THOUGHTS:
=======================
When we give unto others, sometimes, we give because we see it on Instagram, or maybe we give because we think this is what we should do, so it doesn’t come from the heart. Some of us give freely and willingly because we want to and desire to help, but when we give, we give sparingly and sparingly, which means in a way that is careful to use or give only a little of something.”
So when we give this way, we are giving just enough to say we gave, and when we give in this way, we will get back in this way, but when we generously go beyond what we should, we will reap this in that way. Some of you wonder why I haven’t God given unto you or where is my blessing; how often do you bless someone else? How often do you make someone's day with something to eat, your time, or even a kind word? Some of us don’t have the finances, but we have the time, and that’s what we can give because the verse doesn’t say money; it just says to give it freely, so whatever we can give free, we must try to. Because whatever we sow, we will reap in anything we do.
Verse 7: Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver
We must give from our hearts. Whatever we decide is up to us. As I said, a lot of people think of giving meaning money, but we can give our time, we can give kind words, but whatever we do, we must be cheerful about it; if we are going to complain while doing it, don’t do it because God loves when we give cheerfully he loves to see us be happy to help one another and a lot of us don’t.
Some people say well, they got themselves into that mess or problem it’s not my job to help them, yes it is; we are our brother's keepers, but in everything, always ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IT OKAY TO HELP SOMEONE; never do it without asking, but when we ask, and he says yes help this person or  help that person we must do it in a way that is willing, and not an ugly spirit
Verse 8 And God can bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
It says here that we need to know that God will bless us abundantly so that we always have what we need and will never be without. We never have to say well, I have given my last $20.00 dollars away ,I don’t have anything left for me . God will ALWAYS take care of your needs if you give freely, and that’s what he wants us to do ,because sometimes we are planting seeds and helping people we shouldn’t be helping, but that is why we must ask the Holy Spirit , hey, how do you want me to do give today?
What is God asking you to do? Is it to help a neighbor, to help a homeless person, or to give to the community, maybe some time with the elderly or a widow? Whatever it is, do it joyously.
Verse 10: He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
Right here, the word tells us God will ensure we have. He will enlarge the harvest of the righteous because we don’t look at our accounts and say I have so much money , we don’t look at our homes and say I'm protected because of where I live ; we don’t look at our cabinets and say, I have plenty , but we look to God and say I have because I know my God will give unto me . I am complete because I know he will supply all my needs. What we have in our accounts , no matter where we live and no matter how food we have it doesn’t matter friends it’s about our heart and our relationship with Christ !
I have because God has given to me; anytime we give, we can't look at anything here on earth. Still, what does our father love? A cheerful giver, we must always want to please him in everything we do; if you're having trouble helping your neighbor , ask God to help release you from that, but you must be willing to change .
A long time ago. I did want to give because I didn’t want to be without, but once he showed me and opened my eyes to see Lui, you will have, or Lui, I will take care of you, that’s when I started to give, and felt secure in my life because I understood that he will supply me with what I need and that he’ll take care of me all I had to do is believe and trust him.
***Today, we learned how to give to people freely through our time and actions, not just financially; sometimes that’s hard to do because everyone wants money. Still, some people in this world all they want is a listening ear or a ride to the store, but we must be obedient to God when we ask him if he wants us to help someone. Are you willing to help those in need, or will you ignore helping someone because you feel they can do it themselves? We must always be our brother's keeper.
Also, this week, we learned about being behind a veil, and this happens when we ignore the truth of God to partake in our fleshly desires. We must understand the longer we allow our sins to become our master, the more we become a slave to this world and not a friend of Christ. What we have in life is temporary, but the things above us are forever. However, we must deny ourselves daily to be residents in heaven one day. We aren’t from here, so what we store up here won’t transfer over, but we must always stay in our word, waiting and listening for our father's commands. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, thank you for today and the things you have given us; lord, help us take our devotions today and this week and apply them to our lives. Sometimes, we don’t look at how good we have it or how blessed we are, but today, Father, we thank you for giving and supplying our needs. Thank you for being our anchor when we feel off balance; every day, we want to deny ourselves and follow you; help us to stay on the straight and narrow path . In Jesus' Name Amen

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will repay him for his deed. — Proverbs 19:17
The Bible has a lot to say about being generous. One of its main teachings on the subject is that the generous will be blessed for their generosity. This is especially true, as our verse for today points out, when the object of our generosity is the poor. When we give to the poor the Lord actually borrows the money from us with a promise to repay. In other words, the Lord personally guarantees that we won't lose anything by being generous.
The Lord not only makes sure we won't lose anything, He also sees to it that we will reap a bountiful harvest: "The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully" (2 Corinthians 9:6).
You don't have to be rich, however, in order to be generous and reap a bountiful harvest: "Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. And he said, "Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on" (Luke 21:1-4). It's not how much you give that impresses the Lord, but the percentage.
Failure to give generously when called upon does not actually preserve wealth: "One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and the one who waters will himself be watered" (Proverbs 11:24-25).
Further, our giving reaps a harvest in the next life as well as this life: "As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life" (1 Timothy 6:17-19).
Finally, coupling our generosity with a cheerful attitude about it pleases the Lord: "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).

