{~The happiest ever~}

Ricky knew from a young age that he would be seen differently.

I mean, look at him.

The non-verbal kid who couldn't walk.

The weirdo.

The lonely kid.

The innocent one.

The boy with no friends.

But that all changed the day Ocean O'Connell Rosemberg came up to them and asked if they wanted to join the choir.

It was a stupid question really, he thought to himself. "Why would I join the choir? I mean...they have an AAC, but that could only talk. Not sing."

But, he joined anyways, out of curiosity. There was Constance, the nice girl. Noel, the romantic one. Mischa, the angry one, Ocean, the narcissist and Penny, the quiet one.

However...that's what everyone else thought.

Constance was so much more then the nice kid. She was strong, brave and courageous.

Noel was a boy with plenty of dreams and stuck to his words, always.

Don't let Mischa's masculinity fool you, he was the nicest person in the choir.

Ocean, while yes, she was an over-achiever, she always tried helping and was constantly telling them how to stay safe.

Penny...Penny was beautiful in Ricky's opinion. Outside and Inside. She was always really nice and was very caring.

The choir saw each other for who they really are.

To the choir, Ricky wasn't the weird kid. They were creative, kind and out-going.

Flash forward to Ricky's birthday. Ricky never bothered with birthdays, ever since their tenth birthday. They invited his entire class to his space themed birthday, but nobody showed.

While he tried to show his parents they didn't care, but deep down, it hurt really badly that NOBODY showed.

He woke up and got dressed and went to the sitting room. Mid-way through the day, he got a notification from their phone.

MischaDaBadEgg: Hey dude, you wanna come over?

Ricky thought for a second. "Hm. I have nothing going on." He thought.

SpaceJesus: Sure

He asked his mom to drop her off, but they noticed fairly quickly noticed she was acting strangely. "Have a great time sweetheart. I just know you'll have a great time!" She called out as they wobbled to balance on her crutches.

She went around the back and knocked on the back door. Mischa opened the door. "Hey Ricky! Happy birthday!" He said as he wrapped his arms around them and walked him inside.

"Close your eyes. I have surprise." Mischa ordered. Ricky slowly closed their eyes, wondering what Mischa had done.

"Open them!"

Ricky opened their eyes and...

"SURPRISE!"

The choir jumped out from behind different places in the basement. Noel had a banner in his arms that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", Constance came out from beneath the table with a box that had cake inside it, Ocean had a large present in her arms and Penny had a part popper and a paper crown.

Ricky stared at them and started to tear up. Their real friends had remembered and had a surprise party for him.

It was the happiest he ever was.

Hey everyone! My name is Casey Staggs and this is my art inspired blog! This blog is going to be directed towards the different music and art shows I attend in Atlanta, as well as artists I believe are worth introducing and make a personal impact on me. I will talk about the musician and/or artist, as well as the experience itself and how it made me feel. I live in East Atlanta Village which is about three miles from the heart of Atlanta so art is constantly surrounding me. I have always been very interested in all art forms and have always made it important to me to attend as many shows as I could. I have kept every ticket stub I have received to enjoy in the future so I can have something to look back on.  

The electronic DJ’s name is Jasha Tull from New Jersey, currently residing in Boulder, Colorado. Jasha goes by Space Jesus in the music world, and his name speaks for his style itself. His music is always overwhelming captivating by the time portal he throws you into head first to only travel to his next dimension he has somehow created with his music and eccentric visuals throughout his set. Insomniacs blog about Space Jesus gives the perfect description of his sound saying, “With a focus on alien basslines, gangster beats, and future feels, the Spaceman imprints his signature sound onto each genre he graces”.  

Recently on January 11th I attended his show at Variety Playhouse just down the street from my house. He is currently on his tour which is called the Temple of Noom that is touring all over the United States of America. This show was one to remember being completely sold out and him showing off everything he has been working on. Jasha is constantly looking for a lower frequency to show all of his beloved “bassheads”. Good Looks Collective expresses the same thing stating on their blog, “Recognized for his commanding stage presence and equally compelling compositions, Space Jesus continues to spread his brand of bass music for those with a peculiar sonic palate”. I have seen him perform at Variety Playhouse, Terminal West, Suwannee Hulaween Music Festival, and every time was something new and captivating. Space Jesus has also performed for TomorrowWorld, Shambhala, and MysteryLand which are all huge festivals giving him all the credit he deserves.
