soccer dad!miguel who despises that shithead #10 for being too rough with his precious baby girl on the field. He can't wait until Gabi's old enough for the all girl's team, but until then, Miguel would have to cope with watching the boys on the opposition get away with completely barreling through his little angel.
soccer dad!miguel who yells over all the soccer moms on the sideline, making sure his booming praise reaches Gabriela and his childishly cruel berating throws off whoever's trying to tackle her as she dribbles the ball up the field.
soccer dad!miguel who loses his absolute shit when Gabi is elbowed to the ground by that #10 kid. His fatherly instincts consume him and without thinking, he storms onto the field cursing at the ref and yelling all sorts of profanities in both Spanish and English. His veins bulge in his biceps and head as he rushes over to console Gabriela, but he swallows his outrage momentarily to crouch down on the grass.
soccer dad!miguel who carries himself with such tenderness when checking to make sure his daughter isn't injured, sighing heavily with relief when he's met with a reassuring smile from the mildly frazzled little girl. That soft demeanour completely transforms into pure protectiveness and anger as he stands up and turns to glare at #10, his tall, tan, muscular body towering over the little boy.
"¿Qué demonios fue eso? Just because you want to win doesn’t mean you have to push and shove. That kind of behaviour is for losers. Weren’t you raised to treat girls with respect?" He scolds, his voice dripping with judgement as his sharp red eyes bore into the poor kid.
soccer dad!miguel who can't help but scoff, unimpressed, when the little boy starts crying, his stature and harsh words obviously scaring the kid as he sniffles and looks back and forth between Gabriela and Miguel apologetically, but he's unable to find his words in the presence of such an intimidating grown up. Miguel’s attention shifts to the young woman rushing onto the field towards #10, a scowl on his face.
“Watch your mouth, asshole. He’s just a kid playing a game, it’s not like he was trying to hurt her!” You yell at the tall, stoic man. You reach out to comfort the little boy, wiping away his tears.
soccer dad!miguel who hasn’t seen such a beautiful girl in his entire life. His ex-wife was okay, but their relationship turned nasty, all remnants of feelings completely soiled by her tendency to lie and cheat. He finds himself checking you out, sharp red eyes lingering on your curves before he feels Gabi hugging his leg and he’s immediately snapped back into his state of disdain and rage.
“Your kid has been roughing my daughter up the whole damn day. Doesn’t seem like a fun game to me.” Miguel counters, patting Gabriela’s head as he glares at you.
“For starters, he’s not my kid. And also, she’s not even hurt! I’ll admit, it wasn’t a clean tackle, but you’re overreacting and you’re making an innocent kid cry.” You scoff, finding this grown man’s behaviour unbelievable as your nephew cowers behind your leg, leaving you and Miguel staring each other down.
soccer dad!miguel who’s aware that he can be a bit overprotective of Gabriela at times, and begrudgingly decides to back down. Especially when you’re looking at him with those beautiful eyes. He’d let this random woman do anything to him as long as she’s looking at him with those eyes.
“Shit… look, I may have come off more aggressive than I intended. I didn’t mean to scare your…?” Miguel begins, shrugging his shoulders as he looks down at Gabi and then back up at you.
“Nephew.”
“Your nephew. He just needs to watch out not to do any damage to the other players, especially the girls.” Miguel says softly, trying to be the bigger person for Gabriela’s sake (and also because he wants to distract himself from how hot it was when you told him off)
soccer dad!miguel who forgets about being nice and friendly when you shrug him off with a frustrated “whatever” and walk off hand-in-hand with your nephew. That’s when he looks around in confusion to see that the game had ended and everyone had left the field. Miguel picks Gabi up and kisses the side of her head, although he's still seething at how that #10 got off unscathed and you didn't even attempt to acknowledge his attempts at an apology for losing his cool. He spends the entire afternoon silently dreading the next time the two teams have a game together, because he'll have to endure the sight of that little shit and his aunty with the fat ass.

Ever since you and Miguel became first time parents, the initial panicky state you both lived in were slowly but surely easing as Gabriella turned bigger and healthier.
If she was crying out of nowhere? Doctor. Her poop wasn't the right color? Doctor. She refusing her baby formula? Doctor.
You had certainly ran to the hospital the first time Gabriella cried so hard she forgot to breathe, teary eyed and panicky, Miguel had to fly from his work to go to the hospital to meet you, only to be meekly reprimanded by the doctor that at this point seemed to know you both.
