okay awesome i was directed to a whole website where i can make these so much quicker than manually editing templates in mspaint. SMILES SO INCREDIBLY BIG. so here's steve and robin's sheets again! starring their melded modification! basically, any stat changes that one gets happens to the other one as well. it also causes their soulscreams + vibes to match!

steve has his nail bat which lowers his batting stars (balls get stuck...) but ups defense :) that isn't passed through the melded mod though so robbie is not worse than she normally is dw <3

i want to draw steve and robin in their stupid little blaseball uniforms helmet INCLUDED holding hands on second base big grins on their faces catcher's mitts on opposite hands. defending that base WITH THEIR LIFE. fuck it. the whole infield. steve's nail bat is held in their conjoined hands. they can use it to get extra reach on catching flyballs. BUT I CAN;T DRAW. it has to stay in my goddamned head

after i make my notes and write shit does anyone want to volunteer to be the non-blaseball fan that makes sure what i'm writing isn't completely deranged and unintelligible

i figured out their FIELD POSITIONS. note i did not include nancy/barb/eddie/jonathan as they are all picthers and in blaseball(and baseball) the pitchers do not defend ever. its very funny and yes that does leave steve and robin as the only older teens on the field. always the babysitter steve(&robin). yes even in evil baseball universe. more details under the CUT

steve and robin make every problem a two person problem. that includes defending second base

011 picked a point in the field to stand and she stood there. most of the kids orbit her in some way

mike gets pretty close to 011 but like. not so close that he's stupidly out of his place and definitely not whatever steve and robin are doing

will was supposed to be 1st base but he has kinda drifted after mike

dustin is supposed to be third base but he's kinda floating toward steve to talk her ear off or whatever

max wants to seem kind of aloof and cool so she sticks to the very edge but makes sure she's close to lucas and el

lucas in turn drifts a bit towards her. but not as close as what mike and 011 are doing

erica wants to stand as far away from everyone as possible and mostly watch but be able to take the glory of catching a really far ball if it happens

all of this leads to a fine defensive team. they don't have very many holes but a lot of them are in various ways distracted. lol

i haaaave been working on my blaseball au outline (it even has a name now woah (its called "snow shouldn't fall like this")) in sporadic bursts but the problem is that i keep drifting to steve and robin's dynamic and just moving them around in my brain like dolls instead of thinking about the plot. anyway they're childhood friends after they were trapped in a burning building together. i don't think i'll ever find a reason to actually write that out but it feels important to speak into the world

biggest reason i am trying to wrangle the blaseball au as a whole project is so i can write psychic stobin playing sports together. if i am being honest

i have two options.... actually work on a timeline and figure out how the blaseball au works so i can write it. OR. keep making player pages <3 which is way more fun <3

ive been thinking on modifications to give to characters in my blaseball au and it totally slipped my mind that curse of crows was a thing. CACKLING. it causes the player to be attacked by birds in bird weather. giving it to eddie btw. obviously

#curse of crows (the song) came on shuffle and i was like. Oh my god. eddie #in the blaseball au he's kind of a mix between mike townsend and tillman henderson #a really bad pitcher that everyone kind of hates because he's bad at blaseball and insufferable #but then he sacrifices himself for a teammate to earn redemption or whatever #and then he gets resurrected and he's just. even worse at blaseball and still so insufferable #he and steve do have a tilldec situation going on don't even worry about it #quincy.txt #blb st #ssflt

also i have been having real genuine thoughts about writing my blaseball au. i think i know how it could work

#el being a parker figure... i don't think she's the commissioner though. i think she's a player like parker prime was #she is similarly a failed sun/son (she is transgender. its blaseball after all) #brenner would be a stand in for the coin but i also think he would die kinda early on #so the real threat would be vecna/the mind flayer #and i think something along the lines of the infinite cities would happen to hawkins #so if they're the hawkins hunters before they would be turned into the upside down hunters or the sretnuh snikwah. haven't decided yet #this is complete and utter nonsense to everyone thats not me. i understand this #if anyone wants me to spill my guts about this au. rubber duck them. i xan and will explain blaseball so i can explain this au. smiles big #quincy.txt #blb st #ssflt
