1. Pumpkin pie or apple pie? Apple pie. There’s no contest at all. I don’t like the texture of pumpkin pie. Frozen pumpkin pie is all-right, but I’d pick apple pie every single time if asked. Apple cake is even better. There’s this wonderful caramel-y apple cake I make regularly and it is just the best thing I’ve ever tasted.

16. Caramel apple or candy apple?I’ve… actually never had either and don’t even really know what the difference is. They’re not really a big thing in Sweden - in my experience at least.

23. What do you have for thanksgiving?Thanksgiving isn’t a thing in Sweden. We have “Tacksägelsedagen” (Saying thanks day), but it isn’t a holiday. They might make a little bit of a thing of it if you go to church, but that’s about it.

Glad tacksägelsedag!

I kyrkans kalender firas idag tacksägelsedagen. Utan att vara kyrklig så tar jag tillfället i akt och listar för mig själv några orsaker till tacksamhet. Idag inte som en tillbakablick på den gångna veckan, utan ett helikopterperspektiv på livet just nu. Mitt uppe i det.

Jag är tacksam för alla människor som står mig nära och som jag bär i mitt hjärta. Ni är många.

För livets skönhet och faktiskt…