I hate math
Math doesn’t come easy for me.
It takes some work. Before it soaks in. Before it makes sense.
So when something gets described in terms of math (“it all adds up to…” “…not a good rate of return…”), even if it’s just a metaphor. Even though I know that I’m not actually going to do any calculations, there’s still something in me that goes “ugh.”
Today’s first reading opens with, “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”
It’s God’s take on multiplication. The multiplication of God’s love, the multiplication of God’s grace, that is.
God’s generosity is endless.
If that’s true – and it is – then why is St. Paul telling us that if we give sparingly, we will receive sparingly?
Because how we give comes from our hands. And what’s in our hands comes from our hearts.
If our hands are full, but we’re holding onto what’s in our hands, holding onto things for dear life? It’s because our hearts are empty.
Because we’re filling the wrong thing. We’re busy trying to fill our hands. Instead of filling our hearts, with the only One who can fill them.
If our hearts are full, with the only One who can fill them? Then we’ll have something to give. Then we won’t be desperately clinging to what’s in our hands, to things.
Then we’ll be able to give bountifully. And here’s the odd thing about God’s idea of multiplication – when we do, God will give even more bountifully.
God’s multiplication isn’t intuitive. At least for me. It’s going to take some work. Before it soaks in. Before it makes sense.
But I don’t think that has as much to do with my unthinking reaction to anything math-ish, as it does with something St. Augustine said.
“God is always trying to give good things to us. But our hands are too full to receive them.”

Hi Kreg!
I have some questions about tithing. My church preaches that essentially, not tithing blocks your blessings. Pastor teaches that the tithe is holy and that what we earn belongs to God.
One of my questions is about defining what income is. I guess you could say I have three streams of income: one for my job (I’m still in probationary period so for now they’re treating me as an independent contractor), one from what I manage to sell through Mercari, and one from unemployment checks.
I also hate to admit it, but I am in thousands of dollars of credit card debt. So my questions are:
1) do I tithe 10% of every source of income?
2) I think the answer is yes, but just to check: does God want us to continue tithing even when we’re in debt?
Thank you in advance!
Heya!
So, I disagree with your church's teaching. Tithing is part of the Old Covenant. We aren't obligated to tithe at all. There is no New Testament command that we have to pay a tithe (literally a tenth of all our increase). We are commanded to give of our resources to help other Christians (and this includes everything; money, clothes, food, time, etc), but how much we give and how often is explicitly stated to be between the individual and God.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.  Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. "
The blocking of blessing thing is also suspect. The above Scripture teaches that God will bless those who give generously, and those who give sparingly, in accordance with their giving. But this doesn't mean that God only blesses Christians who give financially to a church (your giving doesn't have to be money, and it doesn't have to go to a church). God blesses those who are in Christ because of Christ. So give as you feel led to give. Give because you love God and you love His people. Give of your time, effort, and resources to help other Christians who need it, whenever you can, as much as you can. And God will bless you.

II Corinthians‬ ‭9:6‭-‬7‬ ‭- But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. ,, Remember, giving is a heart issue, not a money issue. We are to give/share whatever God gives us- money, time, wisdom, etc.

