It’s the way Vegeta started out as a sneering aristocrat before getting put down by a lesser Saiyan and King Vegeta started out as a proud conqueror before getting repeatedly humiliated in public by more powerful beings with no ability to fight back and Tarble was banished from his family of aggressive strongmen for being too weak and as such was allowed to reach adulthood without any blood on his hands and remain a decent, functional person without the irreparable emotional damage of his brother. I just love all of that. The contrapasso of it all.

For as much as I love to criticize Super (it's one of my favorite past times 🤣), one thing I really enjoyed was Vegeta's bond with Cabba. You can tell despite Vegeta's jerkass exterior, he really DID care about Cabba which was highlighted during the Tournament of Power. ESPECIALLY when Cabba was erased:

They don't show his face which I love since it shows ambiguity (in a way) and when he threatens to take his rage out on Katopesla....ugh!! 😭

P.S: I like to headcanon part of the reason why Vegeta cared about Cabba was because of his resemblance to Cabba:

Tarble drawings I did recently.
I wish Tarble was shown more, like he's related to Vegeta and has his own special but barely anyone knows he's a character in DBZ. Also he's funny.

For me Table is one of those "the fandom is wrong about him" characters. He's 100% a king (in every way possible) and a baby girl
Alsoooo comic about him fighting his brother down below vvvv warnings for blood and injuries

Vegeta gets glommed onto by the Whump crowd a lot but I’m gonna be honest, y’all sadomasochistic hoes are sleeping on his dad. I could watch a whole movie of those scenes where he’s forced to grit his teeth through getting publically humiliated by Frieza/Beerus/anyone else with a bigger sack than him. Eyes twitching, temple veins bulging. The subtle implication that he’s a Dead Wife Guy? Awesome. I bet one of them killed her. And he isn’t allowed to be upset about it :)
But the juiciest part is that he’s a coward and a hypocrite, in his role as a DILF father more than anything else. This isn’t just psychological torture, it’s grounded psychological torture, the cruelest kind. Power level indicates inherent value, that’s why he’s the king, but he obviously resents getting subordinated by beings that are his superiors in that regard. He quietly hides away his weaker son and tries to kill an infant more powerful than his own offspring, because little things like that would present ideological incoherences. He loves his good son because he reflects well on him, loves him enough to introduce him to horrific violence before puberty, so when he gets taken away like an expensive toy he revolts. But why should he? Paternity and dynastism made the pill a lot easier to swallow, but ultimately Frieza didn’t exploit Vegeta anymore than he did.
What a pathetic piece of garbage. Someone should suck him dry.