"She's fine. It's a completely normal thing they do, they just forget how to breathe for a moment. She's fine."
The pediatrician had told you, You both were just happy that little Gabi was fine and that it was all a scare.
------
His thoughts couldn't help but wander towards you and Gabi. We're you fine? Was everything fine? You hadn't called, which divided his thoughts in 'is she okay?' and 'She's gonna be fine."
It was rare when you didn't call him to report the current status of your adoring little girl, that loved to sleep in his broad chest as he caressed her hair. Gabriella was a Papa's girl through and through.
If she was particularly fussy, Miguel would be the one that would pick her up and rock her to sleep as you prepared her bottle.
Hours passed and still no signs from you. Another hour passed and it was enough. It had been his extra work that put him on edge.
These extra hours had surely been squeezing any chance to go home faster and help you with his part of the parenthood.
Once he was done, he clocked out and ran through the streets to get home.
He called your name, desperation mixed with fear as he came close to appreciate the scene before him. Curled in the rocking chair were you, combing Gabi's soft, wavy and ravenous strands, sang to her a little nursery rhyme song.
You made one of your hands to made a 'shh' noise, everytime he moved in closer.
Gabi had lost the little battle against sleepiness a while ago. Miguel picked her up and kissed her forehead, earning a photo-worthy pose of Gabi and himself.
"Thanks Papa" You smiled as he went to Gabi's room. He had been concerned when his phone had remained quiet the whole day, and even worst when little Gabi had been 'recovering' from that scary episode.
But seeing her all quiet, peaceful and certainly deep in sleep soothed his nerves so comfortingly and it also grounded him. He couldn't fear forever, neither you and him could.
"We are." He nodded, relieved with a small smile.
Sighing, he went back to you and wrapped his generous arms around you, a kiss on your temple.
"Why didn't you called me?"
"Gabi was asleep and quite entertained the whole day with a pair of munching toys, I forgot to call you. Sorry"
"It's fine. We can't fear forever."
You nodded and caressed his arms
"I know. It's scary, but I think we're doing a pretty good job."
Another kiss and a smooth caress on your skin.
"We certainly are."

soccer dad!miguel who groans at the compromise he's been offered by the club manager. There's no way this was happening.
"I'm sorry, Mr O'Hara, but it's either the two of you organise a reconciliation meeting and remedy your behaviour towards one another, or you're both banned from attending the under 9's Division A league for the remainder of the season." The manager sighs, looking over at your scowling face, before looking back up at Miguel.
By 'reconciliation meeting', the bastard meant a playdate between Gabriela and Tony. And after the dig you took at his failed marriage, and the mistake he made of calling you a slut, Miguel was not fond of forgiving and forgetting just yet. Sure, the idea of having you in his apartment made his dick swell, but it also made his heart pound with dread.
soccer dad!miguel who glances down at Gabriela and frowns. The little girl clings to his leg and sniffles at the idea of her dad, her hero, not coming to her games anymore. Seeing Gabi, who's usually so fierce and self-assured, on the verge of tears over childish bickering with the opposition puts the situation into perspective. The whole reason he got into an argument with you in the first place was for Gabriela's sake. Being there to support his daughter means more than his ego.
In the end, you and Miguel both agree to the prospect of a playdate, although all four of you are wary of what's to come.
soccer dad!miguel who curses under his breath as he holds Gabi's hand and they walk back to the car, his heavy stomps amusing Gabriela to an extent as she giggles at the squelching sound of the muddy grass beneath her dad's clunky shoes. She's nervous about having her nemesis on the pitch at her home tomorrow, so she distracts herself in the familiarity of her dad's petty pout and grouchy, slumped shoulders.
"Aren't you excited to have a new friend, Papa?" Gabriela asks softly, her hand wrapped around Miguel's thick pinky as she tries to keep up with her dad's long strides towards the carpark. "You've been kind of... lonely... since mama left. Maybe this'll be fun for you."
Gabriela is so intelligent for her age, sometimes it scares Miguel with how much of the situation with her mom she could actually comprehend. He doesn't know whether to be proud of his insightful little girl, or ashamed that she's had to learn about such grown-up things so early in life. Perhaps this playdate has come at just the right time. Miguel and Gabriela both need some friends other than each other in this awkward time.
soccer dad!miguel who tries to keep Gabi entertained for the rest of the day so that neither of them dwell on what's to come tomorrow.
