>> Clelia Ciardulli is a radio broadcaster and soundscapist - and crucially, a “citizen of nowhere”. She was born in Bolzano, spent her childhood in Chiavenna (Sondrio, Italy) and her entire adult life in the UK, first in Sheffield England and the in Glasgow, Scotland. Now she is based in Berlin, Germany. Clelia’s journey into music started with her mum’s record collection, then on the dancefloor: she learnt basic DJ skills from  the Red Tape Studios (Sheffield) in 2000 and all there was left to do is to follow one’s bliss. The best opportunity came with the night DisOriental (Bradford), exploring the rich cultural intersections of Britan’s dance floor musical output. The search for different places to create space for people with music begun. In 2013 she joined The Audacious Art Experiment, a DIY autonomous space where she encountered the lived experience of punk, post-punk, noise, improv and a way for people to gather and experience outside of the club/venues music industry: this opened the opportunity to break out of given and purchasable musical experiences and to witness instead to a self-organised, open access, educational and critical network of musicians and activists. Thinking about La Squadra Esecuzioni from Jojo part 5 and how fucking wasted their potential was. I mean a spinoff on them? I'll start with some stupid shit, by saying that Formaggio is the biggest Rome " tifoso " ( soccer fan on a whole another level ) and grew up in a family that cheered for Lazio ( Rome's main rival, each match between the two of them is a massacre )

Illuso and Prosciutto bond at 3 am watching replicas of the soap opera " beautiful " and episodes of " Stranamore " By Alberto Castagna ( basically a tv show where couples tries to reconcile/meet again after years, authentic trash 90's italian tv )

Risotto is afraid of chickens, his beloved nonna owned them and once when he was 4 he got stuck in the chicken's coop, all the birds started clucking and running after him ..the poor man is still traumatized

Vera Lynn

Vera Lynn è la cantante passata alla storia con il brano We Will Meet Again, che ha rincuorato i soldati inglesi durante la seconda guerra mondiale e che, ancora oggi, è tra le melodie patriottiche più amate in Gran Bretagna.

La canzone venne utilizzata da Stanley Kubrick nella colonna sonora del film Il dottor Stranamore del 1964 e ha visto una nuova rinascita dopo che la Regina Elisabetta II ne ha citato il testo in un discorso fatto al paese durante la fase più critica della pandemia da Covid -19 nel 2020.

A lei, Roger Waters dei Pink Floyd ha dedicato la canzone Vera, tratta da The Wall nel 1979.

Vera Lynn è lo pseudonimo di Vera Margaret Welch nata a Londra il 20 marzo 1917 in una famiglia umile. Ha iniziato a cantare nei pub all’età di sette anni, ha adottato il cognome da nubile della nonna materna come pseudonimo quando ne aveva undici e si è unita a una band giovanile chiamata Madame Harris’s Kracker Kabaret Kids.

Esibendosi nel circuito del music hall inglese, nel 1933, è stata notata da Howard Baker che l’aveva invitata a unirsi alla sua orchestra. Con lui ha inciso il suo primo disco, It’s Home, nel 1935, anno in cui ha partecipato anche alla sua prima trasmissione radiofonica, con la Joe Loss Orchestra.

Il suo cavallo di battaglia, la canzone We Will Meet Again, con la musica di Ross Parker e le parole di Hugh Charles, è stata incisa nel 1939 insieme al marito, Harry Lewis, clarinettista e sassofonista.

Il suo successo è avvenuto durante il secondo conflitto mondiale, tanto che un sondaggio del Daily Express l’aveva dichiarata come la cantante più amata dai soldati britannici. In quegli anni conduceva un programma radiofonico diretto alle truppe, ha cantato nella metropolitana di Londra, usata come rifugio durante i bombardamenti, e si è esibita per i soldati al fronte in Egitto, Birmania e India. Sfidando il pericolo, con la sua voce, ha portato conforto a chi combattevae ai malati negli ospedali di guerra.

Amatissima e rassicurante, ha rappresentato la speranza e la resilienza di una generazione devastata.

Il successo straordinario della sua canzone ha originato, nel 1943, l’omonimo film che l’ha vista protagonista.

Dopo la guerra la sua fama si è estesa anche negli Stati Uniti, tanto che, nel 1952 è stata la prima artista inglese a raggiungere il primo posto della classifica americana con Auf wiederseh’n sweetheart.

È stata premiata con una lunga serie di onorificenze, fra cui la nomina a Dama dell’Impero Britannico nel 1965.

Negli anni Sessanta e settanta ha condotto diversi programmi televisivi e continuato a incidere dischi. La sua ultima esibizione pubblica è stata a Buckingham Palace, nel 1995.

Considerata un vero e proprio monumento nazionale, a 92 anni, nel 2009, è stata l’artista più anziana a raggiungere la prima posizione nella classifica degli album del Regno Unito con la compilation We’ll Meet Again: The Very Best of Vera Lynn.

Nello stesso anno ha fatto causa al British National Party per aver usato la sua canzone The White Cliff of Dover in un album contro l’immigrazione che tradiva completamente i suoi ideali.

Nel 2014 ha pubblicato la raccolta Vera Lynn: National Treasure e tre anni dopo è uscito Vera Lynn 100, una compilation di successi per commemorare i suoi cent’anni che, col suo terzo posto, l’ha resa la prima performer centenaria ad avere un album nella Top 10.

È morta il 18 giugno 2020 alla bella età di 103 anni nella sua casa di Ditchling, nel Sussex orientale. Messaggi di cordoglio sono arrivati da celebrità come la Regina Elisabetta, Paul Mc Cartney e Elton John.

Dopo la sua dipartita i suoi dischi hanno risalito le classifiche.
