Prompt: Hello there. May I get a Sora x reader where the s/o is mad at him and gives him the stubborn silent treatment, For always having to leave and go to different worlds when they need or want him the most, and feels he puts the worlds and his friends above them so they feel sad and angry.

“I’m sorry I have to leave. But I need to save these other worlds, They need me.”

No matter how many time he told you the same line, It still felt like the first time. The overwhelming feeling of neglect and loneliness fills your body more and more with each step he takes towards the door and away from you.

It felt as if whenever you needed him most, when you just wanted to hear his voice calm you or have his arms embrace you in a comforting hug - is when he decided to leave.

You know he can’t control when the heartless decide to attack, he could however just decline for once. You knew he wasn’t the only keyblade wielder. You wished for the brunette to call on one of them for once. Instead with Donald and Goofy by his side - he walked off towards the awaiting gummi ship, not matter how much you plea him to not go.

It always takes you a few days become use to being solo again. Making meals for one just when have gotten use to making for two yet again, rolling over and making contact with the cold, flat surface of the mattress instead of Sora’s warm body.

When you ultimately felt the feeling of sadness overwhelm your mind, the loneliness quickly joins in after you glance around and find nothing but darkness surrounding you.

You wish to see the bedroom light on, walk in and see Sora sitting on the bed inspecting his keyblade - like he’s done so often before. Finally let him comfort you until happiness replaced the dread that once filled you

Sadly, you have no of that.

Instead you sat alone curled up in your bed with a blanket wrapped around your sobbing frame. The sound of your weeps and the clock ticking fills the room as the minutes slowly pass by as you eventually lull yourself to sleep.

As you awake the next morning, you begin to stretch out your tight, cramped up muscles but stop when a noise coming from inside your home stops you. Your movement stops as your listen in to make sure it’s not just the old house settling. You quickly realize it’s not - as a loud bang comes from the kitchen.

Before leaving you grab the nearest object for a weapon and creep out of the room. Halfway down the hall you begin to hear a whispered voice speaking.

“Shh. Please don’t wake up. I really want to surprise you.”

Once the words became clear, so did the voice’s owner. Sora. A sudden jolt of happiness runs through your body at the sight of the brunette. But the memories of last night comes rushing back, replacing all your joy with dread.

Your eyebrows narrow as your drop your impromptu weapon and march towards Sora’s voice. Your footsteps clearly heard as they echo off the empty walls.

As you turn the corner Sora’s head turn towards you. A wide smile quickly spread across his face. The spatula in his hand was dropped on the counter as he rushes towards you. His arms instantly wrap around your frame.

“I’m sorry I woke you. The mission was shorter than we though and I wanted to surprise you with breakfast but I forgot how to make it and then I kept dropping things.”

Rushed words filled your ears. Your first instinct was to glee with joy and return his enthusiasm. Instead you gently remove his arms and silently walk towards the fridge to get yourself some water.

Sora, being the optimistic person he is, brushed off your action as you simply being grumpy from lack of sleep and continued on talking.

“I’m making your favorite. I hope it’s right.” You nodded along while wandering off towards another room. Confused by your dismissal, Sora walked after you. Following behind you as you continue to your favorite chair and have a seat after you pick up the book your currently reading. While you get to the spot you last spot at, Sora continued trying to get you to talk. 

At first he asked you simple question like what you did when he was gone or how your book was going. Though all inquiries resulted in the same as before, nothing.

A loud groan escaped the brunettes lips as he drops to his knees. “Please talk to me! I wanna hear your voice!”

A large part of you wished to join him on the floor and embrace him in a warm, welcoming hug. Yet you stay silent as the plea reached your ears and let him stew in silence for a while longer.

“Just tell me what I did wrong.” His plea came out a whisper, yet you still heard every syllable.

Your eyes close as your lips finally part to loud out an audible sigh, the first noise Sora has heard from you since his return. His head perked up at the sound as  he waits in anticipation.

“You left.”

At first Sora was confused. He couldn’t understand why him leaving would upset you so much. Sure he didn’t expect you to be happy he was leaving you. His brown eyes drifted from the hard wood floors to your frame. Then he understood.

Your blood-shot eyes, the tear stains on your crumpled up nightshirt, how upset and needy you acted the day he told you he was leaving.

“I needed you here with me. You didn’t even let me speak, you just told me goodbye and simply left.” You took a moment to breath and fight back small tears that were creeping up, threat to spill out the corners. The moment he noticed, Sora jumped up and rushed towards you, only to stop when you hold up a hand.

“Sometimes I feel that you put others above me. How many times has Riku or even Yuffie called and you run off to them, leaving me here alone? How many more times will it happ-” “None!”

Your eyes widen when Sora’s voiced boomed over yours.

“I promise I won’t leave you again. I don’t care who asks me I won’t do it. If I need to go to another world, you can come with me. Who cares if Donald gets mad?”

