OOOOOUUUUGHHHHHHH OK OK WAIT NO I LOVE THIS IDEA SO MUCH......

I imagine Single Mom Aya would be a bit more hardened, a bit more cautious, like her dads are. However, she'd still retain her kindness, friendly behavior, and cheerful attitude, and would be very excited to see all the new people that show up over the course of the blog (once she makes sure they're good people).

The three kiddos would definitely be a lot more innocent and trusting in this au, much like Aya! Kenji would be the most energetic and friendly of the three, but also the most gullible (less relaxed and mature than he is in the blog canon). Miu would also be energetic, but arrogant and snotty. He'd be the "meanest" of the three and think himself better than everyone (also, he would not be blind). Tomo would be very introverted and shy, almost never leaving Aya's side. He wouldn't talk much, but he'd be a very sweet kid c:

I imagine Aya would enjoy wrestling and rough housing and running around Kenji and Miu, prepare meals with Tomo, and tell all three of them stories her moms told her! All in all, outside the character's ages and roles changing, I don't think any of the blog's events so far would change too drastically! ^^

(( i actually love it - i think my biggest complaint would be that i wish there were more mgs rpers around - i think because the series has been over for so long, they're just aren't many peeps willing to write it but fandom wise - i like the fandom. everyone seems happy and fun; there's a lot of headcanons and games, everyone seems to be having fun.

i just wish there were more writers (owo) - i'd love to have more of an excuse to play future kaz or even crossovers. having him interact with people like otacon or w/e would be really awesome! generally, the fandom seems very sweet & nice. c: ))

🌽 - Is there a fandom you’re too intimidated to join     I’m already here, but I’ll be honest, I was very intimidated by the T.GCF rpc when I was debating whether or not to join / just starting out. I think now that I’m a little bit more confident my portrayal isn’t completely garbage I feel a lot better haha. i have to gush about my best friend again. bc im 33yo now and i met him after i was thirty. ive had some terrible ppl i really adored in my life before and before i met my friend i had gotten over all that but i sorta figured that socially, whether platonically or romantically, id already been through so much and didnt think that life had much to teach me as far as relationships go?

and then i got to know this friend and its just mindblowing that you can have such a deep friendship in your life??? and the fact that it happened after id thought id grown up so much and been through so much and now theres this person who cares about me and who loves me and who i adore through the marrow of my bones and love so much like soul family? ( we probably tell each other we love each other at least ten times a day? ) and it has nothing to do with romance? and so much to do with creativity which is even a bigger and more constant part of me than romantic relationships ever were

its just beautiful and lifechanging and i want everyone to know you can come into some of the greatest connections of your life well after your wild partying years or busy college-ing years or whatever your twenties might be — and the nature of the connection might surprise you lmao

im a sucker for alliteration? idek why. i never cared about it when i was studying in school but now whenever i write and the same letters naturally come up im [ pacha meme ] and if my rp partner pulls it off nicely im licking my screen ( i really didnt care for it in school i thought it was ridiculous alliteration and assonance were even part of writing classes lmao idk what happened since then )

⛵ What genres do you like writing the most?

im actually not rly sure! i know i love spooky things. i know i love characters with odd extremist beliefs…

its probably not action bc i never know what to say and whenever i watch high action moments in movies its like at the start of climax scenes my mind is sent in a direction and then im off in my own head for a couple minutes and finally come back to the world of the movie with no idea what the hell just happened during this intense part i was supposed to be watching

i guess i tend to like things that are more subdued ( that i can actually follow ) with lil tastes of something heavier

but overall i think i like a good variety, leaning toward heavier moods. im an extremely positive person irl and do my best to be kind and loving – but i have zero interest in those kinds of characters when it comes to writing and stories lmao. i think maybe bc i devote so much energy to cultivating a healthy space irl that when i want to sit and go places i dont usu go with writing i dont go to healthy habits or relationships lmao

