house is type AB universal recipient and wilson is type O universal donor and this is actually such a crazy characterization point. wilson is the universal donor of love and he thrives off of being needed. he feeds off of people (i.e. house) using him. house thrives off of giving himself away consciously or subconsciously especially in “bothering” wilson because he knows wilson loves to feel needed. house doesn’t know how to receive love so he tries to push everyone (i.e. wilson) away but wilson keeps coming back. now isn’t that the most romantic throwaway line? this show is so genius sometimes.
