Request: Ciel, Sebastian, Alois, Claude and Ash with an s/o that is worshiped by a cult like a god/goddess since they think of them as the reincarnation of an entity. The people of the cult always follow the s/o, try to do things to please them and even try to go to bed with them.
Tw: Yandere themes, unhealthy mindset, unhealthy relationship, possessiveness, obsessiveness, paranoia, delusions, mentions of kidnapping, death
s/o is worshipped by a cult
Ciel Phantomhive
Tumblr media
☕️Ciel would be majorly annoyed by all of this. He doesn’t take his darling often out due to his possessiveness, only doing it to hold in the people’s eyes the couple image since they’re engaged after all. Not only that, but he hates such fanatic people like that. He knows that there are more things to this world, his butler and the contract in his eye the living proof of this, but this is straightforward ridiculous.
☕️For someone who did unspeakable things himself to have a firm grip on you, Ciel won’t tolerate their behavior, those people even daring to step onto his ground in order to get to you, leaving gifts and presents behind which will be all thrown away by Ciel who’s already short string of patience will surely run thin.
☕️He would definitely talk with you about this since this is pure harassment, those people chasing you everywhere you are and doing about everything to reach you somehow. Ciel would want to know how it all started and if there are things they already did to you. If he didn’t snap already before then he did he heard they even wanted to go to bed and sleep together with you. That’s nothing, but lowly and disgusting in his eyes.
☕️He remembers that many of them said that they would die for you. And they were true after all, Ciel sending his demon butler after all of them to murder them. Because Ciel might be very harsh, but he would never force you into bed with him. He can and will ensure that you’ll never come into contact with those people again, will never be harassed like this again.
Sebastian Michaelis
Tumblr media
🐈‍⬛Sebastian would be somewhat fascinated by all of this. Humans are fascinating indeed, aren’t they? He’s almost amused that his little kitten is seen as a god/goddess by them. Might actually tease them playfully about this at first.
🐈‍⬛However, he would also be very overprotective since I think the people might get a bad feeling about him and try to save their “entity” from him since he’s bad influence for them. And that’s a sure way for them to get on Sebastian’s bad side. To some degree they’re right, he is after all a demon. But that doesn’t change the fact that you’re his mate and there is nothing that is worse than trying to take a demon’s mate away from them. Not only that, but the fact that those people want to do everything for you makes him in a way jealous since he’s the one who wants to take care of you. He firmly believes that he can do about everything better than they can and at one point would scoff at their attempts to please you.
🐈‍⬛Sebastian would quickly find out on his own everything about them the moment they started to become a thorn in his eyes, meaning pretty early. And not gonna lie, he was pretty angry when finding out that those people even tried to get into bed with his darling. No force in heaven or hell would let him ever accept someone except him letting his darling be touched in such a way. Their soul, body and heart belongs all to him, not to mention that this man is smug about the fact that he can pleasure you better than anyone else.
🐈‍⬛Sebastian has an amazing string of patience for you, almost unbreakable. But with other person he’s more than happy to play a game if they should expose to be a threat which is the case in here. Sebastian will get rid of all of them, showing them what he exactly is and most likely mocking them about how they ever thought that they would have a chance with you. You have him after all and he’s all you’ll ever need. Would afterwards comfort you and do everything to make you forget about all the harassment you had to endure. Don’t worry anymore, you have him now.
Alois Trancy
Tumblr media
👅Alois would throw, as the spoiled brat he is, a tantrum when finding out about this. Alois himself treats you like a royalty and if you would really be a god/goddess he would for sure worship the air you’re breathing. But the thing is that he wants to be the only one who gets to worship you like this. No one else deserves it. Other people are scum.
👅This was most likely the reason why he kidnapped his darling in the first place. Because those people were everywhere! Alois rarely had a moment alone with them and we all know that he is an attention seeker, a really bad one too. And this human trash there ruined it all, daring to try to take his darling away from him.
👅Alois would snap pretty early on, not allowing to let anyone near you. Would be very persistent and wanting you to tell him more about them. Say what they did and he’ll make their death as agonizing as possible. And when you finally told him that they even tried to sleep with you? He exploded. How can those lowly bastards dare?! He’ll rip their skin off their bodies!!
👅Normally he let’s Claude do all the work. But if he himself is angered enough, he’ll have his sadistic fun as well. He wants to see them all suffer, wants to show them what happens if someone tries to take you away from him. He’s so much better to take care of you! He’s so much better than all of them! Would torture and slaughter every single one of them and afterwards smother you in affection and love. He’s so sorry for not taking care of this problem sooner, but now you don’t have to worry anymore.
Claude Faustus
Tumblr media
🕷Different from Sebastian, Claude wouldn’t be all that amused since he’s the slightly more jealous demon and the one who has less patience when it comes to other people. It just annoys him that this cult acts so unbelievably pathetic in his eyes. He would also be very overprotective over his darling, seeing that they aren’t all too happy about this.
🕷But similar to Sebastian, the people from the cult might also sense the dark aura around him and try to save you by taking you away. And that’s the worst thing someone could ever do. A demon is ready to destroy whole cities for his beloved mate and for Claude that’s no exception. Not only that, but he’s cocky and confident in his skills. He’s a demon and that means he can do everything better than a human could ever do. You don’t need those people since you have already Claude who can make dreams come true for you. You just have to tell him and he would make it possible.
🕷Claude saw all of this as a problem from the very early start, from the moment he saw those people lingering around and following you everywhere you went. And he has all the power required to find out everything he desires. And he felt majorly pissed off when finding out that those things tried to coax you into letting them go into bed with you. As if he would ever let someone do this to you. He can show you a complete new kind of pleasure the moment you let him and no one could rival this.
🕷Claude is a very sadistic man and for that would surely get a bit lost in the process. He would be amused when seeing the horror in those people’s eyes the moment they get to see what he really is. And he would be oh so cruel and mocking, provoking them. Did they really think that they ever stood a chance against him? They’re only humans after all. You as his little songbird shouldn’t worry that much anymore. He’ll always be there for you, protecting you and keeping you as his.
Ash Landers
Tumblr media
▫️Ash has a somewhat different view on all of this. Because he worships his darling as a god/goddess as well, only more extreme than this cult. And in his eyes everyone else should worship his darling like this as well so in general he wouldn’t be against this concept. However, people should also know that they’re clearly far under you and for that have no right at all to even dare to touch you or follow you anywhere because that leads him to become horrifyingly paranoid.
▫️The fact that they trail behind you, touch you and try to do everything for you makes him crazy. How can they dare?!?! They shouldn’t touch you like this?!?! This was the reason why he took you away because next to his already incredible fear that someone might try to taint you, this only added in the worst ways possible up to this. He thinks that he’s the only creature on this planet who is allowed to serve you since not only his touches aren’t as dirty as his, but he can do everything better as well.
▫️He had an even worse outburst than Alois had when finding out that they sinned the ultimate sin. Trying to sleep with you. Listen, doing that to his darling would lead to Ash crying and wailing since someone managed to this to them. Even the slightest touch is enough for him to go berserk, but what happens if someone would have really done this to his darling...We don’t want to talk about this. He would most likely even punish himself heavily for this since he failed basically as your guardian angel.
▫️The whole cult will get mercilessly wiped out from him the moment he knew that they existed. They all deserve death! Die! Die! Die! He’s a true lunatic when he loses it. Not only that, but he is an angel and for that think that a god/goddess is in better hands with him than a human. Who knows, some people of the cult might think that too. Others on the other hand will experience seconds before their death that angels aren’t all that harmless like it’s always told in stories. Expect him to apologize to his darling countless times afterwards, feeling beyond worthless that he wasn’t earlier there to protect them from those dirty souls.

Average? Darling...
Request: Hi! I saw requests were open so I was wondering if you’d be ok with doing Headcanons with Undertaker and Sebastian with a s/o who doesn’t really think their pretty? Like they don’t think their ugly or anything, just mundane and average so they just think people are being nice and don’t really mean it when they’re told they look pretty? (Sorry this is long, I wanted to make sure I made sense) thanky and I hope you’re doing well amidst the chaos going on!
Title: Average? Darling...
Genre: fluff, mayyyybe a little bit angsty (yay insecurities!) (emphasis on mayyyybe)
Pairing: Undertaker/Sebastian Michaelis x Fem!reader (separate)
Notes: This made me so happy to see. Literally. Anon, thank you for requesting this!
That said, I totally understand this idea and outlook, and I still struggle with thinking of myself in a way that isn’t seen as absolutely hideous or terribly average. I can only escape that through cosplay, and I absolutely hate taking almost an hour or two putting on makeup just to feel drop-dead gorgeous for thirty minutes.
Anyway, you can ignore that little tirade if you want! I tried to make it as realistic as possible (from my experience), so I hope it lives up to what you like. Otherwise, thank you for saying that - I hope you’re doing well, too! (It didn’t come out trippy this time, yES-)
It is also a female reader default, so I apologize if that isn’t what you expected. It seemed to flow better for me personally, so I just rolled with it.
Below the cut!
Tumblr media
Undertaker
surprisingly, out of these two, i find the undertaker would be more inept here
because while both him and sebastian are not human and can barely understand certain human emotions,
one has had more basic observation and interest than the other
that ‘other’ being undertaker
from what i can remember, i can only assume that he would have focused his attention towards his over-the-top plans to screw with the reapers, demons, and angels
but that’s not the whole point right now
to cover how your relationship happened, you would have had to know him for a while
and he probably would have only come to realize that he had feelings for you after he got to know you
so to sum that up: your personality is sexy to him.
that was the first thing that he was attracted to, but your appearance?
that was a bonus
so when you stop and say that you aren’t anywhere near as beautiful as people say, he just tries to get you to admit that you are wrong within a few minutes
“i’m really not as beautiful as they claim, undertaker.”
“dear, that is not a funny ‘joke’.”
“i’m not joking, darling, i’m nowhere near as beautiful as people claim i am.”
he jumps into a tirade
i don’t make the rules, okay? he just does.
and it involves many, many, many instances of your beauty.
your eyes?
they glitter and almost glow in the shadows and light in the most attractive manner.
your hair (or lack thereof)?
simply gorgeous, simply shining - quite beautiful
your figure?
quite fitting for the time, and quite a sight to see when walking.
to him, you are what an angel looks like, and you have the personality of one as well
a total package, if he must say so
but that is about where he would stop.
it doesn’t last long, but it does hold meaning and he refuses to let you believe anything else
but he may only step in and say something when it gets to be too much for you.
those times when your insecurities get the better of you?
he’s already on it, coffin open and ready for you to cuddle with him as he makes grand statements of your beauty
“your beauty truly reaches across centuries, across millenia - a quite haunting beauty if i may say so myself.”
“your eyes perfectly match your complexion, almost glowing against your countenance.”
“and darling, your figure...if i may, i must say that it is truly gorgeous...truly supple. it fits your clothing very well.”
