Proton leans in from behind and drops a small model of one of the Magnet Train's carts into Emmett's hands. A little something to show his appreciation.

Emmet had come to expect many things. How his weird habits would not only be tolerated but appreciated. How someone could not only look at him, but see him too. And how he could feel... safe, so safe with someone that it felt like sunny days would never be over. Still, out of all things he was starting to grow used to and cherish, gifts had been a real challenge.
Eyes widened at the item dropped to his hands. Gears whirring up. Maglev? Maglev. A model train version that could not be bought around Unova. ...
"Fuck off." A real classy answer, before bursting into hysterical giggles. "No!!! I am Emmet! I have searched everywhere to get this--it was never-- Prrroton!!!" Emmet had to hug, but also there was no power on earth that could separate him from his magnet train now. So, off to biting the poor maglev as he folded his arms around Proton.

"fffanks!!!" Oh, this was the best!!! Perfect! Emmet gave his biggest, bone-crushing hug (which was not a lot, considering his limited strength), he took the maglev under his chin, pressing to his neck as he took a pen and Proton's hand, guiding him to draw the straight lines.
"The Magnet Train of Kanto and Johto is a maglev!! A train with a superconducting magnet hovering above a magnetized rail." Emmet, satisfied with figure 1.a, continued onto the second one, with a circle in middle and straight lines curling around it before heading straight again. "The train is suspended due to the Meissner effect. This effect more or less says that magnetic fields can not penetrate the superconducting material, instead forcing the field to curve around the superconductor, effectively acting as a force against the field lines!!!"
The diagram of Meissner effect was finished now, so Emmet took Proton's hand to kiss, before tilting his head and offering a small, goofy grin--the gift still tucked between his neck and chin. "The magnetic field which is repelled around the boundary causes the super conducting magnet to produce current to flow around the super conductor, which causes a magnetic field of its own, holding the maglev train up!! Isn't it amazing?"
Oh, and a third figure now. Emmet picked up the pen to draw this himself. This time, it was a cartoon heart, with the lines shooting through it. Their initials on each side of the lines. "And this the Proton effect. Yup. Science says so."

Scientists Discovered a New Type of Super Conductor
One of the ultimate aims of modern physics is to make the superconducting materials, in which electricity flows with zero resistance, to operate at room temperature. Although progress has been slow, scientists have made an unexpected breakthrough in 2018: a new kind of superconductor
First of all, let's understand what is superconductor. Normally when we turn on a light in the house, the electricity passes through the cables in the wall very quickly but there are very serious losses. In other words, this situation is not efficient at all. Electricity is carried by electrons that multiply the atoms through the material through which it passes, and in each collision they lose some of their energy. This is the reason why electricity networks lose 7 percent of their electricity.
In addition, when some materials are cooled to very very low temperatures, something that is not normal happens: the electrons become pairs and begin to flow without resistance. This phenomenon, called super conductivity, is important enough to revolutionize electricity. So, it can reduce the loss to almost zero and increase productivity to 100%.
The good news is that many items have this feature. Even now, MR devices and maglev trains are used in Japan. The bad news is that it's pretty expensive to make that substance super-conductive. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use super conductors anywhere due to this process, which also requires bulky equipment.

Researchers, under the leadership of the University of Maryland in 2018, observed a new kind of superconductivity while investigating an exotic material at super-cold temperatures. Not only did this superconductivity appear in an unexpected material, it seemed to be based on electron interactions that were so different from the matches we've seen so far. This means we don't understand what the potential of this material is.
To understand the difference, the electrons have an interaction called "Spin quantum". As you may recall in high school, the number of spin quantum in standard superconductors is 1/2. But the quantum number of spin that is discovered and referred to as YPtBi is 3/2
Physicist and senior writer Johnpierre Paglione said, "No one had thought that it was possible in solid materials," and he continued his words as follows: When these atoms combine and solidify, they are usually broken and a 1/2 spin remains in your hand. "
It was discovered a few years ago that YPtBi was superconductor. In fact, this situation was surprising in itself because this material did not comply with the main rule of superconductivity: normal conductivity, but with normal electrons.
According to the traditional theory, YPtBi is superconducting at temperatures below 0,8 Kelvin. about a thousand times more needed mobile electronics. But when the researchers cooled the material, they still encountered superconductivity.
In order to understand what was going on here, researchers examined the way material interacts with magnetic fields in 2018. When a material passes into a superconducting state, it usually tries to remove the subsequently added magnetic field from its surface, but the magnetic field can again enter the sides immediately before it deteriorates rapidly. The influence or penetration of the site depends on the nature of the internal electron match.

