You pushed open the door to Aaron's office, the soft creak of the hinges echoing through the room. The dim lighting and quiet atmosphere enveloped you, compared to the loud room you just came from.

Aaron sat at his desk, his dark hair flew in all different directions and his eyes narrowed in concentration as he worked over the latest case files. The faint scent of coffee wandered through the air, mingling with the subtle hint of his cologne.

As you approached, his gaze flickered up, locking onto yours with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat. You smiled, knowing he needed a break from the weight of his responsibilities.

Closing the door behind you your boots clicking softly on the floor a you move to stand behind him.

You reached out, gently grasping his shoulders as your fingers dug into the stiff knots that formed due to his stress.

He tensed for a moment, then relaxed, a soft sigh escaping his lips as his head dropped forward. “hey sweetheart” he murmured, his voice low and husky, sending a shiver down your spine.

You worked out the kinks, your hands moving in slow circles, feeling the muscles relax beneath your touch. His hair was a mess, and his eyes looked tired. You leaned in, your lips brushing against his ear, sending a thrill through both of you.

"You need to take care of yourself, Aaron," you whispered. "take a break, clear your mind." He turned his head, his eyes meeting yours, and for a moment, you just looked at each other.

The air was charged with tension, the connection between you palpable. You reached out, tilting his head up, and pressed your lips to his. It was a soft, gentle kiss, but it sent shivers down your spine.

Just as you pulled back, the door burst open, and Penelope's excited voice filled the room. "Sorry to bother you sir- Oh my god, oh my god! I knew it! I knew you two were meant to be!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.

Aaron's face turned bright red as he quickly stood up, trying to compose himself. You couldn't help but laugh, feeling a little embarrassed. Penelope's enthusiasm was infectious, you couldn’t help but smile.
