New chapter is up! A little break from the action as we get introduced to the parents of our favorite space lesbians (Yes, Haruka calls her father the Earl as well), Setsuna asks herself if our MC’s lifestyle finally catched up and he had a stroke lately and about everyone is breaking Royal Protocol even before Michiru pulls out the Stradivari in the L’Olympia.

Thank you for asking! I’ll gladly answer that one.

In ToTFS Minako and Rei had been a couple in their late teens, soon after Galactica got defeated (which also was after Yuichiro had left the shrine and Rei the first time). For a few years they could finally take a breather in life in peace, a time in which the girls also finished their high schools (Minako soso, Rei as best of her class, although she was not even close in the nationals to the top. I guess you can imagine which people were on top there 😉).

They traveled after the exams, just the two of them, for the first time in years without the other girls. Not even Artemis was allowed. (One of the places they traveled was the Island the Gang had visited with Chibiusa one time, Minako loved it so much that she told Rei she could never get there again without her). [AN: Even after ten years, It’s actually unknown if it’s really Usagi who always takes the gang to the island when Rei tries to relax there in peace or if it’s Minako’s doing]

Before Rei began to study they also often helped the other with their profession, be it in the Shrine (Minako lowkey always loved Rei in her Miko-clothes as it has that traditional touch which has a certain allure for the quarter-british/ quarter french blonde) or in the studio (Minako began to actively pursue her idol career again and soon had fans all over Japan; Rei often did backup vocals or helped writing songs, there’s even a duet together on one of Minako’s early Albums). Music is something both of them love and so often they were just cuddling and listening to music together. And of course no karaoke party was safe from them!

It was back then, at Rei’s 20th birthday, when her father told her that she was a quarter US-American. There had been rumors before and Rei always had a hunch, alone from her name, And although she didn’t let her father now, Rei found it exciting news. Minako as well. Rei’s English was good but after that Minako had to practice talking English with Rei pretty much every day.

When they started dating Minako had way more experience than Rei, who hadn’t done much more than innocent kisses with Yuichiro, as she still believed in chastity. But when Love and Passion collide, it awakes a bright fire. Rei had her first time with Minako and soon it became clear that there was a real meaning behind Soldier of Passion.