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. - 2 Corinthians 9:6-9 KJV
How many of us have ever started a garden before? It is common knowledge that if we only sow a few seeds, we might not get the result we hope for. In this Bible passage, Paul was talking about their generosity to support other Christian communities that were in need. However, as important it was and is important for all of us to support missionary activities, both at home and in countries where there are missionaries at work, we should also consider this in light of the parable of the sower. The more we spread the seeds of faith to those around us, the greater will be the harvest of believers.
It is not just the role of the missionaries to spread the Good News that is the Gospel Truth, it is the job of all the baptized. Money is important, that's true, if those who are sent into mission fields will have the resources necessary to help, as those fields are generally in impoverished areas often without clean water, enough food or medical equipment. Jesus Christ knows and reminds us that we have a responsibility to the body as well as to the soul, and that it is difficult for someone to listen when they are hungry or homeless. Paul is asking everyone to give according to one's means and to sow the seeds of faith bountifully. God endows us with faith and asks us to be humble and generous in sharing it. He gives us what we need and asks us to share as we are able. May He also give us a spirit of generosity, so that we can share the Good News of the Gospel worldwide and also provide the means necessary for others to hear it. If even the Son of God was a servant of Father God Almighty, it's vital that we ourselves must also willfully and faithfully consent to love and serve Him and to help all those in need.
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for calling us to Him and to serve Him. May He equip us to do all that He has called us to do so that as He works through us, He may use us to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage all brothers and sisters in Christ. May He work all of these things in us and through us for His Kingdom and His glory. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all His creation, for His miraculous ways and for everything He does and has done for us! Keep the faith and keep moving forward in your walk with Jesus!
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Word and for sending His Holy Spirit so that we might have His grace, not only to awaken us and transform our hearts in our spiritual rebirth and guarantee our eternity with Him, but to also call upon Him whenever we are in need. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all the reminders of His love and mercy and faithfulness within His Holy Word. He is bigger than any challenge or circumstance in our lives. Knowing this within our minds and our hearts, nothing can deter our faith in Him and His Truth. May we all accept Him and His eternal gift of salvation and ask that He would transform our hearts and lives according to His will and ways. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Spirit who saves, seals and leads us. May we always thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His almighty power and saving grace. For He is our strength, and He alone is able to save us, forgive our sins and gift us eternal salvation and entry into His Kingdom of Heaven.
May we make sure that we give our hearts and lives to God and take time to seek and praise Him and share His Truth with the world daily. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Holy Word daily. May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. May we never forget to thank the LORD our God and our Creator and Father in Heaven for all this and everything He does and has done for us! May we never forget who He is, nor forget who we are in Christ and that God is always with us! What a mighty God we serve! What a Savior this is! What a wonderful Lord, God, Savior and King we have in Jesus Christ! What a loving Father we have found in Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
Thanks and glory be to God! Blessed be the name of the LORD! Hallelujah and Amen!

`2 Corinthians 9:6 (KJV) But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
We must always put our best effort forward to complete every project we set out to accomplish, especially when it comes to the task of evangelism. God commissions us to spread His Word across the world so that everyone has the opportunity to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We will diligently sow seeds of faith for the Lord to reap a bounty of believers.
Dear Lord, we surrender our lives entirely to You so we can spread Word to all who will hear. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. ☆

Job 4:8 "According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity And those who sow trouble harvest it.
Hosea 8:7 For they sow the wind And they reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no heads; It yields no grain. Should it yield, strangers would swallow it up.

Proverbs 11:18 The wicked earns deceptive wages, But he who sows righteousness gets a true reward.
Galatians 6:8-10 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. • Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. • So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Proverbs 11:24 There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want.

SUPERCHARGING OUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Matthew 5:9 - "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
As you walk in the love of Christ be willing to walk away from people who are embittered against you. Pray that the Lord will tenderize their heart and fill them with the love of God and move on making yourself available to others you can help with their spiritual walk. Time is valuable and not to be wasted in trying to revive dead relationships. God has people He wants you to meet so you can help them get closer to Jesus.
WE GET UNDERSTANDING ON SOWING SEED AND HARVEST TIME
2 Corinthians 9:6,7 - "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver."
Make an effort to understand the power of sowing and reaping.
Realize that all God has entrusted to us we are the steward of. In that way, all that we have is seed that can be sown into the lives of others.  Money is only one thing that we sow. Our time, prayers, and worship are also seed that is sown.  If we want increase in our life, both in the spirit and in the natural, we need to get the revelation of seedtime and harvest and how it applies to sowing into the spiritual lives of others. Who doesn't want a harvest in their lives?  Who doesn't want to bear fruit that remains for the Kingdom?  But we have to sow in order to reap.
WE ARE ALL COMMANDED TO DO THE WORK OF MINISTRY
John 21:17 - "He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?' Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, 'Do you love Me?' And he said to Him, 'Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.' Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.'"
One of the unique things about the Church of the New Covenant is that God has authorized and commanded every believer to do the work of the ministry, thereby, sowing our time and focus into the lives of others!  God wants an entire army of workers out doing the vital work of DISCIPLESHIP of the saints and building up His Body, the Church.
Many churches are so focused on the salvation message that they fail to feed and help mature the sheep who have already come to salvation. Believers should be equipped to DISCIPLE the new believers so they will be effective in equipping others for personal ministry.
"My children with who I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.." - Galatians 4:19
The true success of our ministry to others will be by how it brought forth the formation of Christ within the person God has given us to DISCIPLE.