(that last one was a lil bit sensual but hey - it was bound to happen at some point in this)
but every one of these times was very short.
eventually, though, his words started to make sense.
through those short little sessions, they worked somewhat.
i’d like to say that they worked almost immediately
but that is a blatant lie
again, this is undertaker
subtly only matters to him when it is a part of a scheme he has.
so that immediately negates any hint of it becoming extremely common, as that depends on how often you vocalize your thoughts on people’s compliments
but otherwise, they work a little bit.
in a weird way
(again, undertaker.)
but he tries, so make sure that he knows he has made you feel a little better
don’t lie, but don’t hesitate to tell him what you thought of his perspective
he covers it in his own little way, and you both don’t mind it too much. :)
Tumblr media
Sebastian Michaelis
okay so
sebastian found you to be meager at first
but that was because you were shielded by a shadow and he only caught a glimpse of your outfit
when he caught you in full light though?
gorgeous.
he had held a distaste to angels, but you were one that he doubted he could stay away from
and because ciel had gotten tired of watching his butler fawn over you as you two worked together, he straight up demanded that he talk to you
and a butler can’t deny his master’s orders, can he?
from there, he grew to love you more
and though he will admit that he fell in love with your appearance at first, your personality was even more beautiful than you
so you can imagine his surprise when you told him that you were only average
he had caught you looking at yourself in the reflection in the glass of a window, and he became intrigued
was this simply a human thing?
possibly a female quirk, though he may have chalked it up to feminine mannerisms
but when you spotted him and he questioned your actions teasingly, you gave him the answer to his question.
“darling, may i ask why you are gazing at yourself?”
*shock*
“um, well - when you or someone else tells me i’m pretty, i don’t believe it.”
for once, pure and unadulterated shock presented itself on his visage
“dear, i must inquire why.”
“well, i’m not...’gorgeous’ as you claim. i’m simply average, nothing more.”
he had decided then and there to treat you as the sparkling darling that he knows and loves
“well, darling, i beg to differ.”
you and him then sat down and just talked.
unlike undertaker, who i feel would try to make his s/o feel gorgeous from the get-go
sebastian would be the type to get the point across over time
he’s observed humans for centuries, so he has the least amount of understanding
human insecurities cannot be mended within minutes, but rather longer
so he did the best that he could to make you feel better about your beauty
after all, he appreciates art in it’s finest form
and you fit into that category
so after reassuring you that you are just as gorgeous as others see you to be
(”your eyes are the most beautiful (e/c) i’ve ever seen.”)
(”your skin is quite glowing, much like you yourself do.”)
(”your body, too, darling - it’s to die for. just perfect.”)
he makes it a goal that you become completely aware of your beautiful
someone just complimented you and you reluctantly accepted it?
“darling, i promise you that you are gorgeous.”
another person just told you your beauty measures to that of madam red?
(don’t blame me, blame google - i tried to find more information, but this is set in the 1880s, not the 1890s, so gibson girls were barely there and were not yet considered the peak of beauty at the time. and after that mess, i went to see what characters were ranked highest and madam red was the highest ranked female on that list, at 14 i think, as the rest were male. due to that, and the fact that she is a doctor that must be fairly well known, she would be known and ogled - cuz lets face it, she is sinister, but she is also gorgeous.)
(sorry about that, let’s continue)
“they aren’t incorrect, my dear. you do truly glow, much like she does, but your’s is more bright.”
anyone compliments your figure when doing measurements and you tell him?
“as i have said, your figure is truly fair and quite admirable.”
sometimes, even when you were resting at either your’s or ciel’s manor, sebastian would make sure to remind you of your higher beauty
before you were to go to bed?
“dear, sleep well. i would say that you may want your beauty sleep, but you don’t need it when you’re already gorgeous.”
reviewing papers?
“your eyes, my darling - quite beautiful. they truly do sparkle.”
simply reading and resting?
“a beautiful brain and a beautiful appearance - my, my, you really are a gem to view, my love.”
you blushed every time, but the more he did what he did and said what he said
you slowly came to realize that you truly are as beautiful as others say you are.
and though you are aware that there are others out there that may be more beautiful
you now know that your beauty is much more prominent than that of the common female
and your realization made sebastian all the more giddy
(well, as giddy as he could get - remember, demon!)
(and again, that little rant earlier, i-)

Hannamey Headcanons
@bapydemonprincess requested some Hannamey headcanons for an OTP ask meme; my answers are included below!
I'm assuming that we're in a more auspicious version of the Season 2 verse where O!Ciel wins and stays human, although Alois eventually dies and leaves Hannah free to pursue her love in peace.
Pre-relationship
2. What was their first impression of each other?
Mey experienced a full bi panic when she first laid eyes on Hannah in that seductive black dress. The maid didn't recognize her feelings at the time, but she had a crush. Although Hannah didn't show it, the comely young maid caught her eye straightaway. The demonness was quietly amused by how taken Mey Rin was with her; Hannah knows exactly what kind of effect she tends to have on the sapphics >:3. Due to her devilish instincts, she sensed that Mey had a tragic past, and that she'd sent many souls to an early grave (the act of killing tends to "mark" the spirit in ways some demons can perceive), which piqued her curiosity. 4. Who felt romantic feelings first?
Mey Rin! She tends to fall fast and hard in romantic relationships. As a demon, Hannah took longer to acknowledge her growing attraction for the maid as something other than carnal desire. 5. Did either of them try to resist their feelings?
Both of them did, to an extent. Mey Rin was distraught because she knew she shouldn't harbor romantic feelings for someone who served an enemy of young master, while Hannah, after becoming acquainted with the pain of grief through Luka's death, was none too keen on being entangled in an intimate relationship with a human. Love could not be suppressed for long, however... >:3
General
2. Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like?
Sort of. Their first few trysts occurred under the cover of nightfall, in the woods near the Phantomhive manor. That way, Mey Rin wouldn't have to risk a visit to the Trancy estate, and Hannah was sufficiently far away from the grounds to avoid Sebastian detecting her. However, their first proper date took place when the Phantomhive servants went on a trip to London. Mey Rin split off from the rest of the group to have a rendezvous with Hannah at a little cafe. They both started off a bit awkwardly (Mey was a bundle of nerves and Hannah felt uncharacteristically shy), but once the conversation got going, the bubbly, smiling maid of Phantomhive soon drew Hannah out of her shell. The demonness bought Mey a plateful of the tastiest pastries on the menu; of course, Hannah didn't eat or drink anything herself, but dear flustered Mey was too caught up in the moment to notice. When it was time for Mey to rejoin the other servants, Hannah walked her part of the way back, and the two held hands. >w< 3. What was their first kiss like?
Mey Rin bid Hannah goodbye after one of the demon's nocturnal visits, but they both lingered, neither wanting to be the first one to leave the secluded forest spot. Hannah took an indecisive step towards Mey Rin. Then she tenderly cupped the maid's face in her hands, bent down, and kissed her. When they parted, she whispered a simple "Good night" before disappearing among the trees, leaving Mey Rin red-faced and trembling. The maid dreamily stumbled through the next day, grinning and tripping on air. The demonness wore no perfume, but she smelt of petrichor, and a whiff of the earth after it rains never fails to remind Mey Rin of that first kiss. 7. Who takes the lead in social situations?
It depends. Hannah is melancholy, withdrawn, and secretive, while Mey Rin tends to be cheerful and outgoing in environments where she feels secure. However, if Mey Rin is nervous or unsure of herself, Hannah will take the lead in order to spare her lover the anxieties that come with prolonged social interactions. She'll gently pat Mey Rin's back or hold her hand to help the maid stay calm. 8. Who gets jealous easier?
Hannah. Demons jealously guard the souls they hold dear, and are very protective of their mates. If Hannah catches someone trying to make a move on her woman, she'll either wrap an arm around Mey Rin's waist and hold her close, or step between Mey and the (real or imagined) rival...giving them a deadly glare that makes the bravest heart quail. She bares her fangs and lets her demonic essence show, her long hair writhing like Medusa's serpents, until the interloper beats a hasty retreat. However, after a few conversations with Mey Rin on the subject, Hannah learns to calm down a little. 9. Who whispers inappropriate things in the other's ear?
Under normal circumstances, I don't think either of them is given to making crass remarks. Hannah prefers subtle innuendos--double entendres or inside jokes that no one but Mey Rin will understand. She'll smirk knowingly when she catches Mey Rin's longing glances at her cleavage (causing the maid to turn into a blushing, incoherent mess). Mey Rin gets a little bolder when she's tipsy; she'll climb into Hannah's lap and whisper about all the things she hopes the demon will do to her when they're alone. Shortly thereafter, Hannah finds an excuse to leave the party early with her lover so that she can make good on Mey Rin's suggestions. ;)
Love
1. Who said "I love you" first?
Mey Rin! She gave Hannah a small gift (a little embroidery piece of an owl), and when she saw how stunned the Trancy maid was at the gesture, Mey Rin blurted out, "Why do you look so surprised? You know I love you, yes I do!" She was mortified by her outburst and slapped her hands over her mouth, but Hannah just laughed and gave her a warm hug. 2. What are their primary love languages?
physical touch and acts of service, with quality time being a close second. Like most demons, Hannah views language as a tool for manipulation--in her mind, actions speak far louder than words when it comes to revealing a lover's true intentions. And since Mey Rin spent most of her childhood and young adulthood deprived of meaningful connections with others, she craves small intimacies like having the demonness brush her hair or hold her when she needs comforting. 4. How often do they cuddle/engage in PDA?
Very often! They're extremely snuggly in private. Mey loves to sit in Hannah's lap or rest her head against the demon's bosom, and Hannah dotes on her human. They have to be cautious about overt PDA in the Victorian period, but no one will look twice if two very good lady friends stroll arm-in-arm together... 8. Who's better at comforting the other?
Mey Rin is a little better at this because she's naturally warm and empathetic. However, Hannah has a quiet, reassuring presence, and she learns to tell when Mey Rin is feeling sad or vulnerable and needs a little cuddling. 10. Do they prefer verbal or physical affection?
As explained above, physical affection! 12. What kind of nicknames do they call each other?
Hannah calls Mey Rin "beloved," her flower, or her little princess; Mey Rin is initially hesitant to speak so familiarly with an ancient, powerful demon, but she'll sometimes call Hannah "honey," "love," or Chinese terms of endearment.
Domestic Life
1. If they get married, who proposes?
Demons' concepts of mating bonds aren't the same as our ideas about marriage, so it never occurred to Hannah to make a formal proposal. But one day, Mey Rin wistfully confessed that she would love to be Hannah's wife, if society were more open-minded about that sort of thing. The demonness couldn't bear to see her human sad, so she used her powers to make a pretty engagement ring (amethyst set in gold) to give to Mey shortly after this conversation. If they couldn't have an official ceremony, then damn it, they'd make their own. 2. What's the wedding like? Who attends?
It's held in the Phamtomhive garden, among the roses (Sebastian and Hannah reached an uneasy truce after Alois's death), and all the Phantomhive servants attend. The triplets are also there to assist with the ceremony, strewing flower petals, carrying the ladies' wedding trains, and so on (my headcanon is that they're babey demons who serve as Hannah's subordinates). Lizzy, Sieglinde, and Ran Mao are Mey Rin's bridesmaids. Both Mey and Hannah wear beautiful dresses (pink and purple, respectively). Instead of having a religious official preside over the ceremony, the ladies exchange vows that they wrote for each other. 4. Do they have any pets?
Oh yes! Hannah sometimes takes in injured wild animals to nurse back to health, like a fox kit that got its paw stuck in a trap, or a robin that broke its wing, so they soon have a smol menagerie on their hands. 8. How do they celebrate holidays?
Mey Rin loves holidays like Halloween and the Chinese New Year, so Hannah learns about the associated customs and traditions to help her wife celebrate. For events like Halloween, they'll coordinate costumes (one year, they both dressed up as witches), and save up lots of candy to give to the local kids. Hannah uses her demon powers to add spooky touches to their home, like magical floating candles and ghostly shadows that appear in the windows when someone passes by. Mey Rin gets a huge kick out of it! 10. Who's the better cook?