You couldn’t help but smile at his over-exaggerated yet thoughtful promise. You knew no matter what he did, Sora still cared deeply about you - and everyone else in his life.

“Promise me one thing?”

Sora’s question broke you of your thought as he wrapped his arms around your waist. You failed to notice how close he had gotten. You return the contact and hum in curiosity.

“Don’t stop talking to me again.”

We'd both been so excited for it-- to change, to grow stronger, to pass another life-changing milestone on our adventure together. But after I evolved, it took weeks before Sora could even bring herself to look me in the eyes. It went unsaid between us, poisoning our hearts like a cold, bitter curse and haunting every intake of breath. Although, the worst of it all... was that even without words, we both knew why it hurt so much.

Like some sick joke, I had become the spitting image of him.

Ya'll know that feeling when you [Hero] try to evolve into a Leafeon to be closer in spirit to the best friend you lost [Grovyle] because you miss him so much it physically aches, but instead you end up looking like the guy you trusted/adored that betrayed/tried to kill you and your girlfriend? Cause damn it hurts.

Anyways ever since I replayed EOS and evolved at Luminous Spring I've had thoughts about what Sora's reaction would be to Echo's evolution into Umbreon. And lemme tell you that it's an emotional roller coaster. To say that Sora has complicated feelings about Dusknoir is an understatement, and Echo isn't so happy about it either since she had put her faith in him. They've got a lot of trauma to heal.

But to add to that, I like to write about my girls in my spare time when I'm not drawing cause it's fun, so maybe I'll post some little blurbs sometime if anyone is interested?? Hm. Yeah might do that eventually, we'll have to see.

She stresses him out on the daily. She’s always sneaking around, and gets away with the most out of the entire group but he knows. He doesn’t know the specifics of things, but he knows.

He thought it was so funny when he first teased her and she didn’t know what to do. Now, it’s half and half; she’ll get flustered before gathering her bearings and going back even harder at him.

He will roast someone with her. He’s always the first to laugh at her roasts.

She’s always used to taking care of other people so when she first tried it with him, he literally refuses and somehow turns it back on her ?? She doesn't like it at all. (Or so she says)

She gets bad cute aggression with him, sometimes she just wants to squeeze his cheeks and bite him. She’s only done it once and he made fun of her so bad she vowed to never show him skinship, but, well … She can’t help it.

She always catches him staring at her, but he never turns his head away so they just continue staring at one another and doing the absolute most until one gets flustered and looks away.

HEESEUNG

Number one person who never lets her do anything by herself. Always the first to ask where she’s going when she gets up. He’s the first to notice whenever she’s gone. I think he gets separation anxiety from her. Vice versa with her, even though she pretends it doesn’t bother her.

Pays the most attention to her; she never has to ask for it. She likes to make everyone think she’s good, but he was the first to notice. So he always makes sure she’s good before she can even check on anyone else.

She pretends like she hates it when he babies her or is always so attached to her, but they all know the truth.

His biggest hypewoman. Anything he does, she loves and isn’t afraid to show it. She’s literally the mom in Mean Girls with the camera. He’s always asking her for praise, and she’ll 100% give it. On the off-chance she doesn’t and wants to tease him, he acts like he’s crying or that he’s dead from the ‘pain’.

She hates disappointing him, knowing how important she is to him, so it always hurts the most because she knows she did something bad enough for him to be disappointed.

More often than not, some part of his body is touching her. If not, she knows something’s wrong.

JAY

All sorts of logic goes flying out his head when he’s around her. She wants what? Oh, Jay will get it for her. *whip sound* She gets away with the most whenever she’s with Jay. He just can’t say no to her. Who would?

He’s the most logical person she knows, so she always goes to him before making big decisions.

He wants to be the best person he can be for her: the one she can always go to. Someone she will never doubt.

He always knows how to cheer her up. 99% of the time, she’s better within a minute.

Cooking buddies !!! She loves to cook and bake, so they’ll both be in charge of it. He always goes to her first for taste tests and vice versa.

They’re so in sync sometimes it’s scary. They’ll do the exact same thing at the exact same time without realizing it. She has copied most of his mannerisms/habits subconsciously. (With all of them, really, but mostly him)

JAKE

When these two are together … get out the way. He’s always willing to teach her new things, especially since she didn’t get the normal childhood that most people do. He’s also the one who convinces her the most to do the craziest, wildest shit ever.

He taught her to flirt, 100%. ‘Backfired’ on him though because even when she gets flustered, she always somehow says something worse than what he says to her. Double the trouble.

She always goes to him whenever she needs help with her studies, and he loves feeling wanted/needed by her.

She goes to him whenever she needs someone to just listen and understand. And he always does.

The type of besties who can’t stay quiet and are always laughing at the wrong times, especially when they need to be quiet. One look and they’re gone.