6. Name 3 things you love most about your muse/muses.

a.) His design. I could fill all three slots with individual aspects to his character design, but it would be better just to lump them all together in one category. D4 Nero especially has such a strong and visually appealing design with a lot of obvious and interesting symbolism, such as his colour scheme being both red and blue to refer to Dante and Vergil and drive home the concept that Nero embodies the best of both extremes that the brothers represent. We have his absolutely gorgeous devil trigger with its profiund angelic imagery that further pushes the idea of Nero being the “saviour” of his bloodline and representing the bridge between humans and devils that when working together in harmony can create something transcendant, as well as hinting at his religious background where he was a knight of Sparda, and now has redefined that old title into something much more meaningful. And we have his adorable devil bringer that stood head and shoulders above the rest as a symbol of Nero’s duality and the eventual journey of accepting both sides of himself that he embarked on (boo bring his devil bringer back.)

b.) His role in the story of DMC. I already alluded to this above, but the fact that Nero is posed in this tale as a symbol of new beginnings, light in the darkness, hope where before none existed, and the end to a cycle of misery and pain, is such a profound and beautiful concept for him to the central component in. Without Nero, the brothers would never have reached a state of peace, their war would have continued forever, and sooner or later it likely would have ended with one or the other (or both) dying a vain and needless death. Nero put an end to years of strife and suffering by himself, all because of how deeply he loves his family. He is such a special character because of everything he represents and champions within the story.

c.) His cocky attitude. For a character who is focused so deeply on the concept of love, he is such a little punk who is never afraid to open his mouth and sound off at anyone and everyone who he thinks needs a good talking to. He’s so entertaining to watch, with the snarky, arrogant side of his personality always so pleasantly juxtaposed against his genuine, sweet, loyal side, which makes for a character that is as fun as he is heartwarming.

25. One thing you’d like new roleplayers to know? 

Just have fun. A lot of people will make RP seem like a career or an extensive commitment to undertake when it isn’t either. You don’t need to present yourself or your blog a certain way to be a “real” rper, you don’t need to be active every single waking moment of your life, and you don’t need to feel obligated to do things in the RP scene that stress you out. Things got a lot easier for me when i just stopped caring as much and just treated tumblr RP like the casual fun escpaism that it was always meant to be.

Oh my. This question can get long real quick lmao! I don't know how to organize this, so forgive me for that.

Lovers --> Ex-lovers that aren't exactly quite over each other --> Lovers again.

Actually any kind of ex-lover type plot, because that angst will hurt and I'm ready for it.

Really any kind of modern AU

One I've been looking to do for a while is a Famous/Celebrity type of AU. I must admit I....love the drama potential there. Scandals. Paparazzi. Gossip. Rumors. Meddling families and friends. All that stuff. I live for that shit. Or wealthy family type of drama, because it sounds fun. Rival families, companies, etc.

Any kind of sweet romantic or rom-com plots because I am sap and can always get down for those sweet type of romance slice of plots. College AUs, Childhood sweet hearts, Florist/Tattoo artist type of ideas. Yeah, count me in. :)

Going to slip this survival AUs here too, because they're mostly modern right? Zombie apocalypse type of plots.

I do love reading fantasy, so fantasy plots are always welcome.

I always envision Sasuke ( it doesn't have to be Sasuke he's the one that popped into mind) to be the leader or part of a rebellion cause. I enjoy those type of plots where they are fighting against the system, government, etc.

Of course other fantasy plots like Royal AUs, arranged marriages, sprinkling in a little political drama there.

Supernatural plots!

I like the idea of Sasuke as a vampire...but honestly he gives me werewolf, shapeshift energy at times. Naruto is total shapeshifter. Sasuke as some kind of feared demon. I’m just tossing out ideas lol. Baby ones that have floated by. 

Anything that encompasses these kinds of elements is always fun, building up the universe and just seeing what happens.

🍌 - What drew you into the fandom in the first place?

Binge watching Trollhunters, then 3Below, then realizing there was only a week until Wizards - then binge watching that too and then I really needed somewhere to vent my enthusiasm before my boyfriend lost his mind. The other day I dropped a headcanon about Skrael and my boyfriend was like ‘who’s that?’ - apparently I gave him such a heartbroken look that he felt compelled to add shriek ‘I DIDN’T WATCH IT THREE TIMES!!’

🍉 - If you considered a time travel thread, when would your muse go?

🍇 - Have you even encountered any partners that threw a tantrum at you?

Not in this fandom, thankfully. I can’t recall any other instance in other fandoms to be honest. I avoid drama like the plague so I tend to not write with people who constantly seem to be in conflict with everything and everyone. Kind of takes away that nice, relaxing aspect to rp for me.