Hannah. When you've existed for millenia, you pick up a few skills here and there, such as navigating your way around a kitchen. ;) She loves spoiling Mey with her favorite treats. 11. Who likes to dance?
They both do, though Hannah is usually the one to ask Mey to join her on the dance floor.

John Brown as the mastermind behind the Blue Sect and the recent sad events?
Disclaimer: Spoilers and long post. As such, this theory will initially be a little chronological to try and make the explanation simpler. If any point is unclear, feel free to ask @thedarkestcrow or me about it as it is something we discussed together. :)
First of all, here’s what we know about the current arc (ch127 happens mid-November 1889):
Bravat (who’s most likely human) knew from the beginning that Ciel is the Watchdog (”Earl Phantomhive”), that Seb is a demon, that Lizzie is Ciel’s fiancée and that the Starlight Four committed crimes at Weston.
Bravat’s sect is at least one and a half year/two years old (ch125). However, seeing as there was no hint of massive blood collects and death before August/September 1889, we’ll assume for this theory that the 4 star lords were put in Bravat’s care at some point during Summer 1889, which is when Bravat started using the S4 to promote the Sphere music hall in order to collect as much blood as possible.
Othello said that, considering the anormal progress of the sect’s technology, a supernatural being is most likely behind it (ch119/ch125). This supernatural mastermind is very probably the reason Bravat knew about Sebastian being a demon (and about Lizzie and Ciel).
While the reason tying Lizzie to the sect is still unclear, we’re going to assume for this theory that Bravat’s mention of her to Ciel (ch123) might mean that she’s seen as a possible hostage to use against him.
Lastly, about the 2CT: it seems like it’s almost confirmed.
Lord Sirius being Ciel’s twin (aka Real!Ciel, a “bizarre doll”) is a popular theory
Agni’s reaction when he found the burnt picture of Ciel’s family (ch126) was quite telling that something was unexpected about this picture.
I hope all of this makes sense for you guys! Onto the theory about John Brown...
1) Going back in time...
...To December 1885, Vincent is killed and his sons are bought by a satanic cult that intends on using them as sacrifices in order to summon a demon. In January 1886, Real!Ciel is sacrificed on the altar and our!Ciel manages to summon Sebastian, selling his soul to him in order to survive and get revenge. He then becomes the new Queen’s Watchdog in March 1886.
Tumblr media
Fastforwarding a bit, ch125 told us that the old Lords whom Bravat used to transfuse regularly should have died more than one and a half year ago, meaning that Bravat’s sect has been at least existing ever since Winter 1887/Spring 1888.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A possible link to Ryan’s Aurora Society or the mysterious Osiris company mentioned during the Campania arc is possible but we don’t have any hint vouching for it yet.
Fastforwarding again, it’s February 1889 and the Circus arc happens, resulting in a messy ending, with Ciel lying to the Queen about his report for this case, not knowing that the Double Charles and John Brown (as well as the Undertaker) witnessed what he truly did.
Tumblr media
As a result, Queen Victoria organizes a grand punishment in March 1889, starring Charles Grey killing an important German lord and trying to have Ciel take the fall for the murder in front of witnesses. This ends rather well though, as Ciel manages to trick Grey and blame someone else for the murder.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In April 1889, it’s the Campania arc, where the Undertaker introduces for the first time his Bizarre Doll project, indirectly mass-murdering many people seemingly without a care in the world. He manages to run away, leaving his chain of lockets to Ciel and with Sebastian concluding the arc on...
Tumblr media
They obviously did run into him again though, in June 1889, when they end up facing ameliorated BDs, because of several murders committed by 4 students (the Starlight 4).  At the end of this arc, Ciel makes his report to Queen Victoria, telling her about the S4′s crimes but also about the Undertaker’s Bizarre Dolls. Strangely enough though, she doesn’t find Ciel’s explanation to be senseless and once he left, this discussion about BDs happens between her and John Brown:

So, Queen Victoria seems to find the idea of having BDs as “allies” to be very fancy. And, as the following arc happening in Germany in August 1889 will show, it seems that Queen Victoria finds that idea to be oh! so very interesting because she’s actually preparing for a war against Germany, which is also why she asks Ciel to bring Sieglinde and her latest deadly invention (the SULIN gas) back to England, so that Sieglinde can invent new war weapons that the Queen will then use against Germany.
At least that was how the clever plan getting Victoria new deadly war weapons was supposed to go.
Because two slight problems arose:
the Undertaker unfortunately doesn’t happen to be Victoria’s greatest fan (most likely because she’s the reason Vincent, and maybe Claudia Phantomhive, ended up dead thanks to the Watchdog duty), so trying to make friends with UT to get the BDs probably wouldn’t work at all.
Ciel unfortunately saw through Victoria’s plan for Sieglinde and the SULIN and he tasked Sebastian with getting rid of the very deadly gas in ch108, double crossing “his master” by doing so.
Unfortunately though, Ciel’s plan kind of backfired at him, since Queen Victoria and John Brown made it rather obvious in ch108 (late August 1889) that they saw through his little game, which means that it’s the second mistake (or act of defiance) that Ciel made as the Watchdog in less than a year, causing Brown/King Albert to...
Tumblr media
...compare him to his very murdered father.
@thedarkestcrow and I (and other readers of course) took this as a rather serious threat against Ciel (something he probably realized as well), perfectly fitting with the theory that the Queen and John Brown might have something to do with the murders of Vincent and Rachel, for a reason that’s still unknown. [x] [x]
In any case, while Victoria saw through Ciel’s little game with the SULIN quite obviously, she doesn’t appear to have punished him (yet?) and anyway, ch114 told us that she was actually visiting Sieglinde often, probably because she hasn’t given up on Sieglinde creating something useful for her war.
Tumblr media
As for her desire to get allies in the form of Bizarre Dolls, if the one who initially had the idea (the Undertaker) can’t be found and convinced to help her, maybe she could ask another supernatural being to make them for her?
One she already knows; one she trusts because he comforts her when she’s sad and missing her husband; one who knows about her war plans and who promised to protect her; one who traveled in record time from England to Germany without riding his horse and without triggering the traps in the forest; one whose eyes are always hidden, hinting that maybe they would give away his true nature should they be seen...
...Or maybe John Brown is making it all a surprise in this arc because he’s very dedicated to her...?
Tumblr media
2) John Brown (and Queen Victoria?) as the mastermind behind this arc
Starting from here, this is all hypothetical, but maybe I should say now that @thedarkestcrow and I started considering that the supernatural mastermind Othello hinted at had to be someone who was not the Undertaker ever since Ciel became targeted in the recent events. For now, it’s unclear whether Soma really was the target of the attack of ch126/127 or if Ciel was, but, even if the target was Soma, it most likely inherently had to do with Ciel.
So, considering the Undertaker’s attachment to the P family, we tend to agree with Sebastian when he once said that the Undertaker “doesn’t seem to want to cause [Ciel] harm”. Besides, so far, the Undertaker’s BD project mostly was based on alterations of cinematic records, so the fact that the 4 Lords (if they’re indeed supposed to be BDs) seemed to be dependent of blood always made us wonder why he’d change his methods now (especially after BD!Algares who was almost perfect).
However, John Brown if he’s the mastermind trying to “make things go according to her majesty’s wishes” (no matter what kind of supernatural being he is), wouldn’t know how UT managed to create his BDs, so maybe that’s why the 4 Lords seem to be different, needing blood when UT’s dolls didn’t.
John Brown could also be behind Bravat’s technology ever since the old Lords started to be transfused at least two years ago, simply because Victoria is preparing for war and as Wolfram put it in ch114...
Tumblr media
So after researching about blood transfusion, Brown used these important old Lords to experiment his blood transfusion technique by the intermediary of Bravat’s sect, thanks to the technology he developed as a supernatural being (that device that Othello was impressed with in ch125).
Tumblr media
Brown as Victoria’s footman and as the supernatural mastermind behind Bravat would also be aware of:
Ciel being the watchdog
Seb being a demon
Lizzie being Ciel’s fiancée
the S4 having committed crimes and making for useful pawns.
Finally, if we’re saying that the blue sect is a cover for Brown researching how to make bizarre doll-like beings that will be used as war weapons, I know it does sound strange (if she is aware of what he is doing) that Queen Victoria deliberately put Ciel on Bravat’s trail.
So, this part is really a wild idea but what if it all was a part of her plan, because no one can know what she and John Brown tried to create using the Sphere music hall as a cover? After all, imagine the scandal if people were to learn that the Queen is indirectly responsible for bleeding to death a part of London, because she’s involved with senseless experiments!
Which is why she asked Ciel to go investigate the Sphere music hall...
Tumblr media
...even giving him the list of these old Lords that were being transfused by Bravat over the last two years...
Tumblr media
...maybe hoping that Bravat purposedly endangering Lizzie by making her join the sect at the same time would be a good way for him to focus on settling this case with as much efficiency as possible?
Settling the case might not be what she’s expecting of him at all... Rather she wants him to get rid of Bravat and his sect, Lizzie used “as a hostage” being what should motivate Ciel to do anything to eliminate the ones who endangered her (and obviously Bravat wouldn’t know that he’s expandable). And it’s not such a crazy bet when we see how Ciel solved most of the other cases given to him.
Of course, if John Brown has his own agenda (or if the Queen doesn’t know that he might be supernatural), it’s possible that the Queen might not have known that Brown was trying to create the “bizarre dolls” that they talked about back in ch84, hence why she put Ciel on the case. That being said, considering how she didn’t seem surprised that things as strange as Bizarre Dolls could exist back in ch84, if Brown is supernatural then she might be aware of it.
3) About the events of ch126/127
A really hypothetical part yet again, just to point out that...
Tumblr media
...Whoever Agni’s killer is, he’s stronger than a normal human because Agni himself was a very good fighter and he almost couldn’t fight back. So, while we’re not 100% sure of who this man is yet (Lord Polaris? maybe John Brown himself?) and same for the gunman, it would make sense to think that they’re linked to the Sphere music hall.
If the two men who attacked Soma and Agni are Lord Polaris and Lord Sirius then, if they’re really supposed to be equivalents of UT’s BDs, maybe the fact they need a lot blood could also have to do with a possible enhancement of their physical capacities. That would explain the strength of Agni’s killer.
Take Finny for example. Do you remember where Finny is from? A German research institute that the Queen had Ciel raid, for the same reason she sent him to Sieglinde’s village. So if Germany had found a way to enhance physical capacities, it’s not impossible for England to have found it as well, especially since it would be very useful for war.
In any case, the fact that Ciel’s house was targeted might have been for a simple reason: maybe it was a way to experiment if the “dolls” (Lord Polaris and Lord Sirius in that case) were following orders correctly as well as how they would manage against a strong fighter like Agni (or maybe even Sebastian). As for why choosing Ciel’s house as the target of the experimental attack... well, maybe this (hurting Soma and killing Agni) is Ciel’s punishment for taking the SULIN away from the Queen... Unless it’s an initiative by Bravat of course, because he’s tired of Ciel trying to stop him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks for reading and sorry that it was so long!