Once she's showered and comfortable after her game and the hectic events following it, she and Miguel lounge around on the couch, watching their favourite telenovela together and yelling at the TV screen in unison, giggling and gasping as they eat whatever fruit is left over from Gabi's halftime snack.
soccer dad!miguel who eventually puts Gabreila to bed after their chaotic day. He crouches next to Gabriela's bed, his tall, tan, muscular frame comically towering over the princess-themed bedspread Gabi's smiling face is peeking out of.
He sings to his daughter, his voice low and soothing as he casually straightens a few of the posters of Gabi's favourite footballers hanging up on her wall. Gabriela's eyes begin to flutter, the comforting presence of her dad easing her into a state of relaxation as she whispers to him, cutting off Miguel's lullaby.
"Papa, what if the boy is mean to me tomorrow? I don't wanna mess things up for you." Gabi says worriedly, not wanting to burden Miguel just in case tomorrow's playdate isn't successful and she and Tony remain rough and mean towards one another, like they are on the field.
The thought of that idiot kid being cruel to Gabriela in his own home makes Miguel suck in a sharp breath, but he remains composed and calm as he speaks quietly, a slight smile on his face. "No te preocupes por eso, mija. You matter more to me than anything else. If the kid even tries to bully you, I'll kick his ass."
Gabriela giggles, and Miguel kisses her cheek and watches over his precious angel until she falls into a deep sleep.
soccer dad!miguel who tosses and turns all night, unable to fall asleep. The images in his mind stem from a place of abandonment and loneliness. He shouldn't be this desperate for a big, happy family, but the thought of him, Gabriela, and you together makes his brain fuzzy. He yearns for that emotional connection between him and a motherly figure towards Gabi, his ex leaving him needy for a truly happy family, one without lying and selfishness, The way you care for Tony... he knows you'd treat Gabriela so well.
And he knows you'd treat him so well, too. Miguel's thoughts drift away from what a good mom and life partner you would be as he drifts off into a hazy state of unconscious lust as he dreams of you.
In the morning, Miguel wakes up in a cold sweat, large tears in his pillowcase and a sticky wetness coating his toned thighs. On top of that, there's a relentless ache in his heart. Today needs to be perfect.
soccer dad!miguel who sorts himself out and wakes Gabi up early to tidy the apartment and prepare it for your arrival. Gabriela tidies some of the clutter in her room, while Miguel focuses on cleaning the living room and the kitchen.
As he's putting away some of the clean dishes, Miguel's sharp, red eyes glance down towards the wedding band faintly shimmering on his finger. With how quickly the divorce happened, and how busy he's been taking care of Gabriela all on his own, it had totally slipped his mind to take off the ring.
With a heavy sigh, Miguel takes off the ring that's caused him so much regret, and slips it into his pocket. Gabriela is right, he could use a new "friend".
soccer dad!miguel who straightens out his simple black t-shirt, awkwardly squirming against the weight of the fabric. He feels hot, he feels nervous. It's as if he's a teenager again, his stomach is doing backflips at the thought of having a pretty girl over. But he tries to push those desires of romance and a different kind of "reconciliation" away as he hears the doorbell ring and walks to the door.
Miguel needs to focus on making up for the mean shit he said to a beautiful young lady, and allow Gabriela to make a new friend. This was about Gabi, Tony, and Miguel's need to keep watching his daughter play the game she loves. You're just an obstacle he has to overcome to do so.
Hesitantly, Miguel opens the door with a cautious Gabriela by his side, looking down to see an uneasy smile on your stunning face, and your nephew tugging on your jacket as if he's trying to pull you away so that you can escape before it's too late. Miguel can't help but chuckle at the sight.
"Come in."

soccer dad!miguel who yawns and grumbles as his eyes adjust to the early morning sun, groggily preparing Gabriela's container of frozen orange slices for today's game. It had come time for Gabi's team to play against that team once again, and Miguel was definitely less than thrilled. As he stacks slices of oranges inside the little pink lunchbox, he grows anxious about how Gabi will be treated on the field... and how he will be treated by that #10 kid's bitchy aunt after his protective outburst at their last game.
soccer dad!miguel who wakes Gabriela up and helps her get ready for her game. He gives her a long and encouraging pep talk as he watches her through the reflection of her vanity mirror, which is covered in stickers and toys dumped on the desk. He ties her hair up in a ponytail, his big, strong hands practically covering her whole head and making it easy for him to hold all of her beautiful brown hair back, but the poor guy fumbles with the tiny hair tie. Miguel listens to Gabi's optimistic predictions about the game as he straightens her shin pads and ties the sparkly blue laces threaded through her cleats.