The team used copper coils to detect changes in the magnetic properties of YPtBi while changing the temperature of the test medium. What they found was weird. When the material warmed up from absolute zero (0 Kelvin), the amount that the magnetic field could penetrate the material was increasing linearly, not exponentially, as opposed to the standard superconductors. they decided that it should be disguised as high spin particles.
Although this new type of superconductivity still requires incredibly low temperatures, discovery gives a new direction to the whole subject. 'But if we begin to think about higher spins, the topic of research on superconductivity is growing considerably and it's becoming more interesting. Prologue
The year is 2026, and America is hyped for the presidential election. For the Republican Party, we have the renowned George Adams, and for the Communist party, we have Karl Mark (absolute sicko!).
There were two men who were sceptical about this election, they both lived at the time of the 2016 election and knew what would happen if the Democratic Party won, so what would happen if the Communist Party won? These people, Luke Iannone and Jack Hoge, had stocked up on guns, food, water, and ammo ever since the year 2019, and were ready for whatever this election had to throw at them. If the communist party won, America would spiral into anarchy, and chaos would reign. But Jack lived in the time of the 2016 election, so he knew that George Adams would win.
He was wrong.
Karl Mark won at the election by a landslide. It was checked and double checked, and it seemed that Karl won ¾ of the American population. That last quarter stood up, and rose against Karl Mark, led by their fearless leaders: Luke Iannone and Jack Hoge.
Karl Mark ruined America, by first calling it Murica (really?) and communising the whole country. This war raged for a whole year, and Luke being a jenius, happened to create a special type of gun called a focus beam mk-1. This gun used heat coils to charge protons, then fire them in a focused beam of light that vaporises anything in its path. Even with these marvels of engineering, the war waged until 2028, when Luke had a brilliant idea…

“Oi! Jack!” Luke yelled from a mobile command centre, get in here, I’ve got somethin’ to show you, some hope for the ‘Futeonian Rebellion’!“
Jack hopped out of the trenches and ran for the mobile command centre, or mcc.
“Hey Luke,” Jack said with a sigh as he mildly slammed his helmet onto the table, “watch-ya got for me?”.
“I plan ahead all the time, right?”
Jack replied, “right.”
“And it never fails, right?”
Jack was a little offset for some reason, “OK?”
“I’ve been studying old American history in the forbidden archive on the deep web, America was created because of religious freedom, and so they left their mother country, that being Britain, to go live in the ‘new world’. They then created their own country by 1776. Am I right?”
Jack had to remember his old school days, “Yeah, I think so.”
What Luke then said was inspiring, “Why don’t we just do that?!”
Jack spun in shock
“I’ve already picked out an island, the one right smack in the Bermuda Triangle, and I know it is safe because there are already workers there making small but suitable villages there for…” he paused, “for what’s left of the rebellion. How many are left of the 1 billion, only 4000 right. That communist is a nut! A killer! *sigh* Call them all back, in a few hours, the sun would have set, that’s when we can strike the harbour and steal a freight ship to escape to Bermuda, or should I say… Futeonia!”
21:30——9:30 pm
The siege was a success. The ship was loaded, fuelled, and was ready to set off, but Luke had one more thing for them to do.
“Although they may hear us,” Luke said, “it is truly respectful to fire the 21 shot salute for the whole of those that laid down their lives for this moment. Ready arms… FIRE!”
The shots fired, the shots stopped. Then, a moment of silence for the one billion people Karl Mark killed out of hate. Then, they set off for their new home.
Futeonia.

The rebellion settled on the quaint little island without being noticed, and readied their lives for a new life. But when the Americans came to the new world, they had primitive technology, the rebellion… or should I say, the Futeonians, had newer technology from 2026, and by 2032, Futeonia was the most technologically enhanced country in the world. Cities with White metal and light blue highlights were everywhere. Murica had fallen, and Karl Mark and his secret apprentice escaped without a trace. But Luke took this as a good opportunity, now the emperor of Futeonia, he ordered that all their foods would be fresh grown from the new 'Old American Farms’. New forms of transport, suck as hover cars and maglevs traversed the city. Currency was turned digital, and was as easy as a swipe of your Digicoin card. Multiple extra layers of land wrapping earth multiple times over, helped with the recent overpopulation problem. A new synthetic metal was created, and named FUTURAGNESIUM, as it would be the main metal for the empire, as it is super conductive, has a melting point of 4000000013 degrees Centigrade, a rusting age calculated to be ~3000 years, and near indestructible durability. This metal was used to create the capital building, a building named Futionia’s Spire, a skyscraper with a hight of over 7000 miles high (hard to believe? Look at the metal it was made of!). Futeonia was destined for success! As for the other countries of the world, other than Futeonia, the great Murican war obliterated all but Australia, and western Russia, which were treated with supplies, and provisions from Futeonia, and respected as their own.

Now the year is 2035, and Luke and Jack, as well as their families’ personal bodyguard and friend Jesse Dugo, had decided to take up a few offers for peace treaties from other empires who had fallen and needed assistance, asking if they could join the empire. Luke and Jack agreed to sign them on public holovision.
“Ladies, Gents, let’s see what we have here,” Luke’s voice boomed over the loud speakers in the whole empire, “we have a few treaties from other empires that want to become part of us! Shall I sign?”
Luke paused with a purpose, the whole empire didn’t remember any other empire. Australia was true and stable, destined to survive another 4000 years or something like that, and Russia was the same, who were these other empires the emperor spoke of? “I guess we will sign them!” Luke, Jack, and Jesse exclaimed.“
Jesse called for the guards to bring the thermal pens to the table they were at.
"Ladies and gentlemen!” Luke said, “I am proud to present the latest additions to our Empire as we sign them: the Satrionian empire from Saturn, the Uranian empire from Uranus, and the Plutonians hailing from Pluto!”
The empire was stunned.
“Thank you all for tuning in, but now we must reach for greater heights! Heights never achieved by man, woman, or creature ever before!”