🍓 - What’s your sweetest rp experience so far?

Ohh! Um, here on this blog I think it would be a short moment when Barbara reunites with Jim. That was very sweet. :) Otherwise the sweetest rp experience overall would probably be with my IT muse Richie Tozier (@sugartrashmouth), and the verse I have with @itsdeadlights​. We have been RPing for years and I love every interaction.

🥒 - Are you thinking about reviving old muses? Who?

Yes, I’ve been wanting to go back to my Beelzebub (Good Omens) blog @zzzzzzir, but I’m nervous it will be like last time when I got overrun by personal blogs that never respected the rules. It became very stressful and I don’t want that again. That’s why I’m very careful not to use the main character tags for anything anymore.

I get nostalgic over my Alien muses @mere-walter and @daniels-b-captain, so when the next Alien movie comes out I might fire them back up.

🥔 - What’s the dumbest mistake you’ve made in rp?

Hmmm... I think a maybe three years ago I was on the bus and reblogged an art piece that I thought an rp partner had made, absolutely gushing about their talent - only to realize a few min later that they had reblogged the art piece from the actual artist. I don’t think I’ve ever taken anything down so quickly or apologized so much lmao - I was still new to tumblr back then.

🥜 - What’s the nuttiest thread you’ve ever had?

Might be the thread my IT muse Richie Tozier got shitfaced together with Pennywise and tried to convince IT the C in KFC stood for ‘children’.

🥕 - What do you think about the current theme trends?

I... don’t know what that is. It sounds like something I don’t pay attention to. Is it blog design, like the visual of..? If it is, then I have no idea. If I find something that works for me I use it everywhere lol

MM i’ve had a lotta really good ones over the years, but i’d say the rps i did back in a fandom for a movie called ‘ 9 ′ were some of the best. 9 was an ideal canon for me because the concept of the setting -- a post - apocalyptic world populated by living dolls imbued with fragments of their creator’s soul -- was fuckin’ cool but the plot itself was rather limited, so you could kinda just go buckwild with the basic premise. i love stuff that doesn’t have each and every detail perfectly lined out, which is probably why hazbin works so well for me. i like having enough info to form a baseline, with enough room to fill in my own headcanons.

there were two rp groups i became a part of in that fandom, and both were really wonderful experiences that ultimately kinda crashed and burned but EH it’s whatev. it’s probably why i have the attitude towards ocs that i do. both of them involved fancharacters, with a few canons thrown in and it was just super dramatic and fun. i miss those rps so much sometimes. i have a few ocs based on fancharacters i made for those rps! also, 9 is how i met caine c:

⚌ Who inspires you?

in terms of writing al? probably ed bosco’s improv in the streams. i base a LOT of my alastor on the streams, his energy, how temperamental he is, and overall just how fuckin’ SILLY he is in spite of being this big imposing badass overlord. )

♥ What’s the WORST thing that has happened to you rp wise?

Okay. I am not sure if I talked about it on here or not but it isn’t really a secret. I kind of have two occurrences that nearly ruined tumblr RP for me. I’m going to place them under a cut because it is hard to explain in little words.

1. In a group verse I had an original character that was loved by everyone and I was constantly told they forgot she wasn’t canon. ( Which was really exciting especially since I was new. But also it was towards the beginning of the birth of the fandom so I was around for a while before we made the following. ) So we have this group verse that had been going for a few months with multiple storylines and well thought out plots. ( We even made a blog for it to keep up with plots and things. ) It was so cool. But then one night the writer of my OC’s significant other and another of the other writers decided it would be cool to put their characters together romantically because they decided they shipped it suddenly. ( and it was already a very touchy ship in the fandom for reasons ) I woke up the next morning to my muse’s partner having abandoned her in a hotel room and running off with not only another character, but an UNDERAGE ONE. I ended up having to quit the group because it just upset me so much. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the other writer had talked to me and told me what they were thinking ( and I get I don’t own their character; but it was a group thing and it affected more than just them for it. ) or even done that with the group. But neither did and they both just turned our hard work into a crack thing with threads that didn’t fit in with the narrative at all. ( It was especially problematic because my character was only involved with the characters in the actual group in the verse through him. So there wasn’t really anywhere for my character to fit in since she hadn’t made relationships with characters that were alive in it. She was older than the others so she couldn’t interact in a school way like most of them did. Also did I mention my character had actual abandonment issues in her bio from the very beginning? ) They could have just done it outside the group but they did it to the group verse. 

