i recently got back into dont starve together and i realize how much i LOVE community. its so wonderful to me. i just love being around people i love and people that love me.

this was super prominent with my boyfriend. him and i have been struggling to spend time together because of work, school, and other plans getting in teh way. so when we sat down and finally got to spend time with each other i have never felt more loved. ever. its so overwhelming i love human connection

Mom took away my tech and friends after discovering I was hiding being a system from her and Host is NOT taking it well, right now it's Host and me (Caine) trying to talk at the same time so she doesn't end up being incoherent

we even have a contact on our phone that our mother will think making things worse will be a good consequence for

we are almost ready to start an actual career and she's doing this to us

our s/h is back in full stride and we're struggling to keep our Faith, even what helps us truly relax is barely a distraction from anything

we love you (literally all of you, at least one of us loves you, genuinely) and we're sorry, please please do not vent to us and we're sorry if we vent to you at any sort of un ideal time, just say so and I personally promise to stop it

Tornavo dal supermercato (ho comprato: del lievito di birra, delle patate, due melanzane, un succo di frutta all'albicocca, un etto di pancetta, un euro e venti di noccioline): sono stata molto tentata dall'opportunità di raccogliere dall'asfalto un lecca lecca dai colori sgargianti (blu e rosso acceso), evidentemente caduto dal bottino di ieri sera di qualche bambino. Ieri ho riempito la ciotola nel salotto di cioccolatini, prima c'erano soltanto avanzi: caramelle al limone e chupa-chups dei gusti respingenti (al caramello). Mia madre mi ha mandato una zucca, anche la zucca è ora sullo stesso mobile. Aspettavo che passasse Halloween prima di smembrarla e conservarla in pezzi in frigo per i risotti a venire. In frigo ci sono degli ovetti kinder che promettono plasticose sorprese dalla forma di animale della savana. Purtroppo, non è passato nessun bambino. Luca doveva lavorare, ormai sono un paio di giorni che lo si becca sveglio nel cuore della notte a spiegare che con ogni probabilità i problemi di accesso ai comandi sono dovuti al fatto che era inserito il caps lock al momento di digitare la password. Così ho preparato la cena, mi sono disegnata dei baffi sulla faccia e ho tracciato delle ferite spillate in fretta da una cucitrice a Luca, ed abbiamo mangiato hamburger melanzane arrosto purea di patate lattughina carote pomodori tagliati a fette. Gli ho chiesto: "Dolcetto o scherzetto?" ed è saltato fuori un gelato gusto puffo. Dolcetto e scherzetto insieme ;-) Poi mi sono sbronzata da sola col gin rosa, ho letto poesiole sui topi e guardato un film horror cantato in polacco.

Questa mattina alle dieci ho annunciato: "Non riesco a cucinare per tempo, pranzeremo alle 15". Sto ignorando infatti le patate che bollono sul fuoco.

È l’una di notte ed è ufficialmente il giorno precedente il test. Non so come mi sento, so solo che in queste ultime settimane non sono riuscita a fare granché, mi sento stanca mentalmente, faccio punteggi diversi tra loro e non so cosa aspettarmi. Domani è il grande giorno ed è la mia ultima possibilità.

Passata questa, continuerò con biotecnologie e mi spaventa a morte questa cosa perché in tal caso dovrei trasferirmi all’estero per avere opportunità lavorative decenti. Mi fa paura perché non so se S. sarebbe disposto a seguirmi chissà dove, a maggior ragione se sta per comprarsi casa qui.

Ma come al solito io viaggio troppo con la testa, devo pensare innanzitutto a domani, a dare il mio meglio, che basti o meno. Devo sentirmi in grado. Cercherò di stamparmi nel cervello le parole del mio psicoterapeuta quando mi disse “Giulia, tu sarai un medico”. Le ho spillate dentro di me, incise, e voglio dargli una forma reale, voglio che questo sia reale. Voglio il mio riscatto.
