if you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? what's your favorite thing to do in the summer? and have you read any good books recently? :)

if i could live anywhere in the world, i think i'd love to live in venice. i've been there once and it is truly the most beautiful city i have ever seen. the canals, the old houses, the small pathways, the many bridges, the food...i could go on forever - i was truly enchanted when i was there & i really need to go back! i don't know if i could handle the rather warm weather all year round though but you gotta die one death right?

my favourite thing to do in the summer must be just taking things slow. i feel like, even though it might be considered a more energetic time of the year, everything slows down a bit & you just chill. i especially enjoy the mornings when it's not too warm outside yet, with some coffee & a book (& checking tumblr). just me & the birds.

the most recent new book i've read was "klara and the sun" by kazuo ishiguro. i've read it without expecting anything from it but it surprised me on many different levels actually. i read it in english & thought it was very easy to understand (for someone who is not a native speaker even) & i loved the way the author writes, definitely will read another one of his books. somehow, i got very emotional about it towards the end & it makes you think a lot about modern society.
