“project promise” the ermine, fully colored and cleaned up! they’re the future’s sorta-successful, sorta-incredibly-disastrous answer to the past’s project shadow. infused with mephiles-enhanced hydrokinesis, they’re the perfect combatant against iblis and other fiery foes. don’t be fooled by her cold exterior though, they’re an awkward, self-important loser with a parasocial inferiority complex against a hedgehog from the 1950s, and always seems to be particularly flustered by the sol dimension’s pyrokinetic princess.

after several months of playing around and messing with this model sheet i've finally done it. BEHOLD! MY LITTLE BASTARD OF A SON!!

i've been really shy in regards to posting about him, but........ here we go!!!! meet venus the hedgehog! an alien hybrid ( known as a stargrazer ) that's a top wanted criminal, known for theft and impersonation

more about him down below if you're interested!!!

venus the hedgehog was born to a regular mobian hedgehog and an alien ( disguised as a hedgehog ) hailing from the planet proxima centauri, where a race known as the stargrazers reside; the stargrazers are a highly intelligent and advanced alien species, believed to be an evolved form of or a family directly related to the black arms.

the stargrazers are known across the universe for their advanced technology and soft spoken, collected nature: however, this is merely a coverup, and are just as tyrannical and sinister as their relatives. using their tech and wit, they manipulate those that they have their eyes set on for conquering with false promises of keeping their planet(s) safe.

one such scout was sent to mobius ( or simply sonic's world ) to verify it had the best resources the galaxy had to offer, and begin their mission. however, she fell in love with the planet, rather, and defected. not too long after, she met what would eventually become venus's father.

venus himself had no signs of gaining her stargrazer traits at birth, much to their relief, as they wanted their son to grow up in a regular life as a regular hedgehog. however, as he grew, they began to make their presence known, causing him great distress. despite this, he pushed through, wanting to become some sort of hero, akin to sonic. he wanted to help those around him.

but those around him thought of him very differently. they mocked and hid from him, scared by his ever growing teeth, claws and horns. years of this treatment began to wear venus down to the bone until he, finally, asked his parents what the truth of his blood was, and the truth only served to worsen his mental health.

upon learning of his stargrazer heritage, he ran from home and succumbed to what people view him as: a freak of nature. an otherworldly thing. a walking weapon of destruction. feeling as though he had no other choice but to do so.

( even though he doesn't want to. )

currently, he's considered a "dangerous criminal" by G.U.N. and other officials, and he uses his likenesses to sonic to rope him into trouble, whether that be in cases of theft or destruction of property, etc, hence the stained quills.

he has very little friends or allies, as he considers friendship a "weakness". something that would only slow him down. his only known alliance is with surge and kit, but this only lasted for not even a month.

he won't let anything get in the way of him proving himself to be the better sonic, believing he can best him regardless of his status as a bad guy or not.
