florid youth, nor simply the sadness of lovers. It was a more profound and greater sadness, a sadness inherent in the innermost reaches of human life. The flowing of moving waters, the withering of blossoming flowers—when encountering that irresistible force which is deep within nature, there is nothing as wretched nor as transient as man."
— Futon, Tayama Katai