They’re always bickering it’s kind of ridiculous. She loves irritating him so she’ll purposely say the wrong thing and he’ll correct her and she’s like, “no, you’re wrong” and they go back and forth like “no” “yes” until another member yells at them to shut up.

SUNGHOON

She genuinely thought he disliked her when they met, and was kind of turned off by it and so she always avoided him until he confronted her out of jealousy of her paying attention to the others more than him. 💀

She’s the one that talks a lot, about the most random shit she can think of, and he’s just there, listening. Doesn’t bother to speak up, but she knows he’s listening.

He teases the crap out of her, always bringing up moments she wishes to never think of again.

Both act like they’re not bothered whenever the other isn’t paying attention to them, but they get so pouty it’s funny that the members always take their attention away just to see their reaction.

He loves to make her work for whatever she wants, even when he knows he’s going to do whatever she wants anyway. He just likes watching her beg.

She would always catch him silently watching her, especially in I-LAND. He’d immediately look away, pretending like he wasn’t. She’d continue to watch him, and a second later, he’d glance back only to make eye contact. She thought his head would detach from how quickly he turned his head away.

SUNOO

They literally think they’re soulmates. There is a picture of her in elementary school on a field trip to the zoo, and Sunoo is in the back of the picture, facing the camera and photo bombing her with a peace sign. It’s literally fate.

Constantly flaunts that he’s her first pick in games and well … anything. Such a smug shit.

Probably the only one who lets her take care of him without complaining.

She’s always fawning over him— she’s not shy to express her admiration over him and neither is he. He is the one she does the most skinship with, even when she “doesn’t like it.”

He’s the one who always gets her into doing TikToks with him, even if she says she doesn’t like being on social media personally. (A lie)

He is the one who brings out the best in her. She seriously doesn’t know what she’d do without him and doesn’t want to know.

She doesn’t like taking selcas, and will normally only post on social media when she’s told to — and if not, she will only willingly do it if Sunoo’s in the picture/taking it/suggested it.

He doesn’t really see her as an older sister figure/role model. He knows she’s always been treated like that and never wants to put that kind of pressure on her again. He’s always reminding her that she’s not even a year older than him, and that it’s okay to be young and childish, too.

When she can’t reach anything, she tries to find anyone but him because he’s the most annoying about it.

He’s always calling her out on her bullshit whenever she tells little white lies on camera or even to the members. He never lets her get away with anything, she swears he’s a menace.

She’s also his biggest hypewoman. She’s seriously in awe that he’s so good at what he does and he’s only eighteen.

They like to spend holidays together when the others are at home, since both of their families aren’t in South Korea and neither can go to them unless it’s a special occasion and they happen to not have any schedules whatsoever.

He’s the only member that really calls her noona, Jungwon doesn’t because she prefers him not to since they’re only really a few months apart. Whenever he wants something, he’ll always go in a sweet voice, “Noona~”

Pairing: Sora / Reader

Summary:

Word Count: 429

Since childhood everyone knew that you and Sora were meant for each other. The two of you had so much in common, always chose each other over something or someone else, even spend all your time together - If you had free time you’d end up spending it together.

Everyone commented on how you would end up together. Once you were old enough to understand that, neither agreed. Always coming up with excuses like ‘their my best friends”, “their not my type.”, or “I like this person instead.”

Somewhere along the way you even joined in on the teasing. “Ya know, someday you’ll fall for me.” You teased. Sora would just laugh in response, which you joined in shortly after. Despite the teasing  both of you still adamantly disagreed with everyone’s comments.

Almost 15 years later, everyone was right.

After a terribly rough fight, you ended up confessing your true feelings for the brunette, who returned the love.

Late one night after you had eaten dinner - you and Sora were sitting on the couch together, reminiscing about childhood. He’d tell you a story you heard a thousand times, yet you laugh as if it’s the first time. You mention a memory of years past, which causes a chain reaction and pretty soon half the night has been spend telling and retelling stories from his adventures, your trips, or a shared childhood. It didn’t take long for all the foreseen words to resurface.

“Remember when everyone said we’d end up together?” Sora quickly started nodding along. “And we kept saying it was never gonna happen.” He finished your thought. “I wonder how they would react?” Sora questioned. You stayed quiet as you think, only to quickly stand up. “My my look how much you grown!“ You say, impersonating an old elder from your childhood. “I see you finally followed my advice, See what happens when you listen to me!” Sora joined in on both the laughter and impersonations.

The laughter slowly dyed down then a silence filled the room. You two stare at each other, enjoyed the old memories - until you spoke up. “I told you that you’d fall in love with me“ Sora loudly groaned at your tease. “You said that once! Plus you fell for me first!” He spoke pointing a finger at you. “Maybe so, but you fell harder.” He rolled his eyes at your observation. “Anyway, I was still right though.” You whispered. Sora chuckled at your words before flopping his arm around your shoulder before leaning in and whispering “I’m glad you were.”
