TL;DR Dan* would actually be identified as the Snowman (since all sorts of creatures exist in-universe, I thought it would be fine to make them a shapeshifter of sorts). This would, however, change the episode order so Dan Vs. Dan happens after the seasonal episodes in season 2, probably occurring between january and february after Dan Vs. The Mall Santa.

Dan Vs. Technology is the first episode I could see having the most alterations regarding the AU - only thing I would add is that in Dan Vs. The Ninja, Dan would probably recognize Elise’s undercover outfit but would assume she’s generally a secret agent, not his mission partner specifically. It has to do with his “patchwork of knowledge” and how he glosses over more obvious facts in every situation.