As always, this post could be totally off (the theory about Ciel’s twin wanting revenge still holds, even if I just can’t see UT as the mastermind behind the sect anymore after the events of ch126/127) especially since this theory doesn’t completely explain everything, so please take everything with a grain of salt and feel free to share your thoughts about this theory if you feel like it.
We’ll see if this will go anywhere next month. :)

Ciel's soft snores filled his room as he peacefully slept. Perhaps those he dreams of were an escape from the nightmares of his past. One could  only wonder what sweet nightmares lie within the mind of Ciel Phantomhive.
"It's time to wake up, Lord Phantomhive."
Ciel rubbed his eyes and squinted them open. "What's that? Who's there?" He jumped when Ayani clapped her hands with a smile and got close to him.
"Namaste Chi, good morning."
He stood up on his bed and looked down at her with a glare. "W-why are you in my room?!"
He gasped when he felt a hand grab his arm and pull him down to where he found himself in Prince Soma's arms. "We are going out and about. Show us around town, kid."
Ciel scowled. "Why should I do that?! And don't call me kid! I have a real name, it's Ciel!"
He smiled. "Alright, Ciel." He jumped on the bed and towards the door. "I order you to show me around. Come."
He stopped when you appeared in the doorway and blocked him. "Pardon me, Prince." You smiled. "I am terribly sorry, my master's day is full. I am afraid their is a great deal of work and studying he must attend to." You pulled out your pocket watch and quickly checked the time. "And considering our head butler is out on an Aron for most of the day, I am forced to do twice the work single handedly."
You looked back up at him. "I do hope you understand, Prince Soma."
. . .
Ciel looked up from his sheet music stand as you entered the room. He rose an eyebrow at the long brown skirt that went to the floor, white blouse, green petticoat, red ascot and brown penny loafers you sported. Including your hair that was up in a high ponytail and held back by a red ribbon.
"Why are you dressed like that?"
You tapped his stand and placed a page of sheet music on it. "You will need a tutor while we're here in London. And since Sebastian is temporarily absent, I shall fill that role."
He looked up at you and you tilted your head. "Do you not like my appearance, sir? Would you prefer I change my attire to my uniform?"
"No, it's fine." He looked at your hair. "Your hair is up. That is what I prefer. Have it up instead of down from now on."
You smirked and used your conductor's wand to adjust your glasses. "Of course, if you'd like."
He looked down at the sheet music. "Bach Chaconne in D minor? There's no way I could play something this complex."
You put your wand under his chin and raised it so he would look at you. "I am your tutor, I make the rules. Surely, you have no objections to my teaching methods, do you master? I would simply hate to have to punish you if you were to defy me."
His face went red and he quickly looked back down at the music. This action of his made you smirk. "I am glad you are willing to comply. That will make this much faster." You removed your wand from his chin and rested it in your other hand as he raised his violin to his chin and used his bow to start off on the first notes.
You smiled at the flawless music that filled the room. "Well done. Very nice, my lord." Your smile stayed on your face as you closed your eyes and listened to the music.
Ciel looked over and stopped his playing hen he caught sight of his new 'guests' kneeling and bowing in front of a large statue resembling a large woman sticking her tongue out and holding the severed head of a man. Lau was also there, standing beside them.
You sighed as Ciel put down his violin and walked over to them, also following after him. "What are they doing?"
Lau smiled and looked at the statue. "If I had to guess, I'd say they're praying. Quite an odd idol, though, isn't it?"
You walked up and stared up at it. "It seems to me like the statue of a woman, appearing to be carrying a severed head. She seems to be wearing a necklace of severed heads as well, dancing on a dead man's stomach." You tilted your head. "Hmm, although it does capture the spirit of a scorned woman."
Ayani stopped her bowing to stare back at the three of you. "It depicts one of the sacred idols of Hinduism. She is the goddess, Kali."
Ciel furrowed his brows. "A goddess of India?"
"Kali is the wife of Shiva, she is also the goddess of power." She held up a painting of Kali and what appeared to be a man preparing to fight her. "Here she is again. According to our faith, a demon once foolishly challenged her."
She dropped the photo and showed another of Kali, though she now looked more like a crazed psychopath as she held up said demon's severed head.
"Naturally, she was victorious. However, her destructive urges were not quelled. She gave herself to destruction and carnage."
Ayani dropped the last photo and stared at the both of you with fixated blue eyes. "And then, in order to protect the earth--"
She pointed at the man the statue was standing on. "Her husband, Shiva, threw himself at his wife's feet."
Ciel rose an eyebrow while yours furrowed. "That seems a little rash, doesn't it?"
She looked straight at you. "Treading upon her husband brought Kali back to her senses. And peace was again restored to the world."
She turned back towards the statue, clapped her hands together, and closed her eyes. "The statue shows her story, the goddess Kali walking on her husband, and in her hand, the head of the vile demon that she slaughtered."
Ciel looked briefly back at you. "And there you have it."
You hummed and rubbed your chin. "Hmm. I've never heard of a goddess of such power. I shall have to keep that in mind if I ever go back to India."
His eyes narrowed. "Back?"
You both looked at Soma as he stood up. "Alright, then."
He turned around to look at Ciel with a smile. "We are done praying now." He suddenly grabbed Ciel in a head lock and walked towards the door. "Time to go."
Ciel struggled to get out of his grasp. "I'm too busy to go out! I already told you that!"
You sighed as you followed after them. "Something tells me this will be more difficult than I thought."
. . .
Soma sighed as he rested his chin in his hand and gazed up at you and Ciel as your swords clashed together. "Honestly, when are you going to be done with all this? Yawn. What are you even doing, anyway? You look like an idiot."
"Be quiet! You're distracting!"
You smirked as your feet shuffled forward, and you jabbed at him, but his sword blocked you at the last second.
"Are all the English this short tempered?"
Ciel snarled as he put down his sword. "Time," He sighed, before he looked back at Soma. "You're never going to shut up, are you? If you need attention so badly, why not give fencing a try?" He tossed his sword towards Soma, who stood up and caught it with a sly smile.
"A-ha, then, if I win you will go out on the town with me?"
Ciel looked at you. "Y/N." You tossed him your sword. He caught it and pointed it at Soma. "If you can beat me."
"Good luck, my prince." Ayani smiled at him as she poured a cup of tea.
As they got in position, you walked in between them and raised your hand. "Now, let the fight begin!"
Once the words left your mouth, Soma raced forward while Ciel stayed in his place. He grinned and jabbed his sword towards Ciel's leg, but it was then he realized it bended around it. His eyes widened. "Hey, what the...!"
Ciel smirked. "A strike like that will accomplish nothing for you."
Fear filled his eyes as he struggled to block Ciel. "Wait, this isn't fair! I don't know the rules like you do!"
He smiled. "Hey, a fight is a fight. It's not my fault you don't know." He ran forward, but as his sword neared Soma's stomach...
"Your highness, look out!" Ayani moved in front of him, blocked Ciel's sword with her tea cup and jabbed her fingers into a pressure point in Ciel's arm. Ciel's sword fell to the ground as he fell to his knees.
Ayani's eyes widened. She knelt down to him. "Ah! Sir, I am sorry. When I saw the prince get attacked, my senses took over. Forgive me."
Soma let out a laugh. "You protected your master well, Ayani. So, that is it, kid. Ayani is my servant, an extension of myself." He put his hands on his hips. "Which means this fight goes to me."
Ciel's teeth clenched. "Wait! That's not fair!"
Lau stood up from where he had been sitting and picked up Ciel's sword. "Interesting. Y/N, it looks as if you'll have to avenge your master." He threw it towards you. "Here you go."
You caught it in your right hand as you pulled out your pocket watch with your left. "Goodness. It's already 4 o'clock. Master, if you wish to provoke your guest, do refrain from doing so at a late hour."
Ciel snickered and crossed his arms.
"However..." You closed your pocket watch and tucked it away, before swinging down your sword. "As the Phantomhive maid, I cannot stand idly by as someone harms my master." You walked closer to them. "We are already a full 10 minutes behind schedule now."
Ciel frowned. "The time. That's what you care about."
Soma looked at you with a raised eyebrow. "I am curious about you, amah. Very well, I will allow you to duel." He looked down at Ayani. "Fight her. And in the name of Kali, make sure you do not loose." He offered his sword to her, which she took as she stood up.
Ciel stood up with determination. "Y/N, I order you: Shut the brat's mouth, now!"
You smirked and nodded as you got in fighting position. Soma stood close by to Ayani as she also got into position and you both stared at each other.
"Jo ãjñã."
"As you wish, young master."
. . .
Your swords collided with each other. The sound of metal against metal cut through the air as the seemingly endless battle progressed between the two pros. As one attempted to jab the other, they would simply block and move their footwork.
Your eyes locked on each other's as you both raced forward, both with the same goal of jabbing the other. But as your swords pointed ends neared your eyes, both of your instincts forced your heads to fly back, dodging one another's sword.
A small gasp escaped the audience of three as they watched.
You both jumped back from the end of your swords and once again raced forward. Your eyes looked to the angle her sword was pointed, and as you did a small jump, the tips of your swords collided. However, you were both very determined, and as you moved your foot forward and she applied more pressure...
*snap*
Their eyes widened as metal pieces flew threw the air. You caught one of them and looked at it. "My, how lovely. It seems as though the swords have broken."
"That means it's a draw, isn't it?" Lau spoke.
Soma gave an impressed smile. "That servant of yours is indeed impressive, Ciel."
Ciel had a blank stare. How is it a draw? He was fighting Y/N!
"Ayani is by far, the best fighter in my palace. I have never seen anyone who could keep up with her, before." Soma proudly smiled as Ciel walked over to you.
She was a match for a demon.
He waited for Ayani to walk away, before you knelt down to hear him whisper to you. "What happened? Ayani isn't an ordinary human, is she?" His face fell at the thought of a certain red reaper. "Don't tell me she's another..."
'Deadly efficient butler!'
"No, my lord. She is deadly, but she is human enough."
He looked at her as she spoke with Soma. "But, with as much strength as she has..."
"Indeed. She could effortlessly hang  a man upside down." You watched her. "It would be an easy task."
"Especially someone of her background."
Ciel jumped as you looked beside you to see Sebastian, also kneeling down and very close to your face with a smile.
"Sebastian!" Ciel's eyes narrowed. "When did you get here?"
"Right before your little duel with the bratty prince, my lord."
"You mean to tell me you've been here this whole time?! Why didn't you make yourself known?"
His smile widened as his eyes shifted to you. "Truthfully, sir, I was enjoying the show."
You rose your eyebrows as Ciel rolled his eyes. "Whatever, now what did you find out?"
He put a finger to his lips. "Not now, in the presence of our guests."
Ciel huffed. "Fine." You and Sebastian stood up. "Y/N, let us finish our lessons. Sebastian...get dinner started, and check on those servants while you're at it."
He walked towards the door as you followed.
. . .
You finished tying your high ponytail and pulled it tight as you walked down the hallway. Sebastian had informed you that Ayani had insisted on helping prepare for tonight's meal and he had left her to her work some time ago. He was busy setting up for tonight, so here you were, your long bangs tickling your face as you tied an apron around your waist and walked into the kitchen.
"How is it coming along, Ayani?"
As you stopped in the doorway, you looked around for her, only to freeze once you saw Bard peeling carrots, Finny mashing potatoes, and Mey-Rin carefully placing the silver and dishware for the evening.
Ayani smiled as she stirred the contents of her pot. "Wonderful. With everyone's help, I'm sure it will be delicious."