But because of the above I started having full blown panic attacks IRL. Even during my college classes. My character was legit distracting me and messing with me. I don’t know if it is because I am a Pisces ( Super empathetic ) or?? A lot of my friends IRL have in the past called me an empath at times. I started to feel like Phoebe in Charmed honestly. AND IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING. I didn’t RP for a good 6 months in any fandom because it messed with me so badly.

My friends from the group RP contacted me a few months later once things had calmed down and I’d finally gotten back on to that account. They saw me make a post about lurking and let me know that the other two had left the group and that they had all been uncomfortable and upset by it as well along with an apology for not doing anything sooner. It was very sweet. I didn’t blame them at all but it was nice to hear it wasn’t just me over reacting to the #drama. The person that hadn’t been playing the character dating mine was a new person to the group and ended up a trouble maker apparently. It was actually the both of them as 2 of the 3 newer members. The third one had fit in a lot better and is loved by all. 

So..... that happened. I know it sounds confusing since I am not naming characters. Basically Character A and Character B were together in a group verse. Person C came in and was like ‘wouldn’t it be cool if...’ and so B left A for C. B and C then wrote very crack and stupid threads that messed up the group verse. B and C then got kicked out later. A came back eventually when I could RP again without having anxiety attacks and we all had fun writing again. I still talk to the writers from that group. We have a discord server to keep up with each other. <3 I love them all very much. They are all very sweet.

2. In another fandom I had a minor character that I’d fleshed out ( as you can see I like to do ;) ) and started writing with someone who was the SO of my character in canon. They told me they had bad luck before with another account of my character and asked if we could start them out as broken up and then work up to them getting back together. I was perfectly fine with this because I could easily relate. lol

This mun however had a power and a ‘I know everything’ complex. They were several years younger than me and definitely did not know everything about said fandom and would very regularly get things wrong. But lots of people would turn to them for information about canon because they repeatedly would make posts about how they were an authority on the subject. They started making their blog an advice for the fandom blog along with a character blog before making a separate blog to tell people how to play their characters essentially. Which I am NOT okay with. :/ 

But then they started being very rude to my character. We would talk ooc about mine (A) and theirs (B) then in threads she would do basically the opposite of what she said. My blog is independent and multimuse so my muse (A) ended up dating a brother of muse B’s character that was a mutual to both of us. They then started picking fights with me and the other mun (character C’s mun). And before that they had been kind of emotionally abusing the other mun repeatedly telling her she was wrong on things she wrote or was thinking of doing. 

I began to write with Muse B very rarely due to not liking their attitude and their character was not trying at all to get along with mine. No matter what I did she always had a problem with it or her muse did. So I started writing more with Mun C/Character C. We built each other’s characters up in a healthy ( or as healthy as that fandom could get XD ) relationship/way. Eventually Mun C stopped writing a lot with muse B. Suddenly Mun B had a whole new set of people to play with and they ignored us stating that they were writing with real writers now and how good their new friends were. They became like the #Clique of the fandom and were constantly tearing people down while also sending in anons to appreciation blogs about each other. 

Somehow I always get involved in #drama. Apparently male muses are nothing but trouble?? J/K I love all of you male muse RPers out there. Never had anything near the above happen in the Sherlock fandom.

☣ Have you ever rp'd with someone you knew for a fact was abusive but tried to give them a chance/to make up your own opinion on the roleplayer? Did they change or did you understand what people were talking about?

✂ A fandom that you feel isn't open and accepting?

No not really. I mean I didn’t realize they were toxic until a few years later but it was only towards me outside they were miss popular on their secret blogs and what not.