soccer dad!miguel who refuses to let Gabi walk on any surface other than grass when she's wearing her boots. He paid too much money on the stupid things to have the studs wear down so early on in the season. Plus, what kind of a dad would Miguel be if he made his sweet little all-star stumble around the place when he could carry her instead?
soccer dad!miguel who plays rock songs in the car on the way to the game to get Gabriela hyped. It's become a bit of a tradition, the two of them headbanging to Alice in Chains, Van Halen, Guns 'n' Roses, etcetera. Miguel always has to fix Gabi's hair once he parks the car, loose strands poking out all over the place, the two of them giggling as Miguel shares his last few words of motivation with his angel.
soccer dad!miguel who carries Gabriela out of the car, and immediately spots you with your nephew. You're standing outside of your car with your nephew sitting sideways in the backseat with his little legs dangling out of the car, allowing you to tie his shoelaces and pull his socks up. As Miguel watches you acting so caring, as opposed to how dismissive you were at the last game, he can't help but be drawn to you once again, and this time not just for your body and snarky attitude. You were probably just as protective of your nephew as he is of Gabi. It makes his heart flutter when he starts to fantasise about you being the mother Gabriela desperately needs, and it makes his dick twitch at the thought of his neglected needs being satisfied by a pretty girl like you.
soccer dad!miguel who snaps himself out of his ridiculous thoughts and carries his daughter over to where her coach is setting up their pre-game drills. Gabriela seems to have noticed her dad's staring, a confused, wide-eyed look on her face.
"Papá, why were you looking at #10's tía?" Gabi asks quietly, making Miguel splutter a bit as he tries to laugh it off. Obviously, he couldn't let his daughter know that he wants to fuck her rival's aunt and make her a mother figure for Gabi. It was insane.
"No te preocupes por eso, princesa. Just sizing up the competition." Miguel whispers, pinching Gabriela's cheek to make her laugh, before putting her down on the grass and watching her run over to her teammates.
soccer dad!miguel who always picks the prime spot on the sidelines to spectate the game. He couldn't care less about the fact that his huge, muscular frame blocks the view of every stuck-up soccer mom behind him. He just cares about Gabriela and showing his support.
"¡Sigue así, Gabi! ¡Vamos!" Miguel cheers loudly as Gabi sprints with the ball, trying to make a play against the defenders.
"Hey, dumbass, do you mind? Nobody else can see." A voice from behind Miguel scolds, and his sharp red eyes narrow as he takes a guess at who it could be. He looks over his shoulder to see you, tongue in cheek and arms crossed over your chest, making your delicious tits spill out of your top.
"Not much point in me moving, your nephew's getting his ass kicked 2-0." Miguel scoffs, purposefully trying to rile you up. He had already tried being nice after the incident from the last game, he wasn't about to make the same mistake and look like a fool again.
"You're gonna get your fucking ass kicked if you don't move." You hiss, shoving Miguel out of the way and standing beside him so that you can cheer on your nephew as he helps his team stop Miguel's daughter from scoring against them. He stumbles a bit, that slight contact between your arm and his making him fight back a pathetic moan. You were fucking insufferable, but god damn you were hot.
soccer dad!miguel who spends the remainder of the game either cheering on Gabi as she plays... or arguing with you. The two of you bicker like children, Miguel throwing digs at your nephew's soccer skills while you make empty threats and refrain from making similar comments about his daughter, having already seen how crazily protective he is of his little girl and not wanting to get beat up by a grown man. By the end of the game, the argument had gotten heated, the two of you accidentally scaring off all the other spectators with your yelling and swearing, all over an under 9's soccer game.
"You and your nephew are both fucking brats. I wouldn't be surprised if he grew up to be a slut like you, too!" Miguel shouts, not even really believing the words he's blurting out. But you always seem to have a snarky comeback, he just wants to shut you up.
"You don't even know me, or my nephew. You're just mad that you and your kid are fucking loners ever since the actual slut in this situation decided to leave your pathetic ass! Don't project your sad bullshit onto me." You counter, having heard about Miguel's divorce a little while ago from one of the other parents, deciding to use that against him.
Before Miguel can retaliate, Gabriela and your nephew come rushing over, tears streaming down both of their little faces as they're accompanied by the referee and the club manager for the field you're at. You and Miguel are in deep shit now...