Your eyes were wide as you held a genuine surprised look on your face. Which was a face you never really expressed before.
. . .
You brought down your butcher's knife as you sliced the fish meat on your chopping board and Ayani stood beside you, rolling out a piece of dough. You glanced up at the servants as they quietly worked, still trying to process the fact they hadn't wrecked anything.
"How did you manage to get this lot to help out? Simply incredible." She smiled to herself. "Everybody is born with his or her own talent. We all have our own paths and duties set out by the gods." She looked at you. "As children of the divine mother, we may only listen and perform our tasks."
You looked at her as she continued rolling the dough. "You seem to be a woman of impeccable character, Ayani."
She kept her eyes on the dough. "Not at all." She stopped rolling. "I am but a student of the gods, indeed. I was a hopeless fool before I met the prince." She looked up at nothing. "I owe Prince Soma more than I could ever hope to repay him."
Flashback...
"I hurt many people. Blasphemed against the gods. Committed crime after crime. And then, the day of my judgement finally came."
Her head was casted down as she walked up the steps towards the noose that awaited it's next victim. Her white hair covered her face as all she wore was a long white skirt and binder around her chest and waist. Once she stepped next to it, the rope was placed under her chin, around her neck, and tightened.
"I was alone and adrift in the world."
The crowd parted as a figure walked through it and stopped to gaze up at the accused woman. "You there! They say you are a woman with the strength of a beast! I am intrigued." The man jumped up onto the stage and walked towards the accused.
He unsheathed his sword and in one slice, cut the rope and her long hair. Her eyes went wide as her hair fell, now it ended at the top of her breasts. He stepped in front of her and outstretched his arms. "The woman you are is dead now. You will be reborn with a new name and a new life!"
"I had abandoned the gods of my homeland. I had forsaken everything."
He rested his sword over his shoulder and turned around to look at her. "Now, you are Ayani."
"He seemed a god to me."
Her eyes were wide as she retold her past. "That day, I saw in him, something divine. To my sinner soul, his radiance was transcendent!" Her teeth clenched.
"Careful, your pot's boiling over." You said in a bored tone as you walked behind her over to the pot.
She moved her head back as you opened the lid an stirred the liquid in the pot. "The Prince Soma is my sovereign and my god." She looked at you. "He took pity on me and gave me new life, so I will protect him with mine. I will do anything I can for my prince. My desire is that all his dreams come true."
You hummed and puckered your lips as you focused on stirring. "Well, if you ask me, the gods are a bunch of good for nothings we should leave behind...." You muttered.
She turned towards you. "Sorry, what was that?"
You looked at her over your shoulder and smirked. "Oh, it was nothing."
. . .
Sebastian walked around the dining table, picking up the finished plates of Ciel, Lau, and Soma as you placed the second course in front of them.
Ciel was frowning at Soma, who sat across from him as you did. "How long do you intend to stay here."
"We will leave when our business is done."
Lau looked at him. "That's right. You said you were searching for someone?"
Ciel looked at Lau as he picked up his knife and fork. "And you--how long are you intending to stay?"
Lau only smiled. "Now, my lord, play nice."
"I am searching for a woman." Soma pulled out the same cartoonish Indian woman drawing you saw before. "This is her."
You cracked an amused smile as he showed it to the table. "Her name is Mina. She was a servant in my palace."
Ciel leaned his head in his hand as he looked at Sebastian. "Well, Sebastian? Do you think you can find her?"
Sebastian leaned over and looked at the drawing. "Even I can't do much with that. But, I'll try."
"So, what is this "Mina" doing here?" Ciel inquired.
"I have known Mina my entire life. She was basically my nurse maid, like your servant, Y/N." He turned the picture around and looked at it. "She was the only person who ever really took care of me. My mother and father barely paid attention to me. It was a lonely life...but I had Mina. She was always there for me. Then, a British nobleman who had his eyes on her, kidnapped her and took her back to England with him."
"In other words, you are here to bring this woman back to India with you?"
"Yes. I will do everything to bring her back."
You looked down once you noticed Ciel had stopped eating and was staring down at his lap. He looked up at you and noticed you were looking, then went back to cutting his food. "Seems like a lot of fuss over a servant."
Soma stood up from his seat. "No, it isn't!" He stormed around to the other side of the table, grabbed Ciel by the shoulders and pulled him out of his seat. "You can't comprehend my despair of being separated from her! You do not understand!"
Ciel looked at you, and you saw something present in his eyes; an emotion you haven't seen since the night of your master's death, then he looked at Soma.
"Yes, I do."
Soma's face fell as Ciel's turned emotionless. "Although, not despair, the loneliness of isolation is something I may know well." He slapped Soma's hands away and pushed him out of his way. "Don't make the mistake that you are the only one here who has lost something. It doesn't matter who you are, your pride makes you believe something like that gives you great despair, than I don't understand it, and I don't care to."
He walked to the door and twisted the knob. "There are some things you can never get back, no matter how hard you struggle." He opened the door, but stopped before walking out. "Perhaps you are too young to understand that, Prince Soma."
Soma looked down as Ciel walked in and closed the door. " 'Too young'? I am old enough to know what I want, and I do not want to be alone anymore."
Ciel kept his head down as his back was against the door.
Flashback...
"Y/N" He whispered.
"Hello, Ciel." You whispered as you rubbed his head.
A devilish grin then came on your face. "Not if I was human, which I am not. I an a demon, Ciel."
His fists curled up into balls. 'Never. No matter how hard you struggle.'
. . .
Soma looked up from the chair he was sitting in as Ciel tossed a deck of cards on the table and sat down. "Good evening, Prince."
He picked up the box and sat back. "Even you should know how to play Old Maid." He slid the cards out and shuffled them. "I have finished all of my work for today, we can play cards until I retire."
Soma rose an eyebrow. "Really?"
"Don't think of it as I am here for your sake. I am bored and I have nothing better to do." He began to place down Soma's cards, until Soma stopped him by holding up his hand.
"Very sorry, I already have plans."
Ciel's jaw fell open as he froze. Soma shrugged his shoulders. "Unlike you, I am a busy man." He stood up. "Come, Ayani. We are going out." Ciel stayed frozen as they left the room.
Soma let out a laugh and looked back at him. "If you don't get proper sleep, you will never grow up, kid. Good night." Ayani bowed her head as she shut the door.
Seconds later, the door opened back up and Lau poked his head in. "Ah, there you are, my lord. I was wondering, may I ask..."
Ciel looked back at him with a vein popping out of his forehead. "What?!" The cards in his grip scrunched up.
. . .
You smiled as you refilled Ciel's tea cup while he and Lau played their game of cards. Ciel looked back at the sound of a door shutting. "So, they're back."
"I have to say, those two seem very suspicious to me." Lau said.
"Yes, they are odd, but I don't see how a recent string of crimes could benefit them. They don't seem to have a grudge over England's colonial rule." He sighed. "Anyway, if they were involved, why would they cross my path without a second thought? That's just begging me to suspect them."
Lau hummed. "Good point, my lord. Maybe they are just looking for someone."
Ciel threw down his cards. "It's too soon to tell. We don't know that for sure." He looked at you as you filled up Lau's cup. "Y/N" You looked up at him as you stopped pouring. "Where is Sebastian?"
You glanced up at the roof. "Oh, he's around here somewhere."
. . .
Sebastian gazed down at the cloaked figure that emerged from the vocational manor, and treaded in the snow through the gates. He smirked. "I was waiting for you to make your move."

a very 1920s au (part v)
Parts 1-4 can be found under the fanfiction tag below! :)
It was January 22nd, 1924 and Sebastian was half out of his mind with boredom. The Phantomhive brat had been clever enough to deprive him of all company (i.e. chess pieces) and while Elizabeth Midford had transferred him into a more comfortable holding cell, there was still little to do. He was denied anything that could be used as a weapon—including silverware for goodness sake; what was he going to do with a butter knife? Stab someone with it? (Though, in retrospect, he did once kill a man with an empty lipstick tube.)
Lying on the hard bunk mattress, Sebastian’s glittering mahogany eyes were fixed on the cement ceiling, mind whirling with thoughts, schemes, and the question of escape. He needed at least three days to send Phantomhive down the wrong path and a few days more to get to Rosewood Clearing. From the limited amount of information he managed to piece together, Rosewood was about two and a half miles away from Phantomhive Manor—it’d been built in 1897 by Vincent Phantomhive as a wedding present for his blushing bride-to-be.
Not that she was ever there all that often, Sebastian snorted, crossing his arms behind his head. This new prison had a small slit window that allowed some sunlight into the cloistered little room and judging by the faint orange-pink rays, it was near sunset.
That was when he heard her footsteps—light and dainty, the faint click of a woman’s shoe…
The brat’s fiancée.
“Miss Elizabeth.” Sebastian acknowledged once she was close enough. He rose out of polite formality and gave her a short bow.
The girl seemed embarrassed. “I’m terribly sorry if I woke you.” She apologized, hands clasped together and golden curls loose. The lady wore a gown of dark blue satin that displayed her snow pale shoulders and exquisite décolletage. A heavy gold pendant hung round her neck.
“Not in the least.” He reassured, eyes meeting hers. “But the caverns of another man’s prison is hardly the place for a lady such as yourself.”
“Oh yes, yes I know.” She took another step forward. “Only…only I—“
“Yes?” He prompted—perhaps a touch too carelessly—and was surprised when he saw a brief hint of steel in her otherwise angelic expression.
“I need to know if what you said was true—if you’re genuinely unable to return to England.”
Sebastian eyed her warily and briefly debated on toying with her but—no. He needed to have a source on Phantomhive and while he doubted that the girl would actually betray her fiancé, it would at least be interesting to try.
“Yes,” he admitted, crossing the few feet of space he had to meet Elizabeth face to face. “Returning to Birmingham would be as good as signing my own death warrant.”
“But Mr. Churchill seems rather insistent on catching you.”
“I don’t doubt it.”
“So would it be out of the realm of possibility for him to send a federal agent across the Atlantic and to America in the hopes of tracking you down?” Her eyes were wide with false innocence and Sebastian felt a mixture of annoyance and grudging respect towards her. The girl certainly used her beauty to her utmost benefit, he’d give her that.
“What a thing to wonder.” Sebastian chuckled, looking the very essence of calm—if not somewhat amused. It was a trademark of his since the early days of his career when he ran cocaine for the London boys. “Why do you ask, Miss Midford?”
“Because it’s not everyday that the Chicago police department comes knocking on our front door. They’re either too scared or too inefficient but now we’ve had three visits in the span of five hours.” She pressed her palms against the prison bars. “Please be straight with me, Mr. Michaelis—would Mr. Churchill send a government agent cross continental in the hopes of capturing you?”
Sebastian liked the earnestness in her eyes—it was one of her greatest strengths—but otherwise chose to ignore it. After all, he was a creature of guile and opportunity and he would not be swayed by a little girl with sweetness in her soul. “Perhaps.” He allowed, half-smile still in place. “The man is rather temperamental—made a terrible ruckus during the war and was relegated to office duty. Shame, really. He would have made one hell of a prime minister.”