I’ve been in many fandoms and so far all of them to a degree aren’t opening and accepting. I CAN tell you from my experience that the Marvel rpc is toxic as fuck as is the FFXV rpc or what is left of it is filled with cliques. ASoIaF rpc is also full of cliques and bullies (my ex abuser included) who will ostracize you for adhering to the book canons because people don’t seem to read or research anymore and take what’s on television as be all end all of canon

lol back in my day everything was in asterisks and nobody cut their posts or tagged nsfw, it was chaotic as fuck. i think rp has just gained like a polite etiquette of sorts over time which is welcome. i also like that most blogs are dash only these days, i find that a lot more accessible b/c navigating blogs can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

☺  What tends to bring out your muse the most? What inspires you?

reading or watching tarkin’s appearances in sw or just generally talking about him, headcanons and such. my muse can be v fleeting sometimes due to adhd but when it is there its like RIGHT THERE AND IT WONT GO AWAY.

⛅  Do you believe aesthetics are another form of expression?

absolutely. esp bc im still new to writing but ive been making art for all my life so im very into visuals and ive done so much schooling about thinking about visuals. even just reblogging and tagging things its like curating a lil gallery on ur blog. my best friend is often getting inspo before we work on threads or plotting so we have lots of ideas and lil visuals to mix in between us

and then with things like how you present your writing i believe it absolutely can be as well. esp bc this is a hobby and ur not getting graded nor submitting anything for publishing people should feel more chill about just experimenting. ( sometimes having a polished set of icons and text style might be the most inspiring canvas / starting place for someone so maybe they dont need to experiment anymore with them anymore and thats grand too )

im really about people feeling out what they like. theres always been trends in the art world or storytelling world so im not surprised people have icon and edit trends too. even if something isnt what you like that doesnt mean you cant like that other ppl like it c:

ive yelled a lot about my best friend so far and im fully prepared to yell more about how i love him

but in the interest of having more variety to these answers i gotta say all the people who take time to post headcanons and character development stuff independently of anyone theyre rping with. who just write great things because they can and feel like it! very inspiring!

i already answered the in depth honest answer here, but as far as the lil icing on the cake things:

cats. playing games with my best friend. funny moments between friends in games ( hilarious glitches or ic nonsense ) and i know a rly happy baby who always has a big smile and lil chubby hands ready to clap whenever she sees me

rpwise… joking about muses n threads ooc w others. comparing muses to animals. i like to draw silly things too when i have time hehehe

oh and seeing other ppls pets!!! animals are good!!!!!!

♦ How has roleplaying on Tumblr improved since you started out?

ah i couldnt answer this before but i remember when i started it seemed like there were more mean ppl? idk if its that being an asshole is less acceptable or if ive just done such a good job of following nice people but my dash is usu full of supportive and understanding writers c:

⚓ Are there any small details you tend to like in roleplays?

oh rhythm a lot! sometimes when im writing i get the beat of a sentence in my head long before i get the words ( usually for the start of starters if it happens? ) and i just throw in words to fit it and figure out how to make them make sense later

but i often read my own stuff out loud to see if its about where i want it to be and sometimes ill read my partners reply out loud to shake my own words from my head or to get a better feel for what were writing together. some characters are just made of melody and i like to read their dialogue again and again and just feel the music of them hehe

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 --- what's your family like?

i got pretty lucky with the family i got. i’m super close with my grandma and my grandpa. i live with them and they are super sweet and very easy to get along with. before my mom passed away we were also super close, almost like sisters more so than anything. she was awesome. my dad and his family i’m not close with. haven’t spoke to my dad in almost a year. but my dad’s sister is a wonderful lady and she is the one who got me a new laptop when mine bit the dust so she’s amazing. overall i have a pretty good family! c:

//a good laugh c’: laughing really just does so much for me, like sometimes i don’t realize how much i need a good, hearty laugh that lasts for minutes on end until it happens to me, and it’s such a great way for me to lift my mood. it’s so good for me to surround myself with people who have a good sense of humor ( and yall are some goobers sometimes and it’s the best to see your fun energy on the dash, in the ims, or on discord) 

☘ Is there anything that makes you instantly want to follow someone?

//i don’t really care about blog layout or anything like that. what really gets me interested is if i get an immediate plot idea for that other muse and leah after reading the muse’s bio, or if i see a potential for a certain kind of relationship i’d be interested in discussing with the mun. a possibility for a toxic relationship always makes me go !!!!! because i feel like those are harder to form usually, so of course i’m gonna shoot my shot. but also, a muse who just ??? makes leah go !!!! bc she admires them is another biggie.
