Vulcans get intoxicated by sugar which means spock can get double fucked up on the fruitiest drinks

i think it’s sucrose specifically but i really don’t know or care what that means because i only passed gen chem and ochem because my professors took mercy on my poor chemistry-illiterate soul

but anyway yeah i think chekov and scotty make fun of spock for drinking fruity alcoholic drinks but bones and/or kirk inform them that vulcans get fucked up on anything that’s got too much sucrose and spocks half human half vulcan so by drinking stuff with alcohol and sucrose, he’s getting double fucked up and from then on, scotty and chekov think spocks an absolute fuckin madman
