There’s a lot of different reasons to love baseball manga. Like, REALLY good baseball manga. The camaraderie, the strategy, the sheer variety of situations you can take a game to, the volatile personalities or the behind the scenes elements.

A moment of quiet appreciation for Takashi Mizumori, who has gone to Akita Shoten, Shogakukan, and Kodansha, all to follow the dream of making baseball comics, and been cancelled EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
The world isn’t fair, but all three of these series are far better than their short runs would indicate.
Next time lucky, one hopes. Maybe Shueisha next.
