I don't know where the idea of an intersexual elia comes from but no, intersexuality is NEVER mentioned in the season.
And yeah, i agree that the theme could be a way to tackle other issues such as toxic masculinity, the whole macho concept, sex ed amongst teens and so on. Unfortunately it's shallow and dealt in such a superficial and lazy way that i genuinely wondered what the point of the whole season was.
I would approach the season with caution and with extremely low expectations guys.

Skamit S6 finita <3
Molto carina, mi è piaciuta, anche se non mi è arrivata come altre stagioni precedenti. È ben fatta ma non scalfisce il mio podio emotivo S2-S4-S5.
La storyline sui DCA l'ho percepita ben gestita ma un po' distante - un po' perché non mi è arrivata sempre l'interpretazione di Asia, ma c'entra anche la mia fortuna nel non aver avuto *quel* tipo di problemi (ma sono cose mie).
Invece la storyline di Giulio mi ha spappolata abbastanza (positive) 🥲 io non posso sopravvivere senza pensare che le persone possano cambiare e migliorare e redimersi, e infatti mi becco sempre dell'ingenuotta troppo buona che trova giustificazione anche per chi non se lo merita, quindi m'ha preso in un punto debole - soprattutto perché chi non si fidava aveva delle buonissime ragioni.
Ai nuovi personaggi voglio bene (specialmente Fiorella cutie e Viola topina dolcina) anche se non mi sono (ancora?) affezionata come al vecchio cast. Hanno bisogno di più cazzeggio, più abbracci, più tocchi. -> editino successivo perché mi sono resa conto che questa "distanza" che percepivo è letteralmente un plot point lol (vedi discorso di Rebecca verso la fine) quindi mi aspetto che cambi nelle eventuali prossime stagioni
E (speranza forse un po' vana) vorrei che il vecchio cast tornasse ogni volta per fare da "mentore"/supporto ai nuovi, come Silvia a questo giro. Chissà.

saw your post about skamit did you watch it? is that your official review
I did watch it!
The embargo lifted today so i can safely say that i found it really poorly and lazily written, to the point where some scenes feel unrealistic (in a series that made realism one of its best selling points, imo).
It felt as if the writers wanted to add as many things at possible, which would work in a 20-episode season. But you can't cohesively tell that many things in the span of ten short episodes.
The most interesting storyline doesn't even revolve around elia, which says A LOT about his own storyline i'm afraid

Look, this season was pretty cute but it didn't make me want to go to the ao3 and read/write marti&nico fics (unlike s4 did). Which is fine bc it was about elia and viola but still

Ok, skamit prompt (no pressure, only if you like it): something with Nico and Elia, as we're probably going to get a few scenes with them in s5 👀
There's something about him that Elia can't quite understand.
He had been wary of this guy at first; he had to be. Gio was trusting Marti's gut - as if anyone could relate on it, when they had seen just a couple of hours before how hard he had fallen for Niccolò - and Luca had been his number one fan ever since he bought brekfast for them in Trevignano.
He tried hard not to be charmed by his enthusiastic creativity, that could rival Luca's in its foolishness, or by him being nearly as good as a listener Giovanni was on his best days.
He failed, and that's okay. Elia can admit, years later, that got a new friend of whatever drama Marti went through between October and December 2018.
One that gladly helps him out on the the newest Contrabbandieri's song, who doesn't even try to comfort Elia with platitudes after he failed the same exam for the fifth time, or to condescendigly remind him that there's nothing wrong in dropping out and take some time to find his true calling. Who gives him umprompted advice on how to make Viola fall at his feet, although it seems that he and Marti ended up with each other by sheer luck given their mutual inability to flirt and Nico's questionable ideas about romantic settings.
He longs to experience that same kind of love. Without turning into a human octopus like they did, hopefully. What's with all that kissing and having to be around each other ninety per cent of the time? It sounds exhausting.
Besides, he isn't sure he can be bothered to fight for it. He has given up on Sana quite easily, after making sure that Malik would do right by her and with Viola… It's effortless, in a way it probably shouldn't? She gets on his nerves, with her 'ok, boomer' attitude even though she is like two years younger than him. But she's fun to be around, occasionally.
Sometimes he pictures himself shutting her up with a kiss, but he still can't tell if he's really into her or into the idea of not being the only one who isn't dating amongst his friends.
So he thanks Niccolò for the input, promising that if he were to put his infallible plans into action he would be the first to know, and tells him its time to check on Filo and Marti who are probably feeling a bit neglected by now.
"Don't forget, Elì, that fortune favours the bold." Nico reminds him, as he got up from the ratty old sofa. "Just because it didn't work out with Sana doesn't mean you're doomed to fail with Viola as well."
Whatever. She can be the bold one, he's done wearing his heart on his sleeve only for people to take advantage of it.
"Whatever, man. Stop being so obsessed with my love life; I'm fine!"
So what if he had been a bit sad at Rami's graduation party?
He got over it already.
He did.
