22.07.2023 The biggest shoutout to @salvadorbonaparte for recommending busuu, I cannot believe I’ve gone this long in my life without ever using it?? It is fan-tas-tic and I’ve been studying for 3 hours straight

2024 goals

Get back into a reading routine

Meet friends at least once a month (= get better at reaching out, would be cool to reach out to people I never really knew but always found cool too!)

Do the damn exercises for my back :( (possibly start going to the gym or join a sport of some kind (I would love to do salsa or boxing))

Get better at Portuguese (I find it so difficult to define a level because what is my level now even?)

Get my license (my permit expires in a year so I kinda have to)

Get back into the habit of going on walks

Go to the theatre more (youth discount my beloved) and also to some museums!

Doing the last little corrections to the article and I’m 🥹🥹 just getting emotional. This project that started as my bachelors thesis in my childhood bedroom at 21 during the start of the pandemic. How things have changed since then! I’ve moved twice, got another degree, got a job relevant for this degree where I use Italian every day. Presented this research in the most prestigious institution I can think of. Grew, dated, got a loving partner. Cried, hurt, changed, lost and won. What did I know of this four years ago? My research is getting published in a journal this month. Isn’t that truly something to behold?
