I am seeking tools to navigate through mental and emotional distress. I've been experiencing #anxiety, which I presume is #workrelated. If you can steer me towards someone that can help me cope with #workplace duress, It would be greatly appreciated. The way these headaches and chest pains keep progressing, I may be in need of an emergency session. Maybe I am struggling to understand how threats against my life were greeted with threats against my livelihood and chosen profession. Maybe my spirit is guiding me to advance in a new direction. Maybe I am missing the big picture within the scope of microaggressions. Could it be the dismay of the #humanpsyche that leads one down the corridors of #depression? Sometimes I wonder if my mind and heart are at war when I lack the wherewithal to see #thelesson. At times I wonder "Why is my beautiful brown skin more threatening than an individual wielding a weapon?" Who would of thought #violenceinthelibrary would become commonplace?! Or maybe it was foolish of me to think the #conductinlibrariespolicy was administered to provide a suitable environment for #library use. We live in world where boys behest ye to address them as girls when they put on a dress yet "My #BlackLife is not protected against #violenceintheworkplace?" Foolish of me to think constant chatter of #diversityequityinclusion would equate to the inclusion of #BlackLivesMatter, when it has been historically shown that I am expected to endure abuse. Why am I expected to accept all threats and abandon the laws of self-preservation? Why is the #libraryadministration not acquainted County laws, rules, and regulations? How many weapons must be drawn before you draw the line? How many boundaries must ye cross before see you are out of line? Have ye noticed how many patrons get suspended from the library while I'm out on personal time?