“I know about Gallipoli.” She countered icily and Sebastian was mildly impressed by the harsh tremor in her voice. “I know Winston Churchill was willing to open a second front even after the Allies lost millions in the first four months of the war. I know Winston Churchill was willing to sacrifice 50,000 soldiers and betray the trust of his commanders in order to destroy the Ottoman Empire.” She leaned closer. “From what I can tell, Mr. Churchill doesn’t do things by halves and he’s come too far to sink back into obscurity. Can you imagine? One more political blunder like Gallipoli and he can kiss his dreams of becoming prime minister goodbye. How do you think the British public will feel knowing that good Winston Churchill had been consorting with mobsters and murderers?”
“Davenport—“
“He used to be head of the Irish mafia until Churchill made a deal with him. Trade in your mafia gun for a government badge and you escape persecution.”
“My, my—the lady knows her blackmail.” Sebastian’s smile was sharp as he traced Elizabeth’s palm with the tip of his finger.
She shuddered but refused to back down.
“Tell me,” she urged, “are those policemen here because of you?”
Sebastian shrugged, insolent to the last. “It seems that way, Miss Elizabeth.”
“Oh god.” She breathed, pressing one hand to her mouth.
“This is hardly a chapel, my dear.” He taunted lightly. “And I am no priest.”
“Ciel will kill you in twenty seconds if he thinks your presence will compromise his business.”
“Very well then. He’ll simply have two items of contention he needs to clean up.”
Elizabeth frowned. “Two items?”
“Oh yes,” the mobster replied blithely, “the first being my decaying corpse and the second being…well, you already know that.” He winked, sly and insincere.
The girl looked more confused than ever. “What are you talking about, Mr. Michaelis?”
“You’re a clever girl.” He leaned closer, breath ghosting across her cheek. “Figure it out.” Sebastian smirked. “Though I pride myself on notoriety, I hardly think Winston Churchill, admiral and protector, would go to all this trouble just to persecute me at the London courthouse.” He took two steps back, allowing the newly formed evening shadows to wash over him. “You remember the incident that occurred a few months ago? Just days before Christmas, Miss Elizabeth?” His voice turned to cold silk. “The orphanage that burned down, killing all those innocent children?”
“The…fire—it was an accident. Ciel…Ciel got there too late. A murder-suicide.” Her voice was a whisper.
Sebastian chuckled as he prowled the darkness, a demon hunting for his next meal. “Come now my dear, you’re more intelligent than that. A baptism of fire for those kidnapped children—a fire that just so happened to kill the only man who could’ve had your fiancé indicted for treason.”
“Ciel wouldn’t—“
“Oh but he would, my dear.” Sebastian smiled, teeth glinting in the faint moonlight. “He most definitely would.”
“Do you think it was wise, young master?” Tanaka inquired as he polished the silver, movements smooth and sure while his employer read by the fireplace.
Ciel, seated in a high-backed armchair, turned a page. “Do I think what was wise?” His voice was calm—monotone even—but his spine was rigid, his entire posture coiled like a spring.
“To send Miss Elizabeth down there to interrogate him. The man has a talent of planting seeds of doubt in even the most faithful of people.”
“If you think Elizabeth will be swayed by any of his arguments then you’re sorely mistaken.” He closed his book. “She’s strong. The strongest woman I know.”
“Aside from her mother of course.” The old butler chuckled.
Ciel winced. “Yes…Francis Midford is certainly…interesting to say the least.” He paused, almost half in thought. “My future mother-in-law. Thank god she lives in Boston.”
Tanaka laughed before turning around, giving his master a short bow. “I should think so, my lord. But all the same—I worry for Miss Elizabeth.”
“Have you so little faith in her abilities, Tanaka?” Ciel demanded. “She learned from my hand how to interrogate prisoners. I’ve seen her wheedle information out of the devoutest Catholic and most lascivious politician. Sebastian Michaelis will be no different.”
“Oh young master I have complete faith in my lady’s skill and strength, but the child she carries should not bear such a burden.”
“…Child?”
“Indeed, my lord.” Tanaka bowed again. “Your child.”

 “Wow~!”
“Got a knack for that, y’do!”
Snake was currently peeling oranges, with his skills of peeling being fawned over by the cute boy with green eyes, and the red haired girl-Finny and Mey-Rin.
The half demon gained a small blush. “…..I-It’s nothing, really….I used to help my mother make dinner all the time, so this just comes naturally to me….”
Finny smiled at him. “Well, I’m sure she’d be very proud of you~!”
At that, the half Naga paused peeling, before continuing, with a soft look on his face. “Thank you….”
Sebastian internally groaned in disgust, at the mention of the half breed’s mother, before focusing on butchering a fish.
 “Hey, Sebastian. My man.”
The demon’s eyebrow twitched, as Bard whispered to him.
“Takin’ on a guy like that, a fella not one of us knows a thing about…y’sure you know what yer doin’? And didn’t he hurt your leg? Why’re you lettin’ him stay?”
“Regardless of who or what he may be, if the young master has decided to hire him, we must simply obey. Even if I bear a bit of ill will against him, I cannot disobey our master’s wishes.”
■--------------------------------------■
 “Well? How is he doing?”
Ciel sipped his Earl Grey tea, while watching his demon butler limp over to the food cart, a tray of half eaten fish soufflé in his hands.
“I believe it will take some time to train him. I suspect that he is quick to learn though, as he only just recently met his father, and has already begun to master two of the slayer magics his father has.”
“Well, if he isn’t, you would have no problem at all, making him so, as you excel at making someone quick to learn, correct?”
The old crow looked over to his master with an amused looked on his face. “Yes….Is how I would like to reply, but, my teaching abilities are nothing much of which to speak if your dancing skills are anything to go by. You’re horrible with both modern choreography, and dances of old.”
The Earl grumbled at that, and glared at the newspaper he was reading.
The headline read ‘The dead return to life!? The Karnstein hospital makes miracles happen!’
The slate haired boy stared at his butler, who become confused as to why he was doing so.
 “Is something wrong?”
Ciel then looked back to the paper, as he and Sebastian heard a slight commotion, and footsteps running towards the room the two were in. “No, not at all.”
“Wait! No!! You can’t just barge in! You can’t!”
The door slammed open, to reveal a Chinese man, a woman in a quipao, and Mey-Rin.
 “Hi~ there, Lord Earl! I trust you’ve been well~?”
The Earl looked at the man in shock. “Lau?!”
The man-Lau, looked at the boy disappointedly. “I was hoping to help myself to breakfast, but you’ve already eaten…”
“What in blazes are you doing here-“
The slate haired boy was cut off when Lau looked to Sebastian confusedly. “Oh? Didn’t you die the other day?” The demon laughed without humor at that.
“Listen when I’m talking to you!!”
Lau looked back to the angry boy, as the girl he came with-Ran-Mao, threaded her arm through his.
“What business could you possibly have with me at this hour? Surely you didn’t come all this way just for a handout of breakfast?”
□-----------------□
“A hospital that raises the dead? Is that the one mentioned in today’s paper?”
Lau and Ran-Mao were now seated at the table, and had plates of breakfast in front of them. “Yes, that’s it!”
“Sorry, but I haven’t the least interest in the occult-“
“But occult it may not be!”
Ciel jolted in shock. “Come again?”
“Karnstein hospital. They seem to be doing quite a bit of shopping at the black market docks Lord Earl has left in my care.”
The Earl raised an eyebrow. “For drugs?”
“No. People. They’re illegally purchasing slaves from overseas, but the numbers are quite extraordinary. I wouldn’t think for a minute that they could fit all of those people into the hospital.”
“Might they not be disposing of them once they’ve served their purpose?”
Lau placed his fork on his plate, before speaking. “Well, to be frank, I don’t care about those details one way or another, but…
“A hospital like that really shouldn’t be making such headlines in the average citizen’s newspaper, don’t you agree?”
Sebastian looked at the man, his brows furrowed. “So in other words, you mean to say that there is a possibility that they are resurrecting the dead via illegal human experimentation?”
 “Exactly!”
Ciel sighed, and looked at his butler. “If this turns out to be true, it’s a case of the underworld forces meddling with society at large. It’s best to strip roses of their thorns before they cut one’s hands.
"Sebastian, look into it at once. And, while you’re out, get a cane for yourself as well.”
The demon blinked, before smiling, and bowing slightly, his weight distributed mostly to his good leg. “Of course, sir. Leave it to me.”
■------------------------------------------------------------------------------------■
“Bringing the dead back to life…hm? How absurd…”
Ciel looked out of a window in the hallway, and watched Finny and Snake greet the car Lizzie came to the manor in.
He then heard someone running down the hallway to him. “Ciel~! Listen to this! Listen to this!!”
The Earl raised a brow at his fiancé, before she held his hands in hers. “It’s been decided that we’re going on a family trip in April! A three week excursion to New York on a luxury passenger liner, starting on the seventeenth! And! And! Father was wondering if you might like to join us!”
“I think not.” The slate haired boy said this bluntly, making Lizzie let go of his hands, and look at him in confusion. “But it’s a ticket for the maiden voyage of The Campania, said to be the most opulent passenger liner in the world, you know! Why, even mother said Ciel should take some time off once in a while!”
Ciel sighed at the girl. “I truly appreciate the thought, but I’m afraid I can’t absent myself for such a length of time.” Lizzie deflated at that, with her eyes tearing up.
“A place nearby would be all right, I suppose.”
 “Huh?!”
“I can make the time to take a few days’ leave, and accompany you wherever you want to go. So-!” Ciel yelped, startled when his fiancé suddenly hugged him tightly.
 “Anywhere is fine if we’re together~! I’m so happy~!”
The Earl blushed, as the blonde squeezed him. “That ‘anywhere’ causes me the most concern…”
○----------------○
“I’ll buy you lots of souvenirs, okay~!?”
Ciel sighed through his nose, as he watched the car Lizzie was in, drive off, with a soft look on his face.
Before shouting in surprise, as a certain demon butler suddenly popped into his line of sight, giving him a sort of jump scare.
“What is making you grin so?”
“Good God, man! Don’t scare me like that! Moreover, what is that your wearing?! And how the hell did you get to the second floor window with that leg?!”
Sebastian opened the window, and jumped inside.
“As they say, ‘When in Rome, do as the Romans do.’ As for how I got up here….” The demon lifted his bad leg a bit, showing Ciel a sort of mechanized contraption on his leg and foot, most of it hidden by the black haired man’s pant leg.
“What the hell is that, and where did you get it?”
“This is a mechanized device, that hospitals use to help patients paralyzed from the waist down walk again. However…I made a few….’adjustments’ to it myself. It now has a sensor in it, that is able to tell when I want to jump, or run, just by sensing what my good leg is doing.
“When the sensor goes off, it activates a few gears, and a spring, that pushes a metal plate shaped like the bottom of my foot down, and pushes me off the ground, with the help of my right leg.”
The Earl stared at Sebastian. “If you could make contraptions like this, why haven’t you done so before?!”
“Because I didn’t need to.” The slate haired boy’s eye twitched at the man, before they both headed into the Earl’s study. “So, what did you find out, Sebastian?”
Michaelis smiled, and bowed slightly, leaning a bit on his new cane as he did so. “I have discovered some rather intriguing tidbits of information, Young Master.”
□-------------------------□
“I told you to bide your time.”
 “I did.”
“I DIDN’T-……I didn’t mean till nightfall. I meant to wait until you got stronger to go one on one with him.”
Egin jumped, startled when Yuki began to yell. However, he was confused when she cut herself off, and began to speak in a calm, but cracking, voice. “S-Sorry….If……If it makes you feel any better….I did hurt him a bit before he knocked me out…”
The ghoul raised an eyebrow at that, silently asking her half demon friend to elaborate.
