Here’s some positivity for Danganronpa fictives and introjects!

As far as we know, fictives and introjects cannot choose their sources. Just because others may view your source as “cringe” doesn’t mean it is by any means! There are many people out there who will love and accept you for who you are, as you are, even if you’re a Danganronpa fictive (and you can count us among them)!

Whether you feel very connected or very disconnected from your source, your identity as a fictive and a headmate in your system is still valid! You’re allowed to love your source, you’re allowed to gush about it, even (and perhaps especially!) if others think it’s cringe!

It’s okay for your source to be an integral and foundational part of your identity, and it’s okay for your source to be neither of those! It’s okay for Danganronpa to be your special interest or hyperfixation, even if it’s also your source! No one gets to tell you how to live your life, and you deserve to live your authentic self that makes you happy!

No matter how minor or “cringe” the character may seem, how weird or strange the the source may be to others, Danganronpa fictives are still deserving of love and respect! We’re proud of you, we’re rooting for you, and you will always be welcome on this blog and in our spaces!
