12: I’ve got a couple headcanons to share!

Between Soulcaliburs II and III, Amy and Raphael switched the main colors of their outfits: Amy went from wearing green to wearing purple, and Raph went from wearing purple to wearing green. So I like to think this was a result of their fashion senses rubbing off on one another.

Also on the subject of color: Viola and Ivy have the same purplish-silver hair. In Ivy’s case, that’s generally assumed to have been inherited from Cervantes, but my theory is that it’s actually a result of using alchemy, and that Viola’s orb is therefore alchemical in the same way as Ivy’s sword. That would explain why they both wear metal claws on one hand—that’s probably a way to safely handle alchemical materials.

And here’s a bonus headcanon that has more to do with Raph than Amy. We know from Talim’s Soul Chronicle that vampiric monsters are a thing in the Soulcalibur universe, and if you believe the Tekken / Soulcalibur shared universe theory, Eliza proves the existence of traditional vampires. So my theory is that one of Ralph’s ancestors was a vampire, and Souledge activated his latent vampire genes or whatever, which is why his Malfestation is so different from most.

15: I don’t really have any ships for Amy, but once she’s Viola, I ship her with Z.W.E.I.. We don’t see much of their dynamic, but I like the idea of two outcasts who rely on each other when the whole world seems to be against them.

i have to know what your thoughts are on the "amy isnt viola"/"viola is amys sister"/"viola is amys clone"/etc theories. i thought they would have died out by now but there are still people clinging to those theories for dear life

To be honest, I was late to the party on those. That's usually the kind of stuff I have to dig for. I want to say I've read one person bring up the "Amy isn't Viola" theory in a tweet thread from as late as 2019, but... uh, too bad about searching Twitter without an account anymore. I'm not even sure I'm remembering the year on the timestamp correctly.

Anyway, every time I've found fanart or fics that run with any of those theories, they just make me think Yep, that's dated. And typically, they are. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tried to give her Amy's younger traits while she also cut her naturally uncurled hair and wears some other clothes. So she is now a young Viola wondering who she is while being completely lost. i feel like no matter how many times i look at the relationships charts, i will always find something new or my attention will always shift to something that it never did before

first of all, i love the worldbuilding that established the medicis and cervantes as business partners and pits them against vercci LOL

this whole interaction is never expanded upon anywhere, not even in the artbook. we have absolutely no idea who the "mysterious supporter" or who the "unidentified servant" are

and lastly, i have to wonder if them listing viola as having made patroklos her pawn is a remenant of the scrapped story they didnt actually tell us. i can only assume that she maybe wanted to use pat to get close to dumas once she started to suspect that he had something to do with her past but like other than that, i have no idea what this is in reference to