“I scarred his cheek with Devil Slayer lightning, and I charged so much lightning into a kick to his left leg, the pain from when you nearly crushed it when he was human came back to bite him in the ass, full force.”
 “Huh?”
“And now his leg is permanently damaged, and he has to use a cane….or some contraption he comes up with.”
The white haired girl blinked at him. “Seriously?”
The snake man nodded, before Yuki’s eyebrow twitched. “And how did your talk with Ciel go?”
“He figured that I knew what happened to the other first stringers.”
 “And…..”
“I told him you saved Joker.”
 “Go on….”
“…….He said that…..Joker and the others kidnapped children at each stop on the tour……is that true, Yuki?”
The blue eyed ghoul sighed sadly. “Unfortunately. I’ll tell you about the reason why when we have more time…Now tell me, what else did you talk about?”
“He asked me who my parents were, and I told him.”
 “In front of The Heathen?”
 “Yes.”
 “What else?”
“Smile said he would help me catch my mother’s murderer.”
Yuki stared at him confusedly. “You didn’t….No…if you did, he’d kill you….Did he threaten you?”
“In a way. He glared at me, after I told Smile that I’ve seen Jack the Ripper’s face. I caved and told Smile that I must’ve mistaken Michaelis for him, that I saw red, and my vision distorted in anger when I saw The Ripper’s face.”
 “Hello, Yukino.”
Egin and the ghoul screamed, and jumped across the room in surprise, when the demon they were speaking about showed up behind them.
 “WHAT THE FUCK, MAN?!”
Sebastian tilted his head in mock confusion. “What? All I did was say hello.”
“NEARLY GIVING ME A FUCKING HEART ATTACK IN THE PROCESS!”
“Oh, really~? I must be getting better at my scare tactics then. Maybe I could practice a bit more on you~?”
At this, Bram the King Cobra, who was wrapped around Yuki’s waist, hissed angrily at the demon.
Michaelis raised an eyebrow at the snake, and chuckled. “Oh, I do apologize, but I’m afraid that I don’t speak snake.”
“He said ‘Fuck you and your fuck ugly face, you lamentably non-intuitive malingering barbaric feces-collecting molester of small furry animals! And while I’m at it, you’re like a dog with two dicks’!”
Multiple tick marks appeared on the black haired man’s head, his eye twitching, as Yuki translated for Bram, while Egin spluttered, and had to restrain his laughter.
The maroon eyes the demon held now glowed red, and his pupils were narrowed into slits, as he growled in anger and annoyance. “Tell me, Snake. Where did you find that Cobra?”
Said half breed coughed, before answering. “I found him near a guarded manor on the outskirts of London. Why?”
“It appears that that snake is one of the vampire’s familiars, and closely takes after him.”
The ghoul blinked at that, before looking at the snake with a smile. “So that’s why he likes me so much….”
Sebastian glared at Yuki, who stared back at him. The white haired girl scanned the demon’s body, and found the scar that Egin had told her about, then looked to the left leg of the crow demon.
It was bent a bit, as the crow was putting most of his weight onto his right leg, and his cane. And there was a sort of contraption device thing that went to the bottom of Michaelis’ foot.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow at her, and smirked teasingly at her. “Like what you see?”
 “Shut your piehole, fuckface.”
The man’s eye, along with the corners of his mouth, twitched in anger and annoyance at that. He was about to say something scathing, when Ciel walked into the room.
 “Ah, good. You’re here.”
The girl raised an eyebrow. “Why is it good that I’m here exactly?”
“I want you and a family member or two of your choosing to come with me on a cruise to New York.”
Yuki stared at the Earl, before turning to leave. “Nope! Not a chance!”
 “Lizzie will be there.”
The ghoul halted, and slowly turned around. “Lizzie will be there?”
“Yes. It’s a three week excursion, so you’ll have plenty of time to spend with her.”
The white haired girl’s eye twitched. “What’s the name of the boat?”
 “It’s called-“
“So this is the Campania, huh~?”
“Whoa, it’s huuuge!” Finny, Bard, Mey-Rin, and Tanaka, looked at the ship in awe, while Ciel only stared at it blankly.
Sebastian limped back over to them, after getting the keys to his, Ciel, and Snake’s suite.
Finny smiled, still looking at the boat. “I’m jealous that Mister Snake gets to go with the Young Master!”
Michaelis looked at the four other servants sternly. “A footman’s duties include accompanying his master on his travels. I am counting on each of you to carefully see to your duties while we are away.”
 The four saluted him. “Yessir!”
“FUCK THIS! I AIN’T GETTIN’ ON THAT DEATH TRAP!”
“It seems that Yukino has arrived, Young Master.” The demon said this without even having to look at the shouting girl to know it was her. Though he was curious to see as to who she brought with her.
He was surprised, to say the least, when he looked over.
“Oh, don’t worry! It’ll be just like the last time we went on a cruise to New York!”
“I DON’T WANT IT TO BE LIKE LAST TIME! LAST TIME ONLY HAD ONE BRIGHTSIDE TO IT!”
 “Oh, come now, Yuki~! Hee Hee~! It’ll be fun~! Hee Hee Hee~!”
“NO IT WON’T-EEEEK!!!” The ghoul screamed, when she saw someone with a giant caged tarantula getting on board the ship. “WHY ARE THEY LETTING SPIDERS ON THE SHIP?!”
“Well, they are letting snakes on it too, so it’s only fair.”
“Hee Hee~! Spiders on a boat~! Spiders on a boat~! HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE~!”
“Please stop that, Adrian, you’re making me even more scared to get on it…” The white haired girl whined weakly, as her step-father pranced away to get the keys for their suite.
Larten sighed at his little sister, before glaring at a few guys who were looking at her with lustful eyes.
 “TenTen?”
 “Hm?”
The ghoul fidgeted, before speaking. “You think the ship has wi-fi on it?”
The orange haired vampire’s eye twitched. “Wi-Fi’s what you’re worried about?”
“Well, I kind of need it to update mama on the situation…..and I also need to write my will before I die.”
At that, the man patted Yuki’s head. “You’re not going to die. Adrian and I will make sure of it.”
 “Quite right, Larten.”
The two siblings looked to see Adrian back from getting the keys. The renegade reaper had pinned the left side of his bangs up, leaving only his left eye visible.
The silver haired man gave them a soft look, as he ruffled their hair.
The white haired ghoul looked at him worriedly. “But what if-“
“Shh…No ‘What ifs.’ I give you my word, that I will make sure of it that you, Larten, Ciel, Lizzie, and Egin, make it out alive.”
The blue eyed girl pouted at the Undertaker, before hugging him. “Then I’ll be the one to make sure you make it out alive. I promise.”
Adrian stared down at Yuki, before a soft smile appeared on his face, as he picked the girl up princess style. “You’re a sweet girl, Yukino.”
The ghoul hid her face in the silver haired man’s neck, her hands clutching his shirt, as he carried her across the gangplank, with Larten, Ciel, Sebastian, and Egin, following behind.
■-------------------------------------------------■
Yuki clung to Egin and Larten’s arms, while Adrian stood off to the side, laughing after hearing what his charge did to Michaelis, as the demon glared at him.
“Continue laughing, and you’ll find that you have been gutted of your innards, Undertaker.”
Ciel sighed, as the mortician continued to laugh, despite the threat from his butler. “Would you two please behave? I don’t want you to start fighting, only to destroy the ship.”
“Sorry, Lord Earl~! Hee Hee Hee Hee~! I just didn’t think that-Hee Hee Hee Hee~! Noxious beasts such as him- Hee Hee Hee Hee Hee~! Were able to be permanently damaged~! Hee Hee Hee Hee Hee Hee Hee~!”
Michaelis’ eye twitched in annoyance. The demon went to say something, before a blonde blur hugged Yuki.
 “Yuki! I didn’t know you were coming~!”
 “Y-You’re squeezing me too tightly….”
The blonde girl wearing a Victorian lolita dress let go of the ghoul then. “Oh! Sorry! I’m just so glad that you’re here!”
Lizzie then looked to Larten, and Adrian, who had finally managed to stop laughing, and smiled at them. “It’s good to see you two again, Larten, Undertaker!”
The orange haired vampire smiled back at the girl, while the renegade reaper grinned. “It’s a pleasure to see you again as well, Lady Elizabeth~! Hee Hee~!”
After having greeted the strange trio of a ghoul, a vampire, and a reaper, Lizzie noticed Ciel, and glomped him, which made Sebastian chuckle.
“I-I had hoped to surprise you.”
“You said you wouldn’t come with us! I’m so very happy!”
“Elizabeth! If you wish to continue cosplaying a girl from the Victorian era, you must stop behaving so indecently in public!”
Lizzie’s mother, a blonde woman, scolded her daughter, as she walked up to them, followed by her son and husband.
“Quite right, Lizzie. Besides…” The son, Edward, then yelled angrily at Ciel, who’s arm was being held by the blonde girl. “I have yet to acknowledge you as my future brother-in-law!! So hurry up and move away from her!”
Lizzie pouted at her older brother. “Really! There you go again, Edward!”
The slate haired Earl felt someone staring at him, and turned his head to see Lizzie’s father glaring. “L-Lord Midford. It has been quite some time since we last met.”
After a moment more of glaring, Lord Midford suddenly squeezed Ciel to him, and nuzzled the boy’s cheek. “It has been far too long, my future son~!! You are adorable as usual~!”
Lady Francis hit her husband’s arm with a folding fan, and scolded him. “Really, my lord! That’s quite enough!!”
After the blonde man let go of Ciel, the Marchioness of Midford glared at Sebastian, Egin, Larten, and Adrian, before pulling out a comb, and quite a few pins from her purse.
Sebastian sweated, while Egin and Larten were confused, and Adrian grinned in amusement.
“Really! What is with Phantomhive servants and associates, and long bangs?! And you two! You should be ashamed of yourselves for dressing in such way in front of ladies!”
Lady Francis reprimanded Larten and Adrian the most, as the orange haired vampire was wearing the style clothes he usually wore when going out with his sister, while the silver haired man wore one of his more casual outfits.
The vampiric Irishman wore a black My Chemical Romance t shirt (he was still sore about the fact that the band had broken up the year before), distressed black jeans, a black biker jacket, and black and red hiking boots.
And the renegade reaper donned a large black sweater he stole from Grell that had ‘Pizza is cheaper than therapy’ printed on it, acid washed and distressed black skinny jeans, black fingerless leather gloves with a bow on the back of them that, again, were stolen from Grell, and black leather Demonia Creeper 306 wedges with a height of nearly six inches.
Yuki snickered at Sebastian, after he and Egin’s hair had been combed back.
Before holding her hand over her mouth, and swallowing bile that had nearly made its way out of her throat.
The ghoul tapped Egin’s arm, making him look at her confusedly, before he realized what was wrong.
After having excused himself and his friend, the snake man led the girl to the nearest women's restroom.
○-----------------------------------------○
 “I hate boats…..”
Yuki had finished retching a while later, with her hair being tied in a ponytail, and her bangs pinned back by Egin, who was smiling softly at her as he wiped her face with a wet towel.
The snake man helped the ghoul up, after having put the towel back where he found it, and opened the restroom door for her, before taking her hand in his, and leading her to where the others were, as they had gone to sit at two tables pushed together in a restaurant area.
 “Are you alright, young lady?”
 “Hm?”
Yuki blinked confusedly at Lady Francis, who had come to stand in front of them, her eyes showing concern. “You were in the restroom for quite some time.”
“Oh, I’m fine, milady. I just have motion sickness that’s the worst on boats.”
The blonde woman’s eyes widened in realization. “I see. Aren’t there medicines to help with that?”
The ghoul smiled sheepishly at the Marchioness. “There are, but I forgot to take some before we left, and I forgot to take some with me as well, so I’m just going to have to settle for having to vomit once every few hours.”
“Oh, you poor girl. If I had some, I’d give it to you, but I don’t. I’m terribly sorry.”
The white haired girl gave the woman a small smile. “I appreciate it, Lady Midford.”
Yuki then went to sit with Adrian and Larten, while Lady Francis stayed with Egin to comb his hair back again, as it had somehow gotten messy while he was worrying over the ghoul.
As the blue eyed girl sat next to Adrian, she looked at him, as his hair was now in a fancy bun with most of his bangs pinned and french braided to the sides of his head.
The Marchioness of Midford had apparently given up on trying to tame his wild bangs when she was actually almost done, as some of his bangs hung over the sides of his face.
Larten, whose long sideburns were pinned behind his ears, with his bangs pinned to a few spots on the top of his head, looked at his little sister with concern. “Are you alright, Yuki?”
 “I’m fine, TenTen.”
He raised an eyebrow, before sighing, and going back to talking with Lord Midford.
It was then Adrian’s turn to question her. “You didn’t bring your travel sickness pills, did you?”
 The ghoul’s eye twitched. “No.”
The renegade reaper then grinned. “That’s fine~! Because I brought them with me~! Hee Hee~!”
Yuki blinked at the silver haired man, before smiling at him. “Thank you! How did you figure I’d forget them though?”
“You always forget something. That, and your mother insisted you take them so you don’t suddenly vomit at the wrong time.” The white haired girl hugged the Undertaker’s arm, as she couldn’t hug his torso, otherwise she’d fall off her chair. The man patted her head gently, while smiling softly at her.
“So we’ll get to be together for three whole weeks?”
 “Yes, that’s right.”
Lizzie was excited, as she would be able to spend more time than she ever has before with her fiancé and her best friend. “This will be our first time being together for so long! You must escort me to the dinner parties, Ciel!
“….Though of course if you’re too busy, I wouldn’t mind at all to be escorted to them by Yuki~!”
Said ghoul blushed at that, and stuttered, while Ciel stammered angrily. “I-I’m not so busy that I wouldn’t be able to take you! I will be the one to escort you, of course!”
Adrian chuckled at his step-daughter and the Earl’s reactions.
The blonde girl next to said Earl smiled at that. “Yay~! I’m so glad~! Though I would still like for Yuki to escort me to one…”
“I-I could, but I don’t think I’d be able to eat much of anything, seeing as whatever I eat could possibly come back up later…”
At that, Lizzie stood, and walked behind the younger girl, to hug her gently. “Wonderful~!”
Ciel, along with Edward, were confused as to why Lizzie wanted the other girl to escort her.
Sebastian, seeing his master’s confusion, chuckled. “I believe Lady Elizabeth may not be ‘straight’, young master.” The Earl’s eye twitched.
The blonde girl then gasped, seemingly remembering something, before pulling two wrapped decently sized gift boxes out of her pink messenger bag, that had a cute chibi bat with a red heart in front of it, and a banner with the word ‘Hellsing’ on it, embroidered into the middle of the flap, while the ‘Cirque du Freak’ logo was embroidered into the top left corner of the flap.
“Here you are, Yuki. I apologize for not being able to celebrate your birthday with you two days ago. I had a prior engagement that I couldn’t get out of.”
The ghoul smiled at the older girl, as she took the two boxes. “It’s fine, Lizzie….May I open these?”
“After I get my phone out! Now, where is-Ah! Here it is! Alright! Go ahead!”
At that, Yuki immediately tore into the wrapping paper, before trying to tear into the first box. She was struggling a bit, as Lizzie had accidentally went overboard with how much tape she used.
Sebastian chuckled at the ghoul, and Adrian laughed at her, making the white haired girl glare at both of them.
“Do you need some help, Lady Eusford?”
“Shut your piehole! I don’t need your help, Michaelis!”
The demon’s eye twitched in annoyance at that.
Adrian chuckled, before getting out a letter opener that looked like a miniature Halloween Town Keyblade, and handing it to Yuki.
Who took it eagerly, and stabbed it into the very middle of the box, then gave it back to the reaper, before tearing the lid of the box apart from the hole she made.
The ghoul then pushed aside the black tissue paper (she was confused, as she had never seen black tissue paper before), to see the last five volumes of Hellsing, the complete first season of Death Note, and orange lensed sunglasses that looked almost just like a certain Vampire King’s.
The white haired girl smiled. “Thank you Lizzie!”
“Don’t thank me yet! There’s still more! Now open the next one!”
 “There’s more than these two?!”
“Yep! The third and last one was too big to put in my bag, and it was too heavy for us to carry, so it’s being brought here by a few men, and should be here in a few minutes! Now go on! Open the box!”
Yuki quickly did as told, and excitedly ripped into the wrapping paper, and used a claw to cut the tape on the medium…..Hopkins Tailors box.
When the ghoul opened it, she found a large brimmed, floppy, red fedora with a brown leather strap fastened around the hat, on top of a white long sleeved dress shirt, with a crimson cravat, a black suit jacket, black slacks, a red duster, dark brown boots, and…..a proplica 454. Casull, along with a proplica Jackal.
The girl stared at the contents of the box, before a large grin broke put on her face. “Lizzie?”
 “Yes?”
“Have I ever told you how awesome you are?”
The blonde girl blushed at that. “You have, many times. You like it?”
 “I love it~!”
“I’m glad that you do~! Ah! Here comes your third and final present!”
At that, Yuki, and everyone at the table(s), looked to the entrance of the restaurant, to see six men carrying in a large, rectangular, crate.
The ghoul blinked at it, confused as to what it was. Everyone else, except Adrian, was confused as well.
 “Lizzie?”
 “Yes, Ciel dear~?”
 “What is that?”
“You’ll have to wait and see!”
Ciel stared at the crate nervously, hoping it wasn’t a cannon.
Lizzie has done, and will do, absolutely anything Yuki wants. Be it have weapons made, buy a book store, or any other store out of anything the ghoul wants, and, probably would do much worse if it was what Yuki wanted, or what Lizzie thought she wanted.
Yuki has been said to have her cousin’s unusually extraordinary charisma. Ciel would say that that would be true, if you went by how Lizzie was with the white haired girl, and by how easily Yuki could convince people sometimes.
Please don’t be a cannon. Please don’t be a cannon. Please don’t be a cannon. Please don’t be a can-
The Earl’s thoughts were interrupted by an excited shriek from the ghoul, as she had used a crowbar to open the crate.
Inside the crate, was a large, black, wooden coffin, with purple trim on the sides, and crimson lilies engraved on the top, had a quilted square pattern on the lid, and the words ‘The question, do fairies have tails or not? Or even the more basic one: Do fairies exist…? It’s an eternal mystery, and an eternal adventure. That is why we are Fairy Tail.’ engraved on the lid, with the Fairy Tail guild mark under the words.
Yuki stared at it with tears in her eyes, making Lizzie worry that she didn’t like it.
“Ah! Don’t cry! I’ll take it back and get something better for you, alright?”
The ghoul shook her head, before hugging the older girl. “I-I love it, Lizzie…Thank you….You….You have my word as a member of Fairy Tail, that I will cherish it forever.”
After that sentence, the white haired girl began to sob in Lizzie’s shoulder, with tears of happiness streaming down her cheeks.
The blonde girl blinked, before smiling, and hugging the younger girl back. “You’re very welcome, Yukino~! ♡”
Adrian grinned, as he watched his step-daughter. The renegade reaper was the one that made the coffin for her. It was just one Miss Lady Elizabeth Midford who commissioned it.
When the blonde girl had commissioned it, the silver haired man immediately realized who the coffin had been for, and cursed his self, for not coming up with the idea himself.
Lady Francis’s eye twitched. “Elizabeth, why did you get her a coffin? She won’t be needing it yet…”
The Marchioness’ daughter looked at her mother, while running her hand through Yuki’s hair soothingly. “I know that she won't be needing it yet, but, I figured that since she likes to sleep in her uncle’s coffin so much, why not get her, her own?”
The blonde woman, and her son, paled, while Lord Midford smiled at his daughter. “How very thoughtful of you, Elizabeth! And to get her one engraved with words meaning so much to her, yet!”
The Marchioness quickly turned to her husband confusedly. “Why are you commending her?! And why aren’t you saying anything about Miss Eusford sleeping with a corpse?!”
“While their uncle is very much dead, he is not a corpse. He’s more like ‘the living dead,’ than a corpse that does nothing but lie still in it’s coffin, decaying over the years.”
“Pardon my french, but what the bloody hell does that mean?!”
The blonde man gestured to the orange haired man beside him. “Larten here told me that most of their family is made up of vampires, their uncle, and himself, included.”
The Marquess of Midford’s wife’s eye twitched at that. “So…You’re telling me that he's a vampire?”
“That is what I said, isn’t it?”
“But he looks to be in his early twenties!”
“Well, we vampires are known for not aging physically, as we are technically immortal.”
 “Then how old are you?!”
“Two hundred twenty four as of March seventeenth.”
Lady Francis and Edward gaped at that, making Adrian smirk. “If you think Larten’s old, him and Yuki’s other step-father is over two thousand years old~! Hee Hee~!”
 “HUH?!”
While all that was going on, Yuki had stopped crying, and was now only sniffling. “I-I’m sorry about ruining your dress, Lizzie…”
Lizzie waved it off. “Oh, no! Don’t worry about it! I can just go change later! But, for now, we need to show these men to your suite!”
The ghoul nodded at that, and led the way to her, Adrian, and Larten’s suite, with the blonde girl, and the men, who were carrying her coffin, following behind.
■------------------------------------------------------------■
 “Whad awe you doing, Adwian?”
 “Shh.”
Yuki whined, as Adrian was currently pinching her cheeks, and pulling them, with an intense look on his face.
He had undone the fancy french braided bun hair do Lady Francis had given him, and had pinned his bangs to the sides of his head with Nightmare before Christmas barrettes.
 “Adwian….”
 “Hush. I’m thinking.”
“Why does thinking involve pinching my cheeks?”
 “Hush.”
The ghoul’s eyebrow twitched, as the silver haired man continued ‘thinking.’
A short time later, the Undertaker let go of the girl’s cheeks, and hugged her tightly.
 “Adrian?”
“I won’t let him hurt you, your mother, Larten, or Ciel. I promise.”
The ghoul blinked in confusion, as the mortician tangled his fingers into her hair, and gently pushed her head to his shoulder, before lying his head atop hers. “Adrian? What’s wrong?”
“Hmm…..It’s nothing, dearest. Just the musings of an old man.”
Yuki sighed, knowing that he wouldn’t tell her, most likely fearing he’d make her even more anxious than she already was, if he did.
 “I love you, Yuki.”
The ghoul’s eyes widened in surprise at that, before they softened, and she smiled into his shoulder, then hugged him back. “I love you too, Adrian~”
At that, her step-father kissed the top of her head, before scooting to the other side of the bed, lying down before pulling the covers over himself and his step-daughter, then snuggling with her, as they both fell asleep.
